Danny could hardly believe what just happened. First, he meets a new teacher, then she discovers his name was not on the list, and finally, there was a file of detention slips for all four years! Did everyone really dislike him that much?! He knew that his sister was at the top of the class, and she told him he didn't have to be like her, but this was crazy!

"Mr. Fenton?"

Danny blinks before looking up to see his new teacher.

"Miss Skyworld?" Danny asked, surprised to see her.

"Are you alright? I understand what I found must be shocking." Palutena said.

"I'm...not sure. I mean, having detention for all four years?! I know I'm not as smart as my sister, but why would Mr. Lancer do that?" Danny asked, confused.

Palutena frowns, knowing he isn't going to like what she just learned with the other teachers.

"I'm afraid it's much worse." She said, telling him what happened with the meeting she had.

When she finished, Danny was even more shocked. ALL of the teachers think he was not worth teaching?! Then, why did they accept him?!

"They tried to blackmail me into treating you the same they do, but I'm smarter than that. No matter how much they try, I would never treat you as something you're not." Palutena said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Unlike those teachers, I see before me a bright young man who has a future waiting for him. And I know you can chase that dream." She added, smiling.

"You mean it?" Danny asked.

"Of course I do. We may have just met, but even I know that you are more than what people make of you. I want you to chase after the future you made for yourself. I think you're much more than what you are." Palutena said, causing Danny to smile.

"Thanks, Miss Skyworld," Danny said, feeling a bit better.

"Please, call me Palutena." She said, feeling her light shine bright in him.

"Okay, Palutena," Danny said before hugging her.

She was a bit surprised by the action, but it did feel nice. She returned it, making her remember how Pit would sometimes do this. They broke the hug before Palutena placed a small kiss on Danny's forehead, surprising him.

"What?" Danny asked, surprised.

"Just to let you know that I'm here if you need me," Palutena said, smiling.

Through, she was also beating herself a little bit. She did not mean to do that, but with how heartbroken he looked when she told him the truth, she didn't want to take it back.

Danny could only nod before leaving to find his friends. Palutena smiles, seeing how much he and Pit are alike. However, she did spot someone else following Danny and she narrowed her eyes. Using a small amount of her powers, she partly blinds Dash, making him trip over a mop bucket which flips and dumps the water on him before the bucket lands on his head.

Palutena giggles, having stopped him for now. Looks like she has some things to report to Zeus at the end of the day.

The next day,

Danny still couldn't believe what the teachers thought of him. They thought he was not worth teaching! And they approve of Jazz more despite they were siblings! Danny sighs before he also remembers Palutena's words. She wanted him to chase his dream and she was nice. Danny admitted that he hugged her without thinking and was surprised by the kiss she gave him. It felt nice.

His classes went on as normal, but this time he knew the truth. When the teachers called for the student's names, Danny knew why his name was missing. When they tried to give him a detention slip, he wanted until after class to throw it away. He was done with the treatment he was given. And seeing that the Principal was on the teacher's side was no longer any help. If they are going to treat him like he's not here, then he won't try to act like it.

"Danny? Are you ok?" Sam asked, breaking him from his thoughts.

"Yeah, just getting ready to throw this useless detention slip away," Danny said, rolling his eyes.

"Won't that get you in trouble?" Tucker asked.

"Tuck, the teachers think I'm not worth of being taught. They have been given out lame excuses to give me detention. Except for Miss Skyworld." Danny told him.

"I don't know, Danny. How do you know she's not being paid under the table to say those things?" Sam asked.

"Sam, Miss Skyworld isn't like the other teachers. I think she means what she told me." Danny said, having a feeling that she did really mean what she said.

Sam raised an eyebrow, still not sure about this. However, before she could say anything else, The Principal walked up to them before grabbing Danny's shoulder.

"Mr. Fenton, my office. Now." She said, making him sign.

He followed her and spotted Dash smirking at him. Danny shook his head, knowing this was not going to end differently. He enters the office and sits down. The Principal walked around her desk, pulled out a huge folder, and took out a piece of paper. When Danny read it, he was surprised.

"Expal?!" Danny shouted.

"Yes, one of our students reported that you were with Miss Skyworld in the halls and she kissed you. You know the rules. Mr. Fenton." She said, causing Danny to get upset.

"One, she was talking to me to help me feel better. Two, she kissed my forehead as means to cheer me up. And Three, AM I THAT USELESS TO YOU!?" Danny shouted.

"Mr. Fenton, that's enough!" The Principal said.

"Is it? Now that I know NO ONE has any hope for me, why should I act like I care?! You don't! Instead of trying to help me, like a real principal should do, you treat me like I'm nothing! If I'm that useless, then why did you accept me?" Danny told her.

"Because we thought that you were as smart as your sister, but we could clearly see we're wrong." The Principal said.

"What?! You thought Jazz was born smart?! She had to work her way up there! I'm a few years younger than her! My brain does not work the same way as hers! She even told me that I don't have to be like her!" Danny said, glaring.

"Regardless, you know the rules." The Principal said.

Danny groans before deciding on one last thing.

"Fine. Have it your way. Since you don't care about anyone besides yourselves, then I guess that Casper High is NOT the greatest school in town. If you're choosing to believe the A-Listers over the rest of the students, then enjoy it while you can." Danny said, getting up.

"And Miss Skyworld won't fall for this lie so easily," Danny said before opening the door to show her.

Palutena was very angry. She couldn't believe what she just heard. They were going to expel Danny because she kissed his forehead?! She had half in mind to show her true goddess form and curse all the teachers and A-Listers for their actions! But after what she did to Medusa, she swore in Zeus's name she would never do that again.

"YOU'RE GOING TO EXPEL HIM FOR A SINGLE KISS ON HIS FOREHEAD?!" She shouted, not believing this.

"Miss Skyworld, you know he's a student..." The principal started.

"By Zeus's lightning, WILL YOU STOP!" Palutena shouted, knowing the real reason they were doing this.

"If you're that petty, then I see no point in trying. I quit." She said before pulling out her phone.

A few clicks later, she closed it and glared at the principal. She then turns to Danny before sighing.

"Coming, Mr. Fenton?" She asked, knowing he was expelled.

"Yeah. What did you do, anyway?" Danny asked.

"I just send everything to all the parents of what the school was truly doing with their children. I warned them and they didn't listen." Palutena said, removing her glasses.

"And they can no longer hide it. So, enjoy the mob of angry parents at your door." Palutena said, walking out with Danny behind her.

As the two walked down the hall, lots of students noticed that they were getting calls from their parents, and Dash glared at Danny.

"Mr. Baxter, you can't blame Daniel for this. He had nothing to do with it. I'm the one behind it. And thanks to you and the teachers, Casper High is no longer able to hide the truth. Daniel is expelled and I quit." She spoke up.

Danny stopped by his locker and told his friends what happened. They were shocked to hear he was expelled and their new teacher just quit. The two left together, both of them not caring what other people were saying.

Outside,

Medusa balled her free hand into a fist. As if she thought humans wouldn't go any lower! Medusa wanted to turn that Principal in stone and smash her to pieces! She was well aware of Palutena's kindness and even she KNEW what that kiss was!

"And she wouldn't why most of us can't stand them!" Medusa said, growling.

She was hoping to make her move, but the school clearly did not care. She turns to see the girl she was watching, who was very upset about what the principal just did. It seems that Medusa would have to do her plan earlier than wanted.

"You picked your champion, Palutena. And I just found mine." Medusa said, feeling sorry for the boy.

Medusa decides to help Palutena in her own way. By the time Casper High knew the truth, it would be too late.

And done, for now. I'm sorry if this chapter feels a bit too fast, but I did want to try something different. So, Palutena told Danny the truth about the school and did what she could to help him feel better. Sadly, it seems that the Principal and the teachers did not take her warning seriously and expelled Danny for having a "relationship" with Palutena. Danny called the school out on their actions and Palutena quit before exposing Casper High to the world. Even Medusa couldn't believe what the teachers and principal did.

When I get back around to this again, I'm going to try and have Jazz and Medusa meet. Also, there are no pairings in this story. For those who might think this is a DannyxPalutena pairing, it's not. I'm trying to make it feel like a Mother/Son relationship with them. Much like how some people might see the same between Palutena and Pit.
