It was Morro himself with that same annoying smile.
"Well, hello, Zane. How's my favorite old flame?" Morro crooned with that thrice-damned smile, waltzing into the temple like he owned it. Morro shot him a rather cheeky look at the nindroid's shocked face.
"Wow. Zane, sweetheart, you didn't miss me? So the First Spinjitsu Master sent me all the way here to see little ol' you, and this is how you treat me?" Morro carefully blew himself towards Zane, and Zane laughed, half disbelieving and half relieved.
"Morro. Beloved. I was just thinking about you," Zane practically swooned, making Morro smile along with him.
Morro carefully offered his hands, and Zane took it without much resistance. Zane was quickly drawn into Morro's arms and a tight hug.
"Zane…Zane hun…I'm sorry. I'm so sorry…" Morro whispered into his hidden audial.
"Morro. It's fine, I understand. Death must have been…traumatic and rejection even more." Zane sighed, carding his hands through Morro's hair.
"But…I missed you. I remember our youth with each other. Youthful love is something beautiful, and it is something I am glad that I got to experience with you." Zane hummed into his ear, and Morro pulled his head away to kiss him, which made Zane tilt his head away.
"...Zane?" Morro stared at him, wondering if this was his second taste of rejection. "M-my circuits got a little frosted; kissing me right now wouldn't be pleasant." Zane shyly whispered, leaning a little farther back.
"Frosted? Why? What happened?" Morro held onto him softly, and Zane could feel Morro's hands tightening around his waist.
"Death hurts. Rejection even more so." Zane sighed, and Morro's inquisitive gaze hardened. "They rejected you?" Was Morro's horrified whisper, and Zane sighed.
"Not just them, Ninjago as a whole. As far as they care, there is no ice ninja. There is no Zane Julien." Zane hissed sourly, still angered about what had transpired, he thought they at least would stand up for him if push came to shove, but it seemed that they were the shovers. Morro pulled him into a hug, and Zane sighed happily. "Darling…I am so sorry." Morro whispered into his neck, and Zane kissed his forehead.
"It is fine beloved. I will survive." Zane nuzzled him slowly, and Morro pulled his head off Zane's shoulder before pulling the nindroid into a kiss.
"That couldn't have been pleasant," Zane commented as they separated, but Morro swooped back in to do it again.
They stayed there for a while, just hugging and loving before Zane sighed and started to untangle himself from Morro.
"Darling?" Morro called, letting him go, but Zane plucked the crown he laid on the throne's cushion and plopped it on Morro's head.
"Now I need your help, my knight." Zane took a few steps back and made a large sweeping motion towards the cases.
"How did I not notice that?" Morro murmured to himself before walking over to them, stopping before the bow. Morro looked toward the other cases before he grinned. "It's not just us, hun?" Morro crowed, and Zane rolled his eyes.
"No. We need to retrieve the others, my knight." Zane hummed, and Zane sauntered up behind him, and they started to share soft kisses.
"I'll take care of everything," Morro whispered against his lips, and Zane hummed in interest. "Thank you, beloved."

Sorry for taking so long, I was writing this off and on, and I wanted to try to write all the chapters before I updated, but hey, it's mean to make people wait so long, so please enjoy :D.(also yes, Zorro was...established previously. Honestly they're strangers-to-friends-to-lovers-to-exes-to-enemies-to-lovers again) Anywoo see you next chapter.
Also, if these seem short, yeah, I was trying to make each of them around 500 words though that kind of got dropped yeesh
