Chapter 13: Captured Snowman

The streets of Arendelle were crawling with False Facers all on the lookout for any of the Frozen Cast to shoot on sight. Just like in all the Arkham Games, the thugs who were out on patrol were having casual discussions about what was going down. "Just our luck! Black Mask gets the key to the castle and is living it up inside while we are out on here to keep watch for those do gooders.", one thug said. "We're just taking turns. It's our turn tonight and tomorrow, it'll be someone else's and then, we can have our share of luxury.", another guy said. "I guess you're right. Either way, it's certainly a nice change from the shithole that is Gotham City. Big change as far as scenery and noises. Much nicer area to look at and not so many people talking.", the first guy said. While they were talking, Olaf had snuck back into the kingdom and made sure he wasn't spotted as he made his way inside the castle while still not being spotted. He was doing all this just to get Elsa what she wanted which was her mother's old shawl to show just how loyal he is just like back in December when he was hellbent to find the right holiday tradition for the sisters. There were still some False Face goons walking around the halls, but nothing too complicated to sneak past. "Okay, Olaf. Just find Elsa's room to get that nice warm shawl for her and then back to the others.", the snowman said to himself. He eventually made his way to Elsa's room while still remaining undetected. Because it was locked, he picked it open with his carrot and made his way inside. He had to do some searching in order to find what he was looking for as it was nowhere in plain sight. "Hopefully, no one is hearing me.", he said to himself as he was making a little commotion with going through the room. After about 10 minutes of looking, he found Queen Iduna's old shawl which Elsa said she wanted, but didn't have back at the valley. "Here it is! Elsa will be so happy be snuggled up with you!", Olaf said. He grabbed it with his stick hand and made his way out of her room. "I'm sure Elsa will feel much better once she's all wrapped up in you and...", Olaf trailed off as he bumped into something or someone I should say. Olaf looked up and panicked once he saw he ran right into Black Mask with a couple of his men by his side. The three of them looked down menacingly at the innocent snowman who held the shawl tightly in his hands. "Well...hello there!", Black Mask said evilly. Olaf gulped as he was scared of what was to become of him now. Meanwhile back at the home of the trolls, everyone was wide awake again as Kristoff was telling stories from when he and Sven were younger. "And then it took about five or six troll to pull me and Sven out of that hole in the tree. Because I was a little chunkier in my preteen years, it was kinda difficult. Although, not as difficult as Sven whose antlers made it nearly impossible to get out.", Kristoff said. Everyone there was chuckling at the amusing story. "Please, don't remind me. That was a bad experience. Olaf would get a kick out of hearing that.", Sven said as he was reminiscing about said events. But after bringing up Olaf, Sven began to look around for the snowman who was oddly nowhere to be seen. "Hey! Where is Olaf?", Sven asked. Everyone began to look around as they couldn't see him either. "I thought it was quieter than usual.", Jacob said. "Olaf? Olaf!", Anna shouted in a worried voice. Everyone began shouting the snowman's name with no response. "Where the hell could he have gone?", Jacob asked. The young troll named Halle covered for Olaf and said, "He said he went berry picking.". "Berry picking? There are no berries growing anywhere near here.", Cliff said. "Halle, where is Olaf?", Bulda asked the young troll as she felt she was hiding the truth. "Okay. Olaf told me he wanted to go back to the castle to get the shawl Elsa wanted.", Halle answered. "What?! How long ago did he leave?", Elsa asked. "About four hours ago. And he's still not back.", Halle said. "Oh, Jesus! They must've found him and caught him!", Jacob said. "Well, we have to go save him if that masked maniac is holding him hostage!", Anna said in distress. "Agreed. But before we do, we're going to make a stop in Gotham first.", Jacob said. "What? Why?", Elsa asked. "To do, what we probably should've done in the first place. Call on Batman and get him to help us take down Sionis. I thought this was something we could do on our own to prove to him we didn't always need him to handle situations like this. But with everything that's happened since those gangsters came here, it seems like we do.", Jacob said. "You might be right, Jake. Especially, we might need him if we're going to infiltrate the castle.", Sven said. "Pabbie, do you have any of those crystals on you?", Jacob asked. "I do believe so.", Pabbie answered as he reached into a small bag. The head troll pulled out just what they needed and handed it to him. "Just be careful and don't get yourselves killed.", Pabbie told them. "We won't. Trust us.", Elsa said. Jacob said the name of the city he wished for the crystal to take them and threw it on the ground which made a portal open up. Jacob, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven all went through it and let it take them to Gotham City.
