Out of all the things I thought I was gonna do today, talking to a giant robot wasn't one of them.
Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Reyna, Hedge, Chiron, the Stolls, Will, and me were the only ones left standing after the whole fiasco with the crash and demigods attacking Soundwave, the giant robot. With everything over with, he seemed pretty chill and open to questions.
His cassettes were asking him some questions, mainly asking where they were, how they got there, and why they weren't allowed to attack us. The twins sounded similar to Soundwave, just with more attitude and less vocoded effects. Lazerbeak had a deeper, more gravely parrot-like voice, unsurprisingly. Interestingly, Ravage was Russian. At the very least, he had a Russian accent.
Soundwave answered all of the cassette's questions, as well as some of our own questions. Mainly, how he had somehow managed to travel into an alternate universe, our universe, because of this "Former Prime"
The cassettes were gawking at Soundwave after he said that.
"Logos Prime wants you as his heir?!" Ravage shouted.
"Affirmative."
Percy asked, "Logos Prime? Who's that?"
"He is the Lost Prime. He vanished while an expedition leaving Cybertron, our home planet." Soundwave explained.
Percy asked, "Why's he so Important?"
"Did you just ask why a Prime, let alone one of the Thirteen, is so important?!" The blue guy shrieked.
Jason asked, "The Thirteen?"
"The Thirteen original Primes!" red guy yelled, "the champions of Primus!"
"Who's Primus?" Will asked.
"You don't know Primus?!" the twins yelled in sync.
"Rumble, Frenzy, we are in a different universe. Do not expect them to know of our history."
"Still!" red guy shouted, "How could they not know about the primordial god of light, peace, and hope?!"
"We are in a universe where Primus does not exist."
"By the Allspark." Laserbeak exclaimed.
"So, this Primus is like your version of the gods?" Annabeth asked.
"Affirmative."
"Then, why are the Thirteen Original Primes important?"
Soundwave explained, "The Thirteen were the first creations of Primus. Being the first creations, they were imbued with awe-inspiring power."
Chiron asked, "What kind of power?"
"For example, Vector Prime could control time, Solus Prime could create anything from any raw material, and Amalgamous Prime could assume any fork he could imagine." He elaborated.
"By the gods!" Frank gawked.
Soundwave added, "In fact, while being more like demigods in term of nature, half-god half-mortal, their power matched your Olympian gods."
"They could match the gods?" Hazel squeeked.
"Affirmative."
"Holy Hades." I exclaimed.
"Why has he sent us here? And why has he not tried to contact anyone? "Ravage questioned.
"He was cut off from our world when he entered the undead universe."
Laserbeak asked, "Then why didn't he come back?"
"He was afraid of what would happen to him if he came back, of what he would become. The undead universe corrupted his body."
"Jeez, that's rough." Piper exclaimed.
"Then, why did he send us here?" Laserbeak asked.
"He sent us here to learn about my past."
Annabeth questioned, "How? Shouldn't he have sent you to your home world, where that information would exist?"
"I asked him that very same question. In response, he said I would have to dream to find my past. He sent me here to find the Dreamer, who would take me to the one who could make me dream."
Chiron commented, "Interesting. Who is this Dreamer?"
"I do not know."
"So, you're here to seek knowledge as a traveler?" Chiron asked.
"Affirmative."
"Alright. Everyone," Chiron announced, listen. As Soundwave is here as a sovereign traveler, you must observe this and treat him with respect."
Soundwave added, "I do wish, for their sakes, our demigod hosts accept this."
Frank, noticing the threat, jumped in. "Wait, did you just threaten us?"
Annabeth explained, "If he was, he has every right to considering how we've treated them. Besides, I don't think there's much we could do to him. You all saw what happened. Our weapons just bounced off of him."
Red guy indulged in his pride.
"You're sure right! Unlike you fleshlings, we Cybertronians pride ourselves on durability."
Blue guy joined in.
"Yeah! You couldn't even dent us with sledgehammers!"
Lazerbeak chimed in as well.
"High-calibers can't even hit me!"
Soundwave participated in the gloating.
"Unless you have Surface to Air Missiles available, you cannot harm us. Even then, you might not be able too. Tell them Ravage."
Ravage was now holding his head high with pride. "Once, a bunch of ruffians came at me with a tank. When they finally ran away, I had to be sent to the infirmary. You know what for?"
"Why?" Will gasped.
"Because I had gotten some of their tank stuck between my teeth!"
At that, Soundwave and the cassettes doubled over laughing. Despite the laughter coming from a previous threat, it was nice to see them happy together.
Blue guy was the first to recover. "Now that we've got things cleared up, how about a party! We have the time, don't we?"
"Soundwave can set the music." Ravage suggested.
"Yes! He was one of the best musicians on Cybertron." Lazerbeak agreed.
"Unfortunately, we cannot. At least not today, for we must get used to our new environment. We may have a party later on."
Just then, everyone stopped and gasped, looking at Soundwave. At first he was confused why everyone was staring at him.
Ravage was the one to let him know. "Soundwave, look! Above your head!"
He looked up, and saw what we were all staring at. A glowing lyre floated above his head, and he tried everything to get it off. He moved around, swatted at it, even pulled out a gun and shot at it. Yet, the glowing lyre stood there.
Then, it changed to an owl. Yet again, he tried to get it off. This time, he tried to shake it. Yet, when he stopped, the owl was still above his head.
Again, it changed. It became a flaming hammer. Soundwave yelled in frustration and began blasting sound at it. Yet, it didn't budge.
The rest of the campers were already up, dazed, but up. They got up just in time, too, as they witnessed the "claiming," if you could call it that. The three symbols were constantly flickering between each other, seeming to fight over who got to claim the Cybertronian.
Apollo, Athena, and Hephaestus. All three of them were trying to claim Soundwave.
Apollo mini-chapter!
Athena, Hephaestus, and I were fighting over who got to claim this glorious alien.
"He is a pursuer of knowledge!" Athena roared. "He should be my champion!"
"Fat chance! He's a machine, and who's the god of machines? Me! He's mine!" Hephaestus growled.
I yelled, "He is not a machine for you to tinker with! He is alive, and he is a musician! He should be my champion!"
"Do you see him?! He's the most advanced robot I've ever seen!" Hephaestus declared.
I retorted, "He's a robotic-organism! Plus, he's literally built for music! He has speakers in his shoulders, controls sound, and uses a guitar as a weapon! You can't get any more music-y than that!"
Athena yelled, "His name is Logos Prime, as in logic! He practically has my name written on him!"
"If he really did have your name written on him, he'd be Sofos Prime!" Hephaestus rebutted.
"He is Soundwave, a musician! He should be the champion of the god of music!" I hollered.
This arguing went on for a bit, with all three of us going back and forth over who had a right to claim him. Eventually, the winner was decided.

The symbols finally stopped flickering. When they did, the lyre stood. Soundwave was claimed.
Chiron motioned for everyone to bow, as he declared, "Behold! Soundwave, champion of Apollo!"
