The next day, the group watched a news program detailing the events that took place yesterday.

"Yesterday, the airport was subject to a terrorist attack. Eyewitness accounts describe the terrorists dressed in templar style knight armor, and fully armed. After causing damage to one of the planes and a nearby warehouse, the terrorists disappeared. Despite this attack, the fatalities were minimal; only twenty people have been confirmed to have been killed, though the cause of death is unknown at this time. Motivations for this attack have not been announced, leaving the public worried about when and where these terrorists will strike next. In other news, the highschool track star Moyuru Koda will be taking part in-"

Mark turned off the program. "Well, at least the demon part is still under wraps." he said. "Guess the Crusade isn't all that concerned with public opinion at the moment."

"Of course they are not. If they were, they wouldn't have gone through with everything they did in the first place." David said.

"And there's also the other cases." Izuku remarked, with creased eye-brows. "...The people say that there have been unexplained murder cases that eye-witnesses have said were done by people bearing a certain mark… I think that the demons hidden within this society are made desperate, as if the Prideful Crusade spooked them severely…"

"Hmm… That would make sense. I mean, if they knew that there are people that could kill demons, I wouldn't really blame them for getting anxious." David said.

As Akira trudged into the meeting room, a good number of the group looked at him, as he looked fairly shamed.

"Um… you guys wouldn't happen to do me a small favor, would you?" Akira asked, trying to hide his shame.

"Whoa, what happened to you?" David asked.

Akira looked nervous as his eyes whipped left and right. "I swear, I thought I had it under control, I really did. But…I don't know, I guess I got so relieved yesterday that I let myself get too relaxed, and-"

"Akira, buddy, calm down. What happened?" Scarlet asked.

"I…need some help cleaning up my apartment."

"Is that all? Well, that doesn't sound like something to get too worked up about." Sachiko said.

"Yeah. What's the problem?" Mark asked.

"Just…just look at this." Akira said, handing his phone over to Mark.

"Let's see…okay, a splash of white paint on your ceiling, a bit of a pain to clean but-" Mark said, before he saw the look on Akira's face and understood. His expression went from confusion, to shock, to horror, to nauseated, all in the span of five seconds. "...Oh. Oh no."

"Oh-oh… Yikes… That's… Yeah, I can see why you are so worked up now." David said, trying to regain his composure.

Simon had his eyes closed as he tapped his foot in slight irritation and hummed Fly me to the Moon to calm himself. "Wow. Just…wow."

"Believe me, the first time it happened, I was literally stunned." Akira admitted with a grimace. "Thought it was a one-time affair… but no, it just had to happen every time. Sometimes, the dreams that ended up making me burst were different, but the outcome is the same… And I had to find ways to get rid of this before Miki or her family finds this… and now that mom's alive and well… If the attack didn't kill her, this will, out of shame."

"Oy vey." Goutou said.

"Uh… A-Anyone got any idea how to deal with that?" Ochaco remarked, as her face was red with embarrassment. "M-Miss Thorani, you wouldn't mind-"

"Oh no no, while I am fine with tending to your needs and helping heal you all. This is a line I'd rather not cross." Thorani said.

"Yeah, that's fair." Akira said flatly. "Anyone else a water bender around here?"

"Well-" Hope started.

"Nope, I'm not cleaning up THAT Mess." Mermista said.

"Seconded! I'm not going anywhere near that!" Noelle said, in total disgust.

"Agreed." Lapis deadpanned.

"Well, how about Juvi-" Mark started, before he felt a wave of killing intent behind him. "...You know what, nevermind."

"Fine. If no one else is willing to, I'll help clean up." David said.

"As will I. Such is my solemn duty." Kirumi said.

"Yeah, thanks." Akira nodded back. "I guess I owe you guys another one."

Several hours later…

As Sapphire began to walk into a fashion store, in order to find an appropriate attire for her stay in the world, she fumbled through several sets of school uniforms.

"Trouble picking a good school disguise?" A voice asked.

"No… it's just… school uniforms are… they make me so embarrassed!" FS!Sapphire exclaimed.

"Lemme guess… too tight on the chest?" the voice asked.

"How the heck would you know!?" FS!Sapphire asked, knowing it was a guy's voice behind.

"Just a hunch. No need to offend, especially since I'm meeting you for the first time." the voice said.

Sapphire turned around and saw Hope standing there.

"Pleasure to meet you, Siege's little sister." Hope smiled.

"Oh! Hope! Hey there…" FS!Sapphire stated, smiling softly. "...I just… I have a school uniform already… so I was hoping the stores here had something less… form fitting…" FS!Sapphire sighed.

"You know, you really don't have to go to Akira's school if it's that embarrassing." Hope said.

"Well, Mark suggested I should so I'd blend in better…" FS!Sapphire sighed. "For the sake of things, I guess it's better to weather the embarrassment for the good of it all. I'll meet you outside once I get changed…"

Hope waited outside the stores at that, waiting for Sapphire to be done. A few minutes later, she soon came out. She was now dressed in a dark blue jacket, which was over a form fitting white buttoned shirt, a blue skirt that just barely reached below her hips, a set of leggings, and ending it all off with ankle high white boots.

Like Hope had predicted, the white shirt was REALLY hugging her chest. And the skirt and leggings weren't helping either, making her really appear curvaceous.

"Just go ahead and laugh, get it out of your system. I know I look like your typical anime school girl featured on the cover of a horny magazine-" FS!Sapphire rattled off.

"Actually, it's not funny at all." Hope smiled, cutting Sapphire up. "Actually, I find it kinda… cute, to be honest."

At this comment, Sapphire turned completely red in the face, as her eyes were swirling and her mouth trembled.

"Wh-wh-wh-wh-wha-what…!?" FS!Sapphire stammered before a comical puff of steam poofed over her head, as she nearly fainted.

"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to make you erupt with embarrassment…" Hope apologized..

"Aaaaa…. Uuuh…. I-...I…I'll… catch up… s…soon… uooooh…." FS!Sapphire remarked, trying to stay upright.'

She was about to fall over, but Hope caught her and supported her so she regained her balance.

"Whoa. It's okay, I gotcha." Hope said. "Cmon, let's walk back together."

"O-o-o-o-okayyy…." FS!Sapphire gulped as her eyes were swirling now.

Hope and Sapphire soon began walking back to the Galaxy King together, the latter soon regaining her composure at last as she shook her head a couple times.

"Lemme say again, it's a pleasure to meet you, Sapphire. I'm sure your brother has told you a lot about me and my friends." Hope said.

"He has. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to be here… but he's down and out right now, sadly." FS!Sapphire admitted.

"Yeah, we heard all about how he took some nasty hits in his dimension recently. Good to know he's recovering okay." Hope replied.

"Well, sort of. He's incapacitated and we need to gather certain things to get him back up. Regardless, that's not important." FS!Sapphire remarked.

"Yeah. Mark told us this morning you were coming over to help us in case things really go to hell." Hope said. "Frankly speaking, we could use all the help we can get. If you're anything like your brother, I'm relieved you're here to help."

"Happy to help. Let's meet up with the others." FS!Sapphire nodded.

The Galaxy King…

"Hey everyone, I'm here!" FS!Sapphire called as she walked in with Hope. "Sapphire Sukui of the Future Seekers reporting in!"

"Oh, so you're Siege's little sister." Lei K said. "Great to have you on board."

"I'm glad to be here. Wish it was under better circumstances." FS!Sapphire remarked.

"Pleasure to meet ya." Nemona said.

"We're glad to have you with us." Kieran said.

"Huh. I never thought that the day would come when I would see someone like you." Akira remarked. "You sort of remind me of how I'd imagine Taro, if he was a daughter, instead of a son, with that gung-ho personality of yours."

"Uhh… thanks?" FS!Sapphire asked.

"Uh…guess we should make the intro of this guy. This is Akira Fudo…Devilman." Izuku said.

"As you know, his world's trapped in a time loop. We're out to break it to not only save it, but then have it under the control of a candidate we're supporting in the Demon Election." Hope said.

"Speaking of which, where did J-Hack and Eugene get off to?" ZS asked.

"Oh, they went out in human disguises." Mark said. "They wanted to get a feel for this world, they said. Hartwin said they could take care of themselves."

"Alright, makes sense." the undead acquiesced.

"Anyway, Sapphire." Mark started. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is your power set? What abilities do you have?"

"Yeah, do you take after your big bro?" Penny asked.

"Well, I wouldn't call myself anywhere close to him…. But I've kept up with him when he goes Super Saiyan Omega, that's the best I can answer that." FS!Sapphire admitted.

"Cool! We have no idea what that is, but it sounds strong!" Eddy responded.

"When I don't exactly have a good scaling, it's hard to tell, huh…" FS!Sapphire giggled.

"Now that we have introductions out of the way…Akira, who're we going after today?" Shirou asked.

"Sirene…" Akira said. "The only demon…I never defeated."

"Why?" Izuku asked back.

"Because she had a companion with her, who never left her side, or hesitated to stand by her side. Not much different from most of you." Akira answered back. "The two of them were platonically bonded to each other, devils they may be, and merged together into a creature that surpassed me. The only reason I survived… was because I was able to wound her enough for her fused body to die of that wound. It was a miracle, when I look back at it."

"So in other words you couldn't beat her because she fused into a stronger being?" FS!Sapphire asked. "...No different from me sparring with Gogeta or Shallet I suppose then."

"Either way, I'm going to need to lure her out." Akira answered back. "While I may be stronger than I was in those previous loops… I've no doubt that the status quo will remain mostly the same. She could be kept just out of reach of the extent of my power for some cosmological reason."

"If you can't lure her, then I'll try to be there to help you to victory." FS!Sapphire promised Akira.

"And don't forget the rest of us." Izuku declared. "We won't abandon you in your time of distress."

"Thanks, all of you." Akira smirked.

As Akira began to stride through the red-light district, he noticed how it felt mildly nostalgic to be walking down the streets, after having spent so long repeating the same trip over and over, until he was freed from it temporarily with the help of Dark Hell.

"Come on in, come on in!" One of the door-ladies beckoned Akira, as he looked at her, before turning away, knowing that she was not Sirene.

As Akira heard as more and more of them called out to him, complimenting his figure and mentality, Akira couldn't help but snort.

'Funny, a long time before, I was a limping, drooling mess that people didn't want anything to do with.' Akira thought to himself. 'And now, after facing my own fears and my own doubts, I'm a lot more composed than I am… I wonder how Sirene will take to that.'

It did not take Akira long to find Sirene, who was kneeling down in front of a prostitute bar, with her long white hair covering her eyes.

"Hey there." Sirene stated. "Do you happen to remember me?"

"(Here we go…)" Akira thought to himself, mentally bracing himself, before turning towards her. "Well, I'd remember someone like you clearly, with that tone of yours. But you know what, I like to see if I do remember you."

"Come here…" Silene remarked, as Akira did so, before she stood up, and whispered into his ear. "Don't worry… I'll make you remember."

As Akira disappeared into the prostitute bar, the group that were tasked with escorting him, having hid themselves among the bustling crowd, even in the shade.

"So, is there any idea what's going on in there?" Nora remarked.

"I have a few ideas… But I don't know if you would want to hear them." Mayumi said.

"I think that I'd have some clue already, even if I don't want to." Tanjiro winced.

"It's the Entertainment District all over again." Sectonia said. "And here I thought there wouldn't be anyone worse than Daki."

Suddenly, a large shadowy figure burst right out of the top of the prostitute bar, and into the night sky, as the group could barely see Akira's figure being clutched under it.

"Uhhh…?" FS!Sapphire remarked upon seeing that, before she immediately got up and left to find a route to help Akira, as the rest of the group followed behind her, to act as support for the two, if things get hairy.

In the air, Sirene, in her harpy-like demon form, cackled, as Akira struggled in her claws.

"I was lonely, Amon… I was waiting such a long time for you to come to the human realm!" Sirene declared with euphoria.

As the conversation occurred, FS!Sapphire swapped to her base clothes while reaching into her coat to bring out two guns glowing with power as she started to load them.

"Well, two can play that game!" Akira exclaimed, as he began to transform. "Because I'm going to slam you right into the ground!"

"Yes, that form… Yes, you are AMON!" Sirene exclaimed.

"Too bad for you then, Sirene!" Akira exclaimed, before he then began to flex his body to break free. "Because Amon is a thing of the past… and what's right here… is DEVILMAN!"

Sirene then felt Akira slash at her talons, causing her to yelp, and drop Akira, who fell into the dark industrial maze of pipes. As he did so, FS!Sapphire smiled, aiming the dual pistols at Sirene, who was diving after Akira.

"Jackpot." FS!Sapphire smirked. "Demise and Tribulation: Sure Shot." Sapphire declared, as she fired both pistols, as it shot out like a Sniper Rifle shot, hitting Sirene almost instantly after it fired, as a massive arcane blast lit up the sky, blowing up on Sirene. "Bullseye." FS!Sapphire smirked.

"ARGH!" Sirene exclaimed, before she then began to spiral down, as she fell right into the darkness, as FS!Sapphire gave chase, reloading her guns as she did so.

Akira quickly focused his senses, as he looked around for Sirene, intent on avoiding an ambush attack from her.

Sirene quickly rose up, before she then saw Akira, before she then fired her iron talon right at Akira, who immediately sensed the attack, as he side-stepped to the right, just as the claw nicked his elbow, likely about to take his entire arm off, had he not timed his evasive action.

"Beautiful moon, if you don't want to be stained with unpleasant blood, don't look at the demon who's going to be torn apart!" Sirene roared, as the dark clouds began to wash over the full red moon like a omen.

As the battle was just starting, the group heard the sound of a motorbike engine as Akira and Sirene found themselves staring down an arcane bike made by FS!Sapphire as she was speeding towards them, Akira quickly noticed that he wasn't the target and jumped, as FS!Sapphire drop-kicked the bike right into Sirene, causing another massive arcane explosion as she twirled Demise and Tribulation, blue hi-tech revolver variants of Dante's twin guns.

"Beautiful moon indeed. To spill some blood of the damned." FS!Sapphire smirked.

"Don't worry. We'll back you guys up too." Sectonia said.

"You… You intend to stand between Amon and I!?" Sirene growled, as her expression turned into one of fury.

"Oh spare me your 'threatening' look. I've felled demons that'll make your whore ass quake in your boots." FS!Sapphire bluntly stated. "Namely a guy we like to call Asmodeus. Probably don't sound familiar but the gist is he's ten times the threat you are, at least, lady. So why not do me a favor and lie down and die so I don't have to get bloody. Or… we can choose the fun way too." FS!Sapphire smirked.

"Truly like you, Amon!" Sirene laughed. "To have such a gathering under you! But they will not deter me! You must remember, Amon! Hold me in your arms, and do it! Screw me, rough and hard as your soul!"

"Ha!" Akira barked back. "It sounds like you're really desperate, Sirene! There's only one woman that I'd truly accept that kind of request from, and that's the only one who stood by my side to the very end! And she's a full and true human! The only way I'll 'screw' you, is screwing my fist through you!"

"Shit, and I thought I had a good threatening line…" FS!Sapphire remarked, feeling upstaged.

"AMON!" Sirene growled, before she then threw her iron talon forward, as it began to rush towards the group.

"Gotcha. Breath of Thunder, Seventh Form: Lightning Swarm!" Sectonia said as lightning-imbued bees emerged from her Nichirin Blade and towards Sirene.

"Declare Spell: Lumina Sign: Spark of Heaven!" FS!Sapphire roared as piercing light beams fired from many magic circles at Sirene, each with the firepower of a Death Beam.

"To hell with you!" Simon called as he masqueraded with Alighieri, causing his sword to erupt underneath Sirene.

The three attacks hit Sirene together, as the combined force caused Sirene to be stunned hard, as the attacks rended through parts of her body, as Akira caught the iron talon, before he then impaled it right through her chest, as she gargled up blood.

"It's working. She's almost down." Nora said.

"No…she's not." Tanjiro said as they saw a quadrupedal Demon approaching. "That must be the partner."

"SIRENE!" The demon exclaimed, before a massive array of lightning began to form between his curved horns, before he then let forth a massive storm of thunder that forced the group to be split apart, to avoid getting hit by the brunt of the attack.

"I'll handle this." FS!Sapphire declared, as she saw the opportunity, as she used a barrier to block the attack. "I have you now! ARCANUM: SEAL BLOCK, ENGAGE!" FS!Sapphire declared, as suddenly, prisms coalesced around the demon and Sirene, locking them tightly within as she smiled. "I've got you right where I want you! I'll end this in ONE STRIKE!"

From FS!Sapphire's chest glowed a mighty glowing light, as the group clearly saw a blue medallion of some sort glowing, as it empowered Sapphire, as she drew a katana from her hip.

"The azure blood of my past runs through my veins! Crest of Justice, flow through me, give me strength!" FS!Sapphire declared boldly as she gained a massive blue aura. "FINAL STRIKE: CRESTFLOOD SLICE!"

FS!Sapphire proceeded to cut through the barriers, and in turn, cut through both Sirene and her partner, as FS!Sapphire slowly sheathed her blade, looking up at the two.

"Enjoy your final seconds seeing one another." FS!Sapphire declared.

"You can't be-!" Sirene exclaimed.

"Three… two… …One." FS!Sapphire declared as her blade clicked.

In a mass of yellow blood and guts, the boxes burst open, and the two demons were turned into mincemeat, splattering the entire alleyway yellow with what little remained of their bodies from FS!Sapphire's attack, as her aura faded as she reattached her sword to her hip.

(Theme end)

As the group looked at the scene, before seeing the sunrise from the horizon, Akira merely bowed his head.

"Well… you really were everything we asked for… and more." Akira chuckled.

"Mm. Merely doing my du… ty… whoo…" FS!Sapphire slurred as her knees suddenly buckled, causing her to fall backward.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Nora exclaimed, before catching the shorter girl. "Don't go dying on us now!"

"No, no… I'm fine… that strength I just used simply comes at a bit of a price. My energy is sapped a bit, that's all." FS!Sapphire explained.

"Define how much 'a bit' is." Akira said firmly.

"For the next four hours, I'll be useless." FS!Sapphire remarked. "It will take another four to be at full strength." She added, regaining her footing. "I can walk and function fine… I'll just be out of the way of the front lines."

As the group began to chat amongst each other, Akira took a look at the mutilated remains of Sirene and Kaim.

"You know… I thought I would be happy that I managed to survive this battle unbroken…" Akira remarked. "...But somehow… somehow, I feel empty in some way."

"What do you mean?" Izuku remarked, before he then thought back to how the fight ended in previous loops. "...Ah. Ah, I understand… They…they didn't have the chance to make their last stand."

"It is better that way for us." Akira sighed. "But… don't they deserve a chance to prove that even as demons with no heart and no humanity, the only thing that they haven't shed is affection? That's why I must have lost to them so many times… I was one, and they were two, bound closely not because of an irrational love… but because of a platonic connection that the both of them were willingly to go further on. Sometimes… I think that these demons of my world… even they aren't so much different to the humans we meet. In good and bad…"

"The problem is, they choose to delve into evil more than their redeeming qualities." FS!Sapphire remarked. "Hell, everyone does. Did I ever tell you guys about my brother before he got to the point and time he's at? You all would be repulsed at what you'd see. What he did. Who he used to be. …And yet somehow, Magina found a way to instill hope and a better vision for him. And now he's pulling self sacrificial moves. Selfless acts. So on and so forth, because of it." FS!Sapphire added. "And-"

"Okay, I'm gonna stop the monologuing right now." David said, before turning to Akira. "Akira, you're thinking way too much about this. I mean, yeah, they didn't get a chance to show their true colors, but don't you think that's a recipe for disaster? I mean, what you said about her before, don't you think it's for the best that she went out this way?"

"...Yeah." Akira nodded back. "Both of you have your points. I'm just… trying my best to take the best of what I've been through. Sorry for that."

"That's all anyone can ask for, Akira." David said. "For any of us."

"Gotta head back. Ryo might flip if I don't explain to him what's gone on here." Akira stated, as he turned to leave. "Don't worry, I'll tell him that the situation was handled quite cleanly and quickly, just like how he wants it."

"Alrighty then. We'll see you tomorrow, Akira." Mark said. "Here's to the good ending we'll be getting."

"Someone bring me to the nearest bed, I need sleep." FS!Sapphire groaned tiredly.

"Sure. We'll get you to a spare room on the ship. You'll love it." Nora said.

Meanwhile, 'Sister Luma' and 'Sister Eirika' had watched the battle, as they shared a look.

"Is there a reason we're here anymore?" 'Sister Eirika' asked.

"Patience. We still have our task. If Sapphire's here, there's a clear reason." 'Sister Luma' answered back. "Just because she is here… doesn't mean that we are unneeded."

"I suppose that's true." 'Sister Eirika' nodded. "We can't just assume they'll break this loop by tomorrow. Thank you for reminding me, Lumer- *ahem* Sister Luma."

"You're welcome, my friend. You're always welcome." 'Sister Luma' smiled back under her head-piece.

"Come now, Sister Eirika!" a voice said as a bearded man walked up to the two with a jovial tone. "There's no need for that kind of talk!"

"...We don't know you… who are you to call me by name…?" 'Sister Eirika' asked with a raised brow. "...Wait, oh, weren't you at the Sabbath?"

"Hmm? Oh, yes! The disguise!" the man said as he shifted into the form of Eugene Hartwin. "I came to thank you for your help, indeed I did! J-Hack and myself would never have done all that by ourselves!"

"It was nothing." 'Sister Luma' smiled sweetly with a giggle, before it then faded slightly. "...Hopefully, what we have done there might push things for the others to a better future."

"I'm sure it did." Hartwin said. "The boy…it may be long before he wakes up, but…his fate could have been worse. And many others were spared a grizzly demise."

"He is thankful I had Nosferatu on hand to rid him of all evil from his soul. Now he has a chance to live a proper life." 'Sister Eirika' responded.

"Steps have been taken to secure a better outcome. And yet!" Hartwin declared, raising a tentacle. "I feel that something is coming. Something beyond any of us. And…there may be only… only one way to resolve this."

"Seriously?" 'Sister Eirika' asked.

"That is dire news… will we be able to use these disguises much longer…?" 'Sister Luma' pondered aloud.

"Hmm…you should keep them a while longer, I think." Hartwin said. "As for me…I must lay the groundwork for a final gambit. To save this world, I must gather several things. For only one way may be capable of bringing about a happy ending."

"We wish you best, Eugene." 'Sister Eirika' bowed.

"Indeed." 'Sister Luma' agreed. "May we bring peace… and a future to this timeline.'

"We can only hope. Now…I must be off! Farewell for now!" Hartwin declared as he floated away into the sky, humming 'Moving Right Along' to himself as he did so.

"Let us lay in wait. We don't have much time to wait around." 'Sister Eirika' declared, as 'Sister Luma' nodded, and they left the area.

Thus, the sun set on the final day. Tomorrow…would be the day that would decide this world's fate.
