Harry gave a sigh as he opened the front door to the apartment that he shared with his muggle girlfriend, a thirty-three-year-old woman who went by the name of Rory Gilmore.
Rory was a pretty woman and four years younger than Harry. She had long brown hair, blue eyes, and she loved to read. Rory and Harry had met five years ago at Luke's Diner and had just clicked. Harry found it incredibly easy to talk to the woman; she was pretty, intelligent, funny, nice and he always enjoyed their movie nights.
They had now been dating for three years now, and recently moved into an apartment in Stars Hollow together. For a while, Harry had thought that things between them had been great, he had even planned to propose to her.
That was until now… when he had noticed that Rory had lately been acting really distant with him for the past month. She would ignore him quite a lot, would stand him up when they did have date plans, and they rarely had sex anymore. Harry didn't get to see her as much as he used to.
Harry kept on telling himself that maybe Rory was just spending time with Lorelai, visiting one of her friends, or maybe she was out of the house so often because of her job.
Harry was worried that something was wrong. He felt worried that he had done something or that something bad had happened to make Rory treat him the way she had been.
Harry was thinking of what they could have for dinner when he walked further into their home only to find Rory on their couch making out with Logan Huntzberger.
Harry had met Logan before and knew he was a close friend of Rory's from the past. She had only recently reconnected with Logan and though he didn't know the man as well as Rory did, Harry had thought that Logan was a pretty decent guy.
At least until now he had. He wasn't sure he could think that of Logan now that Huntzberger currently had a tongue in his girlfriend's mouth and holding her close to him.
Harry stared at the sight before him, feeling betrayed, hurt, and angry as he stood there in shock. An angry expression made its way upon his face before moments later he spoke.
"What's going on here?"
Logan and Rory quickly removed their hands from each other and separated.
Rory looked to Harry in annoyance and surprise, while Logan had the decency to look at Harry with a confused and panicked frown.
"You and Rory are still together?" Logan asked.
"Yes, she's been really distant with me lately but yeah, we're together as far as I know"
"Oh…shit…sorry…that wasn't what she told me, oh…um..I'll go and let you guys talk," said Logan.
"Thanks, Logan," said Harry.
Logan got up and soon left the apartment.
Once Logan was gone, Harry glared at his girlfriend and asked, "Was this the first time you've cheated on me with Logan?"
Rory gave a sigh and replied, "No…it isn't…I've…been…with Logan for months now."
"We should break up then," said Harry.
Rory looked at Harry, "No..no…No!" said Rory angrily. "I..I don't want that! I want to be with you, Harry. I love you"
Harry gave an angry and frustrated sigh before saying, "Well, you have a terrible way of showing it and after this, well I don't think I can be with you anymore."
"But…But I want to be with you..I've…just…I've made a mistake…please can't you just forgive me? I do love you, I swear I do!"
"No, Rory…I'm sorry but no. Pack up your things, go back to your mother's place if you want or even…even go back to Logan like you want so much…If he'll have you again."
Rory seemed like she wanted to argue some more, not wanting their relationship to end, but Harry wasn't going to forgive her for hurting him the way that she had.
Rory was gone by the end of the week, all her things gone. Harry was still heartbroken by the cheating and he still loved Rory, but he was sure that he had done the right thing.
