As we surged forward on Nebby's back, I could feel the tension in the air thickening with every passing moment. Lusamine's desperation was palpable, her actions growing more erratic as she summoned boulders to shield herself from our pursuit. But Nebby was relentless, smashing through the barriers with raw power and determination.

Lusamine's voice rang out, sharp and commanding, demanding that we halt our advance. But we couldn't afford to back down now, not when we were so close to putting an end to her dangerous obsession. Suddenly, Lusamine released a pulse of energy into the air, causing the surroundings to tremble ominously. It was a desperate attempt to hinder our progress, but we pressed on, undeterred by her efforts to stop us.

As we finally caught up to her, Lusamine unleashed her final gambit—a lake of poisonous liquid that spread out before us, blocking our path. Yet, even in the face of such adversity, Nebby refused to falter. He simply flew over it, at a steady pace.

"I can't believe Lusamine's pulling these stunts!" Ash growled, getting angstier by the second. "First, she releases Faba, then she gets herself kidnapped, and now she's splitting us up!"

Lucario, who sat behind our trainer, nodded solemnly. "It's frustrating, indeed. Her actions seem increasingly reckless."

"Leaving Mega Pidgeot and Mega Charizard X to fend for themselves... It doesn't sit right with me." I could only agree with both of them, Lusamine was truly trying my patience.

"I know, Pikachu. But we have to stay focused. Our priority is stopping Lusamine and rescuing her from the Ultra Beasts." Ash frowned. "Though, I am half a mind to leave her to fend on her own. After all, she is finally with her precious Ultra Beasts."

Lucario and I chuckled at that, silently agreeing with his assessment, but knowing that our hands were tied. It was our duty as Ash's both Champion and Ranger Captain to save others, and us as his Pokémon were tasked with the same duty.

"Leave me alone!" Lusamine's warnings echo in the air, a surge of unease washes over us. Her desperation is palpable, her actions becoming more erratic by the minute. I exchange worried glances with Ash and Lucario, sensing the gravity of the situation.

With a wave of her hand, Lusamine conjures another wave of poisonous liquid, a lethal barrier between us and our target. Before we can react, Nebby acts swiftly once more. I feel a mix of relief and gratitude as Nebby charges across the poisonous lake, dodging Lusamine's attacks with graceful agility, I can't help but feel a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins. The air crackles with tension as we approach Lusamine, our hearts pounding in anticipation of the confrontation that awaits us.

Once we are close enough, Ash finally snaps. "Lusamine, what the heck do you think you're doing?!"

Lusamine stares back defiantly. "Stay back! You don't understand!"

"Oh, I understand perfectly! You're acting like a child, putting your own desires above the safety of your family!" Ash's voice raised with anger.

"How dare you! You have no idea what I've been through!" Lusamine lashed out defensively.

Ash ignored her protests, his tone growing more heated. "That's no excuse! You're a mother, Lusamine, supposed to protect your kids, not abandon them for some obsession!"

I winced at Ash's harsh words, surprised by his intensity. I've never seen him go off like this with anyone before, not even when Palkia and Dialga almost destroyed Alamos Town. "Damn, things just got real."

"You're a terrible mother, Lusamine!" Ash continued, with a growl. "How could you abandon your own family like this?!"

"Father, calm down!" Poor Lucario tried to help Ash, but once he gets like this there's no aiding.

Ash ignored Lucario, his voice trembling with emotion. "You've endangered us all with your selfishness and obsession! I won't let you get away with it!"

Lusamine was taken aback by Ash's fury. "You don't understand, Ash! I'm doing this for the greater good!"

Ash started shouting even louder. "The greater good?! You've lost your mind, Lusamine! You're putting everyone's lives in danger, including your own children's!"

"Well, shit. Looks like father finally let loose." Lucario muttered under his breath, a mix of frustration and disbelief.

"I won't let you get away with this! You're coming with us, whether you like it or not!" Ash's voice was trembling with emotion, his frustration boiling over. Lusamine, on her part, looked taken aback by Ash's rawness and viciousness, leaving her momentarily speechless.

Feeling a surge of determination, I leap into action, unleashing a powerful Thunderbolt and following it up with an Electro Ball aimed at Lusamine. Ash then charged forward with unwavering determination, he attempted to reach Lusamine despite the danger. "I won't let you get away with this, Lusamine!"

Lusamine reacted swiftly, she lashes out with her tentacle, knocking Ash back with a forceful blow. "Stay back, Ash! Let me be!"

Lucario watched in frustration as his attacks failed to connect with Lusamine, he gritted his teeth and launched another Aura Sphere. "Father, be careful!"

Ash gritted his teeth against the pain as he was struck by Lusamine's attacks, he refused to back down. "I won't give up, not until I've stopped you!"

"Use a Z-move!" Lucario shouted at us, as he started running towards Lusamine. "I will distract her!"

Feeling a surge of excitement and determination as Lucario distracted Lusamine, I prepare myself for Ash's command. It's been a while since we've used a Z-move in Alola. Ash gritting his teeth against the pain, he braced himself for the attack. "Now, Pikachu! Let's finish this!"

Just as I'm about to unleash the move, I notice something strange about Ash's Z-Crystal. It's sparking with an unusual energy, and its shape resembles my tail. "What the-?"

Ash then noticed the strange phenomenon; he looked down and saw the Pikashunium Z. Another interference by the Legendaries, but this time it was a welcome one. With a determined gleam in his eyes, he pressed his Z-Ring and fist-bumped me, transferring the Z-Power to me. "Let's do this, Pikachu!"

Feeling the immense power coursing through me, I put on Ash's cap and prepare to unleash the electrifying attack. I channel the Z-Power into my Thunderbolt, making it 100 times stronger. I then unleash the multicolored 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt, a dazzling display of power that lights up the sky. The air crackles with electricity as the powerful Thunderbolt surges towards the Ultra Beast, enveloping it in a brilliant yellow beam. As the dust settles, the Ultra Beast collapsed under the force of the attack, defeated by our combined strength and determination.

We rushed over to Lusamine's side, I felt a mix of relief and concern as I saw her trembling hand. We quickly pull her away from the Ultra Beast's body, hoping she's alright. I watched Nihilego flying away, I was happy but at the same time I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.

Lusamine slowly regained consciousness, she was covered in black ink and disoriented. As she woke up, she turned to Ash with a mixture of remorse and gratitude. "Ash... You were right. I should have listened to you. I'm sorry."

What is her apology worth when she had us risk our lives for her? When she traumatized and abandoned her own family? I could see Ash's rage mounting and he looked ready to unleash his scolding on her. Luckily, Lusamine was saved as Rose, Rodrick, Josh, and Sarah rushed over to where we were. I felt a sense of relief wash over me when I noticed that they were all unharmed. It was good to see them safe and sound.

"Captain!" Rodrick called out with a beaming smile. "Lusamine's Pokémon have snapped out of the Ultra Beast's control!"

I turn my attention behind them and spotted Mega Pidgeot and Mega Charizard X flying in the distance, being followed by Lusamine's Pokémon. It's a strange sight, seeing them all together like that, but I'm grateful that they're safe and back to their senses. I turned to Mega Pidgeot and Mega Charizard X, I can't help but be curious about their battles. After all, we've all been through quite the ordeal. "Hey, how did your battles go?"

Mega Charizard X puffed out his chest proudly, he responded with a confident grin. "Piece of cake! No fairy can stand up to the might of my flames."

"I was busy dealing with Lusamine's Pokémon, but I caught a glimpse of your Z-move, Pikachu. It was quite a spectacle. Impressive work." Mega Pidgeot tilted her head gracefully.

I felt a swell of pride at Mega Pidgeot's words, I can't help but smile. "Thanks, Pidgeot. I'm glad you liked it."

Lusamine finally looked around at all of us, a guilty expression crossed her face. "I am in big trouble, aren't I?" She says softly. I can sense the sincerity in her voice, and part of me can't help but feel sorry for her.

But then Ash, in his usual deadpan manner, responded. His words are sharp, but there's a hint of sarcasm in them. "You think?"
