Hello, everyone. I know, it's been a long while since I have uploaded a chapter to this fanfic, but I have an announcement to make here.
I have been held back on ideas for how to forward this fanfic for three reasons. #1: I seem to have misinterpreted Beetlejuice lore. #2: I didn't have enough information about the Hazbin Hotel characters and that they're like, especially Husk and Niffty, who only appeared in the pilot for a couple of short minutes. And #3: I had no idea about the spicifics on how a hotel's supposed to rehabilitate people.
With all that in mind, I decided to wait until the official series moves forward, and thankfully, it did. Thanks to Amazon Prime, we have an actual official series which expands more lore than I could have imagined.
Because the show brings up more details and plotpoints that contradict certain things in this current fanfic, I have decided to cancel it. BUT... Don't worry. It's not like I've given up on it. I really enjoy the idea of Beetlejuice in the Hazbin Hotel world, so instead of continuing the story, I have decided to start it all over again, remaking the whole fanfic.
I hope everyone understands, and I promise to add a bit more story and plot in the redux of Beetlejuice Checks In, which I'll start some time after the Hazbin Hotel season 1 is over, probably a week or two afterwards.
