Later that night, the Lotus Ninjas sprinted across the building rooftops. This time, they are wearing their official kunoichi attires: Lee wore a cold-shoulder blue leotard where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, tight black leggings, and dark blue knee-high, high-heeled boots. Ella wore a cold-shoulder red leotard where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, tight black leggings, and dark red high-heeled boots that go just past her ankles. Donna wore a cold-shoulder purple leotard where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, tight black leggings, and dark purple high-heeled, shin-high boots. And Ellie wore a cold-shoulder orange leotard where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, tight black leggings, and dark orange ankle-high boots.

After jumping on each building with flexible flips and cartwheels, the Lotus Ninjas stopped on the last building and looked over the city.

"The night's still young, girls." Lee said. She turned to Donna. "Donna, girl time events. Stat."

"Way ahead of ya." Donna nodded.

Donna took out her phone and started searching for the night's opening events going on around town.

"I wonder what's out today." Lee said. "Last week we went to the food trucks at Central Park. The week before that we went to a Nicki Minaj concert."

"Oh, I'm so glad we went to that concert." Ella grinned. "Nicki's my girl. Her rapping style and vocal delivery are off the hook."

"She's cool, but Da Brat is my favorite female rapper." Ellie said.

"Missy Elliott for me." Lee said.

"Lisa Lopes from TLC." Donna added as she kept checking her phone. She then grew an excited smile. "Hey, check it out. There's an outdoor movie night in Dumbo."

"What movie is it?" Lee asked.

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Donna replied.

"That 80s movie? I prefer The Goonies better." Ellie said.

"Same." Donna, Lee, and Ella agreed.

"Oh, there's a free medium two-topping pizza event at Di Fara." Donna smiled, looking back at her phone.

"Nice!" Ella grinned.

"That pizza joint is the best!" Ellie said.

"Let's go." Lee said. "It's a lifetime opportunity and I'm not missing it."

"You said it." Ella agreed.

Donna, Ella, Ellie, and Lee started leaping and sprinting across the building rooftops to their destination.

At Di Fara, the Lotus Ninjas munched their pizza slices and glued to their phones at the same time. To them, Di Fara is one of the best pizza restaurants in Brooklyn's Midwood neighborhood. Ellie's eyes wandered from her pizza to the customers enjoying their meal and hanging out together. A young adult put his arm around his girlfriend. Two jocks tossed a football back and forth while one jock was sipping his soda. And two girls started taking selfies together.

"Okay, favorite anime." Ellie spoke.

"Oh, easy. Attack on Titan, Cyberpunk Edgerunner, and My Hero Academia, for sure." Donna said.

"Oshi no Ko Idol, Sailor Moon, and Demon Slayer for me." Lee answered.

"Soul Eater, Chainsaw Man, One Punch Man, and Kill la Kill." Ella responded.

"Alright, alright, not bad." Ellie said. "But I'm all about Dragon Ball Super, Spy x Family, and Pokemon."

"I'm getting a refill on my soda." Ella said as she got up from her chair.

"Me too." Lee said, standing up from her seat.

Ella and Lee walked up to the Coca-Cola freestyle machine, pressing their choice of drinks on the touchscreen and refilling their cups all the way to the top.

"Dude, that's my phone! Give it back!"

Lee and Ella turned their heads to see Ellie trying to reach for her phone from a muscular jock.

"But don't worry, I'll give you your phone back. If you ask your sister Leona to go on a date with me." The school jock said.

"Are you for real?" Lee snapped as she and Ella walked up towards the jock. "That's not gonna happen, Blake."

"Oh, come on, Leona." Blake said. "Just one date. How about you and I take a stroll under the…?"

"Not. Gonna. Happen." Lee said. "If I say no, then my answer is a no."

Ella snatched Ellie's phone from Blake's hand and gave it back to her youngest sister.

"Come on, girls." Ella said to Donna and Ellie. "Let's roll."

Lee and Ella walked past Blake. Donna and Ellie stood up from their seats before following after their older sisters.

"Hey! Leona!"

Someone grabbed Lee's left arm and pulled her back. It was Larisa, the school's mean girl. Behind her stood her cronies, Regina and Clara. They placed their hands on their hips triumphantly.

"Lee!" Ella, Donna, and Ellie exclaimed.

"Where do you think you're going?" Larisa demanded.

"If I recall, my sisters and I are leaving." Lee answered.

"Not without this." Larisa fumed as she shot Lee a nasty look.

Larisa then took Lee's bracelet off her arm.

"Larisa, give it back!" Lee demanded.

"It's cute." Larisa said, examining Lee's bracelet in her hand. She looked back at Lee. "But first, you're gonna explain why you're talking to my boyfriend."

"Oh please." Lee snorted patiently. "You and Blake broke up, remember? I don't need to be a psychic to know that relationship will last forever."

"I'm warning you, Leona." Larisa snarled threateningly. "Flirting with him again and you're gonna be sorry. Just wait and see."

"You're welcome to try." Lee said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Besides, Blake's not even my type. Now, hand over my bracelet."

"Give this back to you? Not a chance." Larisa said, placing Lee's bracelet on her left arm. "It's way too cute to be worn for someone like you."

"I'm not kidding. This bracelet is very important to me." Lee said. "My mother made it for me when I was a kid and I want it back."

"Aww, your mom made it for you?" Larisa mocked. She and her friends began laughing hysterically. "No wonder you and your sisters are pathetic losers."

Lee narrowed her eyes. She could feel her face heating up. She clenched her hands into tight fists as Larisa's laughter kept spiking her rage.

Suddenly, the soda machine started to shake and randomly jolted and fizzed out of control. Larisa turned to the soda machine with confusion, but she screamed in realization. But it was too late as the machine exploded soda right over the three mean girls, leaving them completely drenched in massive soda stains.

Larisa screamed angrily as everyone began to laugh at her and her cronies.

Lee then snatched her bracelet off from Larisa's arm.

"I'll be taking my bracelet back." Lee said.

"Come on, Lee. Let's go." Ella said.

Ella, Donna, and Ellie hustled their oldest sister out of the restaurant.

Ellie took a last look at Larisa and her cronies whining about their expensive outfits being drenched in soda stains. She took out her phone and snapped a picture. She stared at it for a moment and followed her sisters.
