Chapter 1: go ninja, go ninja go

Hey guys/girls/others, it's Mario and sonic pals here with another fanfic (that I'm working on while also working on Canterlot Avengers: Endgame). I got inspired to do this particular fanfic after watching Ninjago masters of Spinjitzu, which is now my favorite show and Lego brand. This story takes place in between Canterlot Avengers: Infinity War and Canterlot Avengers: Endgame, which is why I'm choosing to release this fanfic first. Anyways, with this out of the way I'm throwing out the usual disclaimer.

Disclaimer: I do not own Lego Ninjago nor its characters, they are all owned by the Lego corporation. I only own Hector because he's my OC. I also do not own any song or the lyrics to the song that might be featured, some lyrics might be changed. If the song is a parody then I don't own the song it's based on. Anyways, enjoy.

It's been six weeks since the Canterlot Avengers defeated Megatron, and so far they have gone their separate ways for the summer. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle were married in Wakanda, Rumble began running his brother's company, and Cartman is trying to find a cure to his anger problems.

As for Hector and Apple Bloom, they decided to live normal lives in their hometown of Canterlot, mourning the loss of their beloved family members.

Today was a sunny day in Canterlot City, and Hector was in his backyard playing with his Lego Ninjago City play set. He played with it in the backyard because it made it look like an island. While Hector was playing with his Legos, he didn't forget that his loved ones were now gone.

"Man, why did the snap ever happen? At least my Legos keep me occupied," said Hector. Just then, he heard a peculiar sound from behind his fence. "The hell was that? I'd better check it out. It's a good thing my fence has a door that leads to the mountains beyond Canterlot."

He then texted his mom (saying he was going to be outside just in case), and made haste to the mountains. Once he was there, he found a cave with a large red glow. As he got closer, he noticed the glow was coming from a red, transparent rock. "What is that?" asked Hector.

"Touch the rock," said a whispering voice. "Touch the rock."

"I feel like I should touch that rock for some reason," said Hector, as he got closer to the rock. The closer he got, the more tempted he became. And then… he touched it. Suddenly, a large blue aura surrounded him and he was suddenly turned into a blue, misty fog.

And just like that, he was gone.

Somewhere, above another city…

Hector was falling in what seemed like an endless void, screaming all the way down. He suddenly felt like his body was changing into a new form, but he shrugged it off. When he realized that the void had an opening, he was transported into a world that looked strangely familiar for some reason.

He didn't realize that he was heading for the rooftop of a building until he was too late, resulting in him getting a mild concussion.

Once Hector gained consciousness, he realized that he was inside some sort of warehouse with giant mechs. "Woah, cool. They look just like the mechs I made for…" said Hector, before he looked at his hands, which were now the claws of a Lego minifigure. "What the…?"

Suddenly, Hector was ambushed by what appeared to be ninjas. "Stop right there, who are you? And how did you get in here?" said the ninja with green eyes.

"Don't worry, I don't mean any harm. I just blasted in from the roof," said Hector. "I come in peace… unless this is a dream."

"Maybe he's an alien that fell off his ship," said the blue ninja.

"Come on, that's ridiculous. He doesn't even have green skin," said the red ninja. "Besides, maybe he doesn't know our names."

"Of course I know your names, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, and Nya," said Hector, shocking all the ninjas. "What? I recognized your suits."

"Are you some kind of stalker super fan?" asked Nya.

"No, I swear," said Hector. Suddenly, they all heard flute music. "Where is that music coming from?"

The ninjas and Hector looked outside of the warehouse, where they saw the Destiny bounty. "Hey, Master Wu is back," said Nya, as Master Wu got off the Bounty.

"Greetings my students," said Master Wu. "I am back from my spiritual journey."

"Your Tanlines say it all," said Cole.

"Don't judge me!" said Master Wu. He then noticed Hector. "Who is this?"

"My name is Hector Parker, I got in here by falling through the roof," said Hector.

"I see, and how did you get on the roof in the first place?" asked Master Wu.

"Well can we discuss this over some pizza," said Hector.

One pizza montage later…

"… and then, out of curiosity, I touched the red rock and the next thing I knew, I was falling into Ninjago City. So that's how I ended up falling through the roof," said Hector, finishing up his story.

"Wow, I can't believe that rock transported you here," said Jay.

"I still can't believe that we exist in his world in the form of construction toys," said Lloyd. He then faced Master Wu. "So how do we get him back home, Master Wu."

"This is something beyond my knowledge, my nephew. I will have to do some research tonight and see what I can find," said Master Wu. "In the meantime, Hector will have to stay in our world until we find a way for him to get home."

"Well then where am I going to sleep?" asked Hector.

"You can sleep at our house," said Nya.

"Yeah, we have a guest room, just in case," said Kai.

"Thanks, I really appreciate it," said Hector. Once the whole pizza time was over, Kai and Nya walked with Hector to their family apartment (which makes sense since they're in a city). "Wow, nice place you got here."

"Yeah, our parents are always working so it's mostly me and Nya by ourselves," said Kai. "The guest room is just down the hall."

"Thanks guys," said Hector, as he went to the guest room. Once it was bedtime, Hector began to doze off. As he slept through the night, he dreamed about what would happen the next day, hopefully something epic.

Oh boy, if only Hector understood what city he was in. Anyways, this is only the start of Ninjago on this account. Also I should mention this, the characters have their designs from the movie because this is also a retelling of The Lego Ninjago Movie's events. I'll start working on chapter two and until then, see ya later guys/girls/others.
