My eyes opened and again I was back in the shadows of a mirror that looked back at me, same as last time, it was lit though with lightbulbs like in that changing room where Jessica and I were at where I tried the dress, then it occurred to me what I was seeing was my innerself, I looked around the place and when I viewed the mirror the creature was back again, like before a creature as tall as me, with a black skull head and horns, it was covered in white skin like my own I didnt understand what it was but its deep red eyes glistened at me and It reached out for me and its silver clawed hand like talons reached forward and therefore I reached in and touched the mirror and when we both touched it the mirror rippled like a puddle and when I went in it went out and it said in my mind. "You are me…and I am you" and it grabbed my wrist and quite quickly pulled me through the mirror.
My eyes opened and I woke with startle and a deep involuntary breath and I was on the hard ground, covered in dirt we went from Rain and water and lightning to dust, wind, and heat. The wind blowing slightly as I coughed and climbed to my feet and dusted the dirt off my pants, I looked over to Kali who was about this time to get on her feet and we both looked at each other. "Sis what are we in for now?" I asked and she shook her head back and forth "Honestly it must have something to do with that?" and we both looked at the the massive torture device that was as large as a skyscraper made of gears. I blinked and looked over at it and suddenly I heard the cackling of someone in the shadows I didnt see who it was but we both sensed energy flying towards us I gasped and hit the deck with Kali and she called out something along the lines of "Oh fuck Selena get off me damn it what get off NOW" and I got up and pulled out my soul pistols and positioned and fired it at the shadows and cursed. "Lets go Kali" and I literally picked her up off the ground and onto her feet and I immediately started to run into the massive contraction along with Kali, and all I heard was gears whirling around me the smell of iron which I couldnt tell was either blood or oil. I sighed and walked through the shadows of the flames that exploded out of the metal and I heard screaming and that same cackling as before where was that coming from? "Sister why are we blindly running into the shadows? We dont have Dante nor Virgil with us" and I nodded at her. "But someone was clearly firing at us and I want to know who and why? Thats when Kali ripped her grip from me and smacked me no backfisted in the face and I backed up because even with my endurance she had some power and I fell to the floor on my back, the first time I think she ever swung on me and I looked at her, shocked. As I walked forward into the main body I looked around, there was a massive conveyer belt that was leading into the the smasher and there was some stairs it looked like it went intothe shadows and there were holes above in the upper walls, the question was where do I go? The sound of cranking coming from the machines. I walked over to the wall and there was Spears,halberts, guns, knives with gleaming handles I walked over and reached my hands around the handle of the bastard sword that was stuck in a stone that had my name on it and when I pulled it out I cursed and dropped the sword as my hand started to glow that made my eyes widen "what the?" I walked around the room as the smashers came together heavy and fast and nearly claimed me in that moment and there was only mirrors and I was shocked as I saw a curtain and a large mirror and from the inside I heard "hey" come from everywhere and yet I didnt see anything, it was dark until I stepped over to it and when I turned on the light my mental nightmare became real the creature of my dreams A massive creature my size(about 5'7) black skin white skull with a massive sword in hand stepped out of the mirror and it said ""You are me…and I am you" then it stepped forward slowly and cried out in loud shriek like sound it stepped forward towards me with glowing red eyes it said "I know what lies in your lusting heart..you cant hide your own wants you want love you wnat paradise you want…." and it slowly shifted into..Kali. It sounded like a deep throated chuckle and it blinked if thats what it looked liked it did with its still bone white deer skull and smll black petite body she looks like she was in highschool or middle school girl . It said "Sister..I cant see where are you?" my eyes widened It spoke like Kaliya I recognized this creature it was a wendigo A windigo (or wendigo) is a supernatural being belonging to the spiritual traditions of Algonquian-speaking First Nations in North America. Could it be her afterall? I widened my eyes and looked back at the direction of the other and now I definitely worried if it was her what if she died as soon as she entered? I dodged to the side and unsheathed my blutinferne katana and slashed my own arm causing blood to coat the blade and grow an aura around it just before I let blood flow out of my arm into a massive solid metal halbert and clashed swords with the creature that sent me flying back good couple of feet skidding and landing it on the floor, the halbert dropped from my hand it cried out "Hey Selena…why are you fighting me? isnt this your sword? dont you want it back? dont fight me dont you recognize me? werent you going to help get us through hell?" It growled at me and It swung her sword again at me and I reached up and grabbed my halbert and blocked it with my halbert the sword blade hitting the notch in between the double sized axe blade end and it bounced off me and snarled at me and it said "dont fight me Selena..I promise I wont hurt you" I then climbed to my feet and pointed my sword at it, leaving the halbert to turn back into the blood it was. "Dont use my sisters voice" and after it made a harsh beastly cry it again started to take a different form and within moments SHE had become my oldest brother Caleb I could tell based on the tall lean form he was now 5'11 and rushed at me it occurred to me this creature is a using mimicry and I swung up my own sword and a carved a large gash in its chest as It backed up and swung at me again It said "Selena arent you trying to save me..stop your hurting me please its me caleb night" and I tried to steel mysefl this time it could be him because I dont know what Ciaran is dealing with it "I dont know him as Caleb..I see him as Ciaran" I looked over at the steam roller that went back up and Took a voluntary breath and dodged to the side as it growled at me and once again swung at me this time getting a good slash up my chest blood sprayed and I reached down . "But Selena, you dont recognize me its me your brother…how could you not regonize my voice?" and it cackled again and swung and I leaped as I swing my katana at the creature and it ran forward at me and slammed its shoulder into me and I back up and again and it leaped at me and swung its sword at me again and I ran at it and leaped and aimed kick into its face and the skull cracked slightly as it fell back afew steps and it walked forward taking afew more steps, it was a hard fighter thats when I knee I had no choice I removed my right glove and once he leaped at me ina fiit of bloodlust and rage I reached out and as it brought its sword above its head and towards me to finish me my midas touch turned it into solid gold with the sound of cracking and as it was spidering up and around the creature the last thing it said "I… Did it… for…. You…" and like that the dark red light in his eyes died away in place of solid gold… I sighed and fell back on the floor, blinking slightly . I then in a fit of adrenaline leaped at it in a high jump kick that made the creature slide acouple of inches leave me falling to the hard ground, my back and shoulders colliding with the ground because of gravity, as my wounds scream at me. As did I. Like red alert my body saying "you idiot why did you just drop onto the floor with your wounds your injured and you need to time to heal" I looked up at the chandelier of the room when my body gave me break to subside my pain and I gave a depressed sigh and got back up on my feet and winced again "I have to remember…that even as strong as I am…I cant destroy a solid gold monster with a kick.." I said looking around and sighing "who am I talking to? ow man that hurt" as I Iooked back at the creature that was turned into solid gold with annoyance and disdain I pulled out my gun and said " this pain is your fault so heres a lesson Never make fun of my family or my friends " I pulled the trigger blasting a huge beam of energy into the creature that forced it flyin into the the doorway door smashers.. that crushed and smashed it into a black bloody pulp and shattered pieces of gold and bone. I dropped on the floor taking a voluntary breath as I still wasnt able to deal with the pain properly even for me and looked forward "gotta say that was a challenge…ouch" I said out loud then pointed my gun at the mirror and growled. "You wont have a chance to do that again" and I pulled the trigger on the massive revolvers and once again a beam of radiation energy of fire and lightning and dark matter struck the mirror and raidated so much energy that it disintegrated the mirror…..ending that fear once and for all. I took a deep breath and dropped onto the floor and leaned again the wall of the room and winced from the pain of being cut up pretty good by the creature's sword after a couple of minutes of riding in pain of the front of my chest and side being slashed up I got up on my feet from the ground and slipped my hand into the glove and walked over to the last room and it wouldnt open huh? I tried again and I could hear..music? I slammed on the door and finally I hit the door with my foot and when it flew open what I saw my brain skipped…and not to mention my heart it was a white haired male with caramel skin tight shirt, tight jean shorts, working on a motorcycle with tats I was shocked and alittle turned on I'll admit, the music was literally ALL THAT REMAINS I blinked. "Uhhh…hello?" I called and I heard the voice say "that door wasnt locked, but you already found a way in" and I blinked, but put my sword at him. "You….your…uhh" and He blinked and turned away from me and kept cranking on his bike. "Oh no keep going IM just working on my bike" and I blinked and pointed my katana at him. "Get up from the bike and face me…uhh" Thats when I heard a stop to the wrench and the music stop. Thats when I heard a scraping sound as this…individual scraped a golden dagger along the blade of my katana and it rased up slightly taller than me and I was shocked no one bur Ciaran was taller than me. "Its Mammon, I'm the emperor of greed and you are not in the position to order me around when you barged into my place where I am working on my bike" and I blinked for the fifth time. "No I want to know where my sister is and how I get into the next level?" he sighed and turned away from me and started to walk from the bike and I pointed my gun at him, but he just stopped the music and turned to me. I dont have anything that will benefit greed" and he closed his eyes, "hmm..you know what I think theres something I want…but you have to give it freely" I blinked and he gently pulled down my zipper on my jacket and I blinked "whoa you dont want that, I'll turn you to gold…" and he smirked before walking over to the counter where the slight light was on it reminded me of a garage and he came back to me with a potion it was..silver colored "Here it will fix the midas curse.." and when I reached out to him he pulled back . "ah ah what do I get?" and I blinked slightly and again he played with my zipper and I blinked. "You want to give me to…" and I shook my head "No I mean no…yes…" wait what? He smirked. "No yes maybe what will it be boys and girls?" he said smirking and shaking the spiral of the potion. "This deal is limited time I can always sent three more wendigo after you…I'm giving you the chance to get rid of the midas touch and pass on…bonus if I tell you where your sister is? " I scowled and thought back to Kali is she alive? I sighed "give me passage give me the midas antidote tell me where my sister is AND allow her safe passage over.." I was still quiet and I was quiet for the longest time while Mammon just stared at me and finally I let my deep green eyes resting on him and I said "If youve been watching us you have to see by now that we'll go to the ends of the earth for our goals" and I took teh blunt from his hand and sucked on it deep and blew the smoke out at him. he smirked and thats when he forced me againt the wall and opened the potion and said "open wide" and I coudnt believe I was going to do this, I opened my mouth and he poured the potion down my throat it had a taste like blueberry vanilla. When the liquid was gone I leaned up and kissed him and he kissed me after that I think I passed out from being crossfaded the drink, the weed, I lost senses like in a dream…
