Author's Note: Yeah, I know, I 'm breaking one of rules I had for myself 'not doing any shipping unless they're cannon', but I figured that I needed to get out my comfort zone and the show gave me a few ammos to work with.

Besides, Valentines is coming up, so what prefect time to write something like this?

Huey Duck sat on a long, around the fire pit, while his fellow Wood Chucks was sitting and talking about how they were going to go about the month's events. He panted in silent, not really paying attention to what was being said, though he knew he should. His stomach done flip-flops as he felt his body freeze and his pounded even when some of the quieter Wood Chucks' turn to talk. Why did this happen to him of all people?

"I think we should..." his friend, Boyd said with his usual smile on his face.

Huey would have normally love to hear his friend talk about what they should do, but right now, at this moment, he couldn't. His heart didn't race nor any desire to look into Boyd's attractive face. He just wanted to be like his brother Louie at that moment, hiding underneath some covers, and go to bed.

In short, he was beat, and he didn't much today, yet he felt like he did a marathon as he woken up this morning.

"Huey are you okay?" He heard his friend asked.

The duckling peered up to see all eyes were now on him and looking concerned.

"Yeah," He replied, trying to sound like there's nothing wrong with him, as he slowly gotten up. "just have to go the restroom."

It at this moment, that Huey walked away from the fire pit.

He made it a bit of a distance, though it felt more like a mile or two long, before he started to feel his breakfast making its return. Faster than saying the word 'go', he could no longer hold it in. Falling to knees and hands, the duckling let out all of his undigested food out.

After the duckling released some of his stomach contents, he felt a hand being placed on his back before the hand rubbed his back in gentle circles, making the blowing out food part go more smoothly. If someone called out to him, he didn't hear.

As soon as the last drop of undigested food was breathed out, he stayed like that for a tad, panting.

"Sorry Huey, I should have stopped you from going off. I 'm a terrible friend." He heard his friend's voice popped up through the pants.

"It's fine." Uttered in tried voice, struggling to keep his eye lids opened. "You're a great friend and you'll make a great boyfriend. I love you in romantic sense."

He didn't know why he basically confess being in love with his friend, but he didn't care. Nothing mattered after he collapsed to his side falling into, what he thought was Boyd's arm and closed his eyes, drifting off into silence.

Hours later, Boyd was looking into Huey's and his brother's room to see his friend's mom, Della sitting next to the bed where he placed said friend after taking him home and accepting Launchpad's offer to drive them there.

To top it all off, his friend confessed that he was romantically interested in him. What was he going to do and how is he going tell Della and the rest of his friend's family about Huey's reveal? He didn't want to disappoint anyone.

"Mom?" The parrot boy heard his friend called out in a soft and tired tone.

"Yes honey, how do feel?" He saw the female duck replied, while wiping Huey's forehead with a wet cloth.

Kind of reminded him of the drakes and how saw his adoptive parents took care of sick Doofus one time. He didn't have a mother before Louie gave him to the Drakes, but if he did, he would hope that she'll just like his adopted mom and Della.

"I 'm fine, where am I?"

"You're back home. Launchpad and Boyd brought you home after you collapsed to the ground from an upset stomach."

"Oh."

"It's alright, you were few degrees too high, but I brought it down in time, so now you don't have to go the hospital."

"Uh, where's Boyd?"

"Oh, he's here. Hey?" The older duck called out to him, staring at him, waving at him to come.

The parrot android hesitated a bit, not knowing what the outcome of would be, but he soon plucked up the courage like cannon balling it for the first time and went in.

As gotten up to the place where his friend was at, he uttered nervously "H-hi Huey."

"Hi. Sorry you had to see that." Huey replied with a soft smile, looking at him with tired eyes.

Boyd could see that his friend wanted to sleep but could also tell by the body langue that Huey wanted to apologize for the bit the transpire earlier today. He appreciated his friend's effort, which made him want to give him a beam despite the concerned for said friend's safety.

"It's alright, Huey. I 'am glad you're alright."

The parrot kid saw that Huey changing his soft smile to a nervous one like he had.

"Do you remember what I said back in the forest?"

Boyd shifting back into a nervous expression and feel that artificial cheeks glowing a bright red before, he replied. "Yes, I do.

At that moment, he spotted his duck friend's face getting a bit redder than before.

"Say, why don't Boyd and I go make some soup while you rest?" Della spoke up.

"Uh? Sure."

As Boyd went off with his friend's mom, leaving said friend alone, he took one last look at Huey and saw that it appeared that he was staring to fall asleep. It made him beam a tad, knowing that Huey's going to alright.
