Back at the venue, Vaggie stood in front of the long mirror as Rosie and her assistants helped her into her dress.
Vaggie stared at herself wondering how she got this far and how Alastor got his way with her. All she could do was pray that Charlie would be there soon.
Finally, Rosie zipped up Vaggie's wedding gown and said, "There you go, Vaggie. Don't you look beautiful?"
Vaggie looked at herself in the mirror. She was beautiful in the dress. She just wished it was for a wedding between her and Charlie. The dress was a 1930's style gown with white embroidered lace covering her arms, bodice, skirt, and the collar around her neck Her hair was styled into waves with a tiara and a matching veil.
At the bottom of the gown, Vaggie noticed some Aztec hieroglyphs.
Vaggie finally noticed the hieroglyphs and asked, "Why are there symbols on the gown?"
Rosie smirked and said, "Oh, just some last-minute changes."
"Whatever," Vaggie glared at Rosie and looked away.
"Well, I think you look absolutely marvelous," said Rosie.
Vaggie still looked away and refused to make eye contact with Rosie.
Rosie then took Vaggie's hand and said, "Let's tell Alastor that you're ready."
"I'd rather you didn't," Vaggie replied without looking up.
"Oh, don't feel shy, Vaggie," Rosie said with a smirk.
"I don't want to do this!" Vaggie growled.
Rosie giggled condescendingly and said, "Oh, that's just the nerves talking, my dear."
Vaggie shook her head, "No, it's my hatred! Hatred for that delusional shitlord who can't take a hint!"
Rosie narrowed her eyes and said, "Now, now, dear, no need to be difficult."
Vaggie pulled her hand out of Rosie's grasp and yelled, "You're the ones forcing me to do this! I don't want to be here! I never asked for any of this!"
Rosie flashed a wicked smile and asked, "Vaggie, do I need to tell Alastor that you're being uncooperative?"
"Tell him what you want! I don't care!" cried Vaggie. "You already sent Angel away! I got nothing to lose now!"
"Throwing a temper tantrum won't do you any good, Vaggie," sneered Rosie.
Vaggie smirked, picked the tiara out of her hair, and threw it on the ground.
"Oh, I think it'll do me a ton of good," she said.
Rosie smirked back as she pulled a voodoo doll of Vaggie out of her pocket and held it firmly.
Vaggie shook her head around her hair was messed up and said, "You're not Alastor. You can't use that on me."
Then a voice came out of nowhere, "She can't, my dear. But I can through my familiars."
The radio in the room crackled to life and a dark demented shadow of Alastor appeared.
Vaggie gasped and tried to run away.
"Stay away from me, you sick freak!" cried Vaggie.
Alastor's shadow took the voodoo doll and began to manipulate the doll, forcing Vaggie back to the hair styling station.
Vaggie struggled to regain control, but it was no use.
"Stop it! Let me go!" cried Vaggie.
Alastor's shadow kept her firmly planted in the seat while the penguin familiars of Rosie began to redo her hair.
Rosie then shook her head in disappointment while looking at Vaggie and said, "Honestly, Vaggie, you should be excited. This is the most exciting day of any woman's life. I mean, most women would count themselves lucky to marry a man who can give them whatever they want. You should be happy."
"Well, I'm not!" cried Vaggie. "I don't want anything from Alastor! Mmph?"
The shadow familiar had sewed Vaggie's mouth shut.
"There," Alastor said through his shadow as it caressed her shadow. "Now, you shall remain silent until the ceremony begins."
Feeling his shadow touching hers, Vaggie began thrashing against her restraints, fighting as hard as she could to get away from these monsters ruining her life.
"Mmmmph! MMMMMPH! MMMMMMPH!" Vaggie's muffled screams yelled.
"Are you sure about opening her mouth again, Alastor?" asked Rosie. "Aren't you afraid of her yelling?"
Alastor's shadow sighed lustfully, "Of course not. It only adds to the spectacle. Besides, how else will our marriage be sealed if not with a kiss? See you soon."
With that, Alastor's shadow left.
Unable to speak, Vaggie glared at Rosie who was holding the voodoo doll and her penguin familiars while they fixed her hair.
