Sirius never got the chance to thank Rosie for what she'd done. He was carted off to St Mungo's to be rehabilitated and treated for extended exposure to Dementor's along with several other things.

Remus followed him, staying long outside regular visiting hours. Perhaps it was because the staff saw how much having him there helped. Or maybe it was because they had been ordered to take extra care of him after how the ministry had wronged him.

It didn't matter, he was just glad to have Remus by his side.

The man had cast a number of privacy spells around them before telling him what had happened while Sirius was being questioned by Alastor.

Apparently the story Rosie had spoken in court was close to what really happened. She apparently delivered a few letters to the werewolf in person before she asked for his help. Just like Sirius he received three letters Remus did as well.

One from James, one from Lily, and one from Harry.

Apparently James' also used a Blood seal on the werewolf's letter, but Rose had asked that they wait to activate it until after Court. She didn't want to shift anyone's focus from Sirius' false incarceration.

After reading the letters Rose had for him, she told Remus that she still needed to deliver another set of letters, letters to Peter.

She made him promise not to kill him, saying they needed him to get Sirius free. She knew the court wouldn't budge unless they had Peter alive.

She brought Remus to the Weasley home, where Mr. Weasley sat guarding a petrified rat in his workshop. All it took was a single look for Moony to recognize the rat.

Rose used his petrified rat hands like a letter opener, forcing the seal on Jame's letter. She read the letters addressed to Peter aloud, letting the traitor hear the last words of James and Lily.

James' letter addressed to Peter was also Blood Sealed.

"I hope she activates his." Sirius glared at his jello cup, clenching his hands till the color left them.

Remus sat on a stool next to his bed as they spoke, confusion written on his face.

"Why would you wish that?"

"It will kill him." Sirius glanced to his friend to gauge his reaction. "The Potter family magic will literally burn him from the inside out for betraying them."

Remus didn't seem opposed to the idea, but he did look slightly defeated.

"She said it was a precaution..." the werewolf sighed. "Incase he ever escapes. I didn't understand what she meant until now."

Sirius mulled over his friend's words, a sense of appreciation washed over him. The woman had thought further ahead that he had, not acting out of rage or the need for revenge.

They didn't speak anymore about it, but they both held the thought in the back of their minds.

They read the latest news reports as they came out each day, though nothing they didn't already know.

Peter was locked up in Azkaban, Sirius was proclaimed innocent. The only interesting thing they'd read was a short mention of Mad-Eye Moody arresting several other death eaters with the information they gathered from Peter's confessions. Yet somehow Lucious Malfoy again managed to avoid arrest... for now.

A guest came to greet them later that week, someone they hadn't expected to see.

Mr. Weasley along with a small red haired boy.

"Hello, sorry for the intrusion." The oddly chipper man called out, still holding the child in his arms.

"To what do we own the pleasure, Mr Weasley?" Remus called out, a quizzical look on his face.

"Please, call me Arthur. After what we've been through I think that's more appropriate."

"Very well, but only if you do the same."

"Thank you Remus, I look forward to getting to know you." Arthur smiled widely, "Now under better circumstances."

"Indeed. Please, call me Sirius." The man nodded to the red head, "I owe you quite al ot for helping me out Arthur."

The redheaded man waved off Sirius' comment, shaking his head.

"Poppycock, helping you was only right. I can't believe they threw you in Azkaban without a trial, absolutely appalling." He scoffed. "We owe Remus for coming to aid us with that pesky rodent! Percy is still terribly torn up about it, but Rosie managed to calm him down for the most part the other day. I still can't believe he was living with us, right under our noses!"

Both other men's ears perked up at the mention of the red headed woman. She had changed their lives but hadn't shown herself this whole time. To say Sirius was ready to ask her a thousand questions would be an understatement.

"How is Rose, I haven't seen her since the trial." Sirius leaned forward slightly as he spoke.

Mr. Weasley stilled, quickly looking around the room as if someone might have been listening. The two younger men watched him, Remus quickly pulling out his wand to recast the privacy spells.

Arthur looked instantly more at peace, coming closer to the bed.

"We haven't seen much of her, only stopping in for a quick moment before dashing off again." He spoke in a hushed voice even with the magic at work. "She did ask me to check in on you guys though. Said she'd be reaching out once you're healed up."

Sirius and Remus shared a look. They'd both been wondering what the woman was up to. This only made Sirius more curious, as she seemed to be working as quickly as possible. The man couldn't help but wish he recovered faster, if only to get some answers from the woman.

"Until then, I have a favor to ask." Mr. Weasley looked down at the shy boy in his arms, the one who had yet to lift his head from the man's shoulder.

"This little man has been missing Rosie a terrible something not that he'd ever say that but it's true. She said that speaking to the two of you might cheer him up."

The two marauders again shared a look.

"Harry..." Arthur softly spoke, causing the little red head to pop up off his shoulder.

Remus gasped, seeing the familiar eyes. Sirius' chest tightened, the boy looked just like James, except the hair and eyes.

"These are some friends of your Parents. The ones Rosie told you about."

Harry turned to look at the two men, his hair moving in a wild way as he moved. His green eyes glittered like emeralds as he stared at them.

"His hair..." Remus muttered.

"Muggle dye," Arthur commented. "Rosie said it was the best way to hide him, lost in a sea of Red. Grabbing him was one of the first things my gran- I mean my sister did after coming back home." The red headed man cleared his throat. "Judging by the state of him, she did the right thing."

Thousands of thoughts flitted through Sirius's mind, but he couldn't help but just stare at the boy in front of him. He was small, too small. The man's heart ached, guilt tugging at him.

"Padfoot?" The tiny voice halted the man's thoughts. "Are you my uncle padfoot?"

"Yeah..." Sirius couldn't help it, the way his voice cracked. A single tear streaked down his face. "Yeah, I'm your uncle Padfoot, kid."

The boy tilted his head to the side, looking at the other man.

"And your... You're my uncle Moony?"

Remus let out a slow breath, one he'd been holding since the child first spoke.

"That's me..." He smiled sadly. "It's nice to see you again Harry."

The small boy turned to Mr. Weasley, not saying anything more. The man set the child down on the bed letting him sit in front of his family. He stared at them hesitantly, looking from one uncle to the next.

"Hello Harry..." Sirius spoke softly, watching how the child still covered in front of them. The boy didn't speak, his lip did wobble slightly though.

"Did Miss Rosie tell you about us?" Remus prompted, again using a soft tone as to not spook the child.

Harry nodded a few times, which Sirius hoped was a good sign.

"What did Rosie say to you?" Remus again spoke.

The boy hesitated, his eyes tinged with worry.

"She..." He swallowed before looking down at the bedsheets. "Rosie said it's okay to ask for things... She asked me what I wanted for my Birthday..." he continued, holding his hands nervously.

"I-I've always wanted a good uncle..." He stared at the two men with innocent doe eyes. "So she said she'd get me two..."

Sirius couldn't hold back anymore, more tears freely slipping down his cheeks. He gently leaned forward, trying not to startle the small child.

"She did Harry," He smiled at the sweet boy.

The boy didn't move, simply staring at him.

Sirius saw the fear in his eyes, it was something he was all too familiar with. He grew up seeing the same look in his little brother's eyes, whilst probably wearing it himself. It was the look of a boy who hadn't been properly loved. A boy who wasn't allowed to be loved.

Sirius swept the boy up into his arms. Harry stiffened, obviously not used to the contact. The man just held him close, overwhelmed by the love he had for this little boy. Sirius held him carefully, but tightly. Remus joined in the hug, wrapping his arms around them both.

"Happy Birthday Harry..." The werewolf spoke softly.

Those words melted Harry's heart. He curled up against Sirius and slowly started to cry as if he hadn't in years. His cries grew louder, and neither man stopped him. He sobbed, clinging to them as if they might vanish should he let go.

The three stayed close together. Arthur simply watched the reunion somberly, eventually sitting down while Remus and Sirius spoke soothing words to Harry.

Eventually Arthur and Harry needed to leave, but Harry made both his uncles pinky promise they'd see eachother again soon. He wanted them to meet the other Weasley's, having briefly mentioned the other children.

Sirius felt both drained and rejuvenated from the interaction. The fact that Rosie saw fit to sweep the boy up concerned him. He'd gleaned a little bit about how his godson had been treated over the years, and it sufficeth to say he was not happy about it.

Regardless of his own innocence, Harry had a long list of people who should have taken custody of him. Sirius knew he'd be having plenty of words with whoever saw fit to stick the boy with Lily's blasted sister.

Ignoring that, Arthur had invited both him and Remus over to the Burrow once things were sorted with his recovery.

Harry dying his hair was inspired by another fic,

though I've been reading so many I can't recall which one it was.

I'm literally just trying to get this idea out of my head so I can work on my other story. This one was like an ear worm or something.

Still, I'm happy with it.
