When Sonic lost Sonia and Manic only a new team can join him on his adventures in the beginning.

9/4/23-2/11/24

Sonic was in the van thinking about Sonia and Manic.

He had been on a mission with Cyrus when he lost them.

Robotnik had gotten them and robotized them and when he found out he had tried to help get them back and failed.

He was on his way to the Floating Island to tell Knuckles and try and get some help.

You're gonna be somebody

When he got there he stopped and sat there for a minute then sighed and got out to be aimed at by something and used a Sonic Spin to get it.

"Calm down Knuckles it's just me!" Sonic said and Knuckles came smiling.

"Sorry about that Sonic." Knuckles said and looked around. "Where are Sonia and Manic?" he asked and Sonic shook his head.

"Gone. He got them when I was on a mission with Cyrus and roboticized them." Sonic said and looked at Knuckles. "I'm sorry."

Knuckles looked at him and gave him a hug.

"Me too. What are you gonna do now?"

"I have to stop him myself now." Sonic said shaking his head and Knuckles looked at him.

"Not alone."

"What?"

"I'm coming with you. You just lost your family and need help."

"You have the emerald to look after."

"I have Chomps and I'll check in now and then. You need me." Knuckles said smiling and Sonic smiled back.

"Then let's get to work!" Sonic said and they got in the van and were off to end Robotnik.

You'll be bigger than Mars

Two years had gone by and Sonic and Knuckles had been working together to end Robotnik.

Knuckles would go check on the emerald now and then and they learned that there are seven smaller emeralds and Sonic could use them.

They were at an island looking around right now.

Meanwhile a fox was being bullied and one bully was holding him back, while two others were looking at an invention he had made.

"No! No, please don't! Leave it alone, you guys!" he said and one of the bullies raised a large stick. "Aah! No! Keep away!" he said but the bully broke the invention anyway.

Later he was sadly carrying the broken invention. Then he saw Sonic and Knuckles stop nearby, look around, then take off again.

"Whoa, those guy's are cool! I wonder where they're going?" he said and follows after them.

Soon he was at the beach to see the Tornado parked there and climbed inside the cockpit.

"Wow, this plane looks pretty fast! But I bet I can make it even faster." he said.

Soon he was tweaking the Tornado and even repainting it. Meanwhile Sonic and Knuckles were standing behind him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Sonic asked and the fox turned round.

"Sorry, but when I see a machine, I can't help myself. I hope you don't mind I changed the engine to make it faster." the fox said.

"Hm. I like what you did with the color, too." Sonic said and looked at Knuckles. "What do you think Knux?" he asked and Knuckles nodded.

"Yeah. Looks pretty good." Knuckles said and the fox chuckled.

"Come and see what else I did." the fox said.

"So... You've been following me and Knuckles around all morning just to check out my airplane? Or is there something else you want?" Sonic asked.

"Well, you see, I like to build and repair stuff. So they all make fun of me. You guys looked cool, so I followed you, and when I found your plane, I figured I could fix it up and we could be friends! ...If you want to."

"Well, what's your name, pal?"

"Miles Prower, uhh, but my friends call me Tails."

"My name's Sonic and this is my friend Knuckles." Sonic said and Knuckles waved.

"Hey." Knuckles said.

"Nice job, Tails. We could use a mechanic and a friend."

"You mean that?" Tails asked and Sonic winked and gave him a thumbs-up while Knuckles smiled and nodded.

"You bet!"

They might walk on you now

Sonic was running through the desert when Tails and Knuckles came flying by in the Tornado 2.

"Hey look! It's Sonic!" Tails said and lowered the plane to greet Sonic." Tails said.

"Yo Tails! Long time no see!" Sonic said.

"Sonic! Check this out!" Tails said and held out a letter from Eggman.

Sonic jumped and grabbed it, then started reading it. The message is holographic as the picture of Eggman speaks it out.

"Muhahahaha!! Guess what, Sonic Heroes... I've finally developed the ultimate weapon! In three days, I'll conquer the world. Think you can stop me? Ahahahaha!!" Eggman said.

"Hmm... sounds like an invitation to party!" Sonic said.

"What are we gonna do, Sonic..." Tails asked.

"No worries, we've got this one." Knuckles said.

"Heh, think I'd miss this?! Time to crack that Eggman wide open... Yeah, let's party!" Sonic said and Tails and Knuckles jumped off the plane and followed Sonic through the desert.

A vast thunderstorm was raging in Eggman's fleet. Team Sonic, Team Dark and Team Rose converged on Neo Metal Sonic, who was standing at the top of a tower.

"Hmmhmmhmmhmm... All living things kneel before your master!" Neo Metal Sonic said and created an electrifying plume of light from his palm which blew up the tower.

Team Chaotix joined the others just in time to witness him undergo a transformation, and the teams watched on in horror. In a vortex of bright light and smoke, Neo Metal Sonic attached parts of the destroyed tower to himself and transforms into an immense metallic beast known as Metal Madness. Metal Madness let out a deafening roar.

"Metal Sonic has finally transformed!" Eggman said.

Then an enormous horde of panicked Egg Pawns made a hasty retreat to escape Metal Madness.

"So that's Metal Sonic?!" Sonic said.

"It's useless! Metal Sonic has combined your data with the power of Chaos and is super strong! We can't defeat it! Aargh... if only we had the seven Chaos Emeralds!" Eggman said.

Then Cream pulled out the yellow Emerald and showed it to him, and the others followed. Big had the purple one, Rouge had the white one, Omega had the green one, Sonic had the blue one, Espio had the red one and Charmy had the cyan one. Eggman was stunned at the sight of them.

"What's this? But how? Even with the Emeralds' power, our chances for victory are slim. It would take a miracle!" he said.

"Just leave that to me, Doc..." Sonic said.

"Sonic, no!" Amy said.

"I'm going with you, too!" Tails said.

"Tails..."

"You can count me in, too." Knuckles said.

"Knuckles..."

"Okay guys, we'll buy you some time. That way you can use your super powers." Shadow said and Team Dark, Team Rose and the Chaotix non-verbally affirmed that they'll fight in the upcoming battle.

Tails and Knuckles stood by Sonic's side, who turned in a circle to address all his comrades at once.

"Okay then, let's get ready to do this. We'll show that creep the REAL SUPER POWER of TEAM WORK!" Sonic said.

Having taken considerable damage, the furious Metal Madness flailed about and roared. Suddenly, his fingers burst off and were replaced by long, slender blades which resembled wings, making him airborne. He had transformed into Metal Overlord. With a flap of his wings, the metallic brute shot off into the skies. Team Sonic was ready for the next stage and nodded in agreement. As they placed their hands together, the Chaos Emeralds whirled rapidly around their heads. Sonic crossed his arms, closed his eyes and transformed into Super Sonic. Tails and Knuckles found themselves encased in a protective shield, levitate upwards and joined Sonic's side. Then they zoomed forward to finish Metal Overlord once and for all.

The defeated Neo Metal Sonic was crouched on the ground in hopelessness as Team Sonic rushed over to him. His body glowed white and he reverted back to ordinary Metal Sonic.

"It's no use... but why can't I defeat you?" Metal Sonic asked.

"Heh. Because... we're Sonic Heroes!" Sonic said and

Then the other three teams arrived.

"Sonic!!" Amy said.

"Anytime you want a rematch, just let me know. I'll be waiting." Sonic and zipped away with Tails and Amy running after him.

"Hey Sonic, wait up!" Tails said.

"Sorry to leave like this, but I can't let my Sonic get away!" Amy said.

"Good luck, Amy!" Cream said.

"Bye-bye!" Big said.

"Chao Chao!" Cheese said.

"Sonic sure has his hands full." Knuckles said.

"I guess I'm outta here, too. I think I'll go hunt for someone else's treasure." Rouge said and strutted away contentedly.

"She never gives up, does she?" Knuckles said and chargesd after her as she quickened her pace. "Oh no, you don't! Wait!"

"Guess that's it for this case." Vector said.

"Guess so." Espio said.

"But what about our money?" Charmy asked.

"Man, I almost forgot!" Vector said and Eggman was surreptitiously sneaking away, but the Chaotix saw him and gave chase. "That SLIME BALL!"

Omega was holding Metal Sonic in his arms. Shadow and Omega looked at each other in confusion.

Later Team Sonic was running through Seaside Hill.

"Alright! Our next adventure awaits us, so there's no time to waste! Yeah! We're SONIC HEROES!" Sonic said and his pals jumped and strike an ending pose.

But they'll walk on your star

It was night and Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were on top of a building.

"I think the signal's coming from around here." Tails said holding a circular scanning device. "Hmm... that's really weird. It looks like something's jamming the radar signal."

Then they heard shattering glass nearby and Sonic turned to the direction of the noise.

"Hmm?" Sonic said.

Higher up on another building, three figures cloaked within the night's shadows broke through a couple of windows; riding on Extreme Gears. Knuckles pointed to them.

"There! What's that?" Knuckles said.

Then an icon on Tails' handheld device focused around its digital representation of the three airborne figures.

"Sonic!! The Emerald's over there!" Tails said.

The three landed on the ground and, using their Extreme Gears, rushed off down the close-by street.

"All right! Now we're talkin'!" Sonic said and jumped off the building, spinning rapidly in the air during her descent.

Six police units were giving chase to the three figures. As Sonic landed on the ground, he braced himself to stop the Air boarders, but the one closest to him merely swerved past him. While he looked in surprise at the fleeing green rider, Knuckles dropped down behind him and punched one of the other two riders off his Gear and spiraling through the air. Tails looked at the insignia on the Extreme Gear, which depicted a lamp. The last of the three riders picked her grey companion out of the air and continued moving on without so much as pausing or breaking sequence.

"Shoot!" Knuckles said.

Then Sonic picked up the board dropped by the grey rider, then flinging it into the air, ran towards and flipped himself onto it. Quickly making it into the tunnel where the action's taking place, he weaved in and out of the cars, until catching up with the green member of the trio. They exchanged a few blows; seeing that it wasn't working, Sonic swerved around the green rider, getting ahead of him.

"Oh, not bad." Jet said.

Clearing the tunnel, Sonic looked back, but noticed that he disappeared.

"What the--?!" he said and looked up to see the competitor throttle down from the sky, Jet's speed generating an incredible amount of wind behind him.

The pseudo-shockwave from Jet's opponent's landing sent Sonic spiraling through the air.

"Hmph. So, you're supposed to be the fastest thing alive?" Jet said and rode out of view, as Storm, still hanging on to Wave's board grabbed his board out of the air.

Then Tails and Knuckles caught up to Sonic as he lifted himself off the ground.

"Oh, new competition!" Sonic said.

After another race Sonic crossed the finish line first, with Jet just a bit behind. Then Sonic stopped and turned around, right as Jet lost balance and got sent spiraling through the air.

"Even without wings, I can still fly! Right?" Sonic said and Jet hit the ground in frustration.

Meanwhile in Babylon Garden, Eggman was in front of a huge door covered with markings.

"Where are you, Eggman?!" Sonic asked and got off his board.

As he walked closer to Eggman, he reached into a bush and pulled out Amy.

"Haha! Look before you move!" Eggman said.

"Darn!" Sonic said when Jet came into view.

"Hohohoho! Now then... just be a good hedgehog and stay still." Eggman said and smirked.

Then he started to raise Jet's control box up to the door.

"Now!!" Sonic said and charged up the thrusters on his board, taking off into the air, leaving a whirlwind in his wake while Eggman shield his eyes. "Can you catch the wind?"

As Eggman opened his eyes, he saw that Sonic was gone.

"What?! Where are you?!" Eggman said.

"I'm here!" Sonic said and crashed straight down from above, sending him and Amy into another tornado.

Then he caught the control box as it flew from Eggman's grip.

"Hey, catch!" Sonic said and tossed it to Jet; who caught it.

"Wh-what?!" Jet said as Sonic landed in front of him; Tails and Knuckles next to Sonic. "Hmph! I lost. So don't play games with me. I don't want your pity, nor do I need it!" he said and handed the control box out to Sonic.

"Wha-? Are you crazy? Wave said as she and Storm walked in. "If they don't want it, then let's take it. Treasure is treasure." she said and Jet looked down, but followed them.

"Ah, I think it's time to leave now. Tails?" Sonic said.

"Yeah." Tails said and he, Sonic and Knuckles turned to leave.

"So-NIIIC?!" Amy said and Sonic looked more than a bit scared.

"Amy...?" Sonic said.

"How could you dive into Eggman knowing I was there!?" she said looking at the ground.

"Well, Amy... I thought... it'd be... okay... with you, and, uh..."

Amy looked up, glaring at him then started chasing him with her hammer.

"Sonic!! Come back HERE! AHHH!! Sonic! I won't forgive you this time!" Amy said and chased him back to Tails and Knuckles, and kept running around in circles.

A bright light shone from within it, opening the door, revealing a large chamber inside with a door on the far end. The Babylon Rogues headed towards while back outside, Amy was chasing Sonic in circles around Tails and Knuckles, but they stopped as the Babylon Guardian let out a growl.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" Babylon Guardian said.

"What!? Hmm, finally something interesting." Sonic said.

In a chamber, Jet, Wave and Storm passed through the second door into an enormous and seemingly endless corridor. As they got a ways into the passage, the Babylon Guardian growls again.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" he said and the doors started to close.

They were in the chamber, heading for the corridor.

"Look Sonic! The door's closing!" Tails sad.

"Hurry up!" Sonic said.

They made it in just as the doors shut completely. With everyone sealed in the room, the Babylon Guardian made his entrance.

"Greedy fools... Those who seek treasure will find only..." he said.

"Whoa, what's this?" Sonic said.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" the Babylon Guardian said and dissolved into light, leaving behind a treasure-chest.

Then Sonic and Jet open the chest.

"Oh, it's...!" they all said.

Then Eggman came in, pointing two guns at the group.

"Hehehehehe! Too awestruck by the treasure to notice me, eh?" Eggman said.

"Eggman!" Sonic said.

"Now hand over the treasure!" Eggman said and they exchanged laughs with each other. "W-What's so funny? Hand over the treasure right now!"

"Okay, catch!" Jet said and tossed him the treasure; a carpet.

"Hehehehehe! The Treasure of Babylon is finally mine! Huh? What iS this thing? A piece of cloth..." he said and unfold the carpet, letting a letter fall to the ground. "Let's see... Ah, this looks interesting. "At long last we've created our ultimate invention. With this, our lives will be easier, without the need to work so hard to keep ourselves flying. Stolen, the 13th leader of the Babylon Rogues..."" he read then picked up the carpet. "It's amazing! The carpet's rich texture is a sight to behold! And the way it feels is extraordinary..." he said and brushed it against his face. "Something such as this could only have been created in Babylon! Undoubtedly, this carpet will be in high demand from all around the world. But... But what's this? No way... I went to the trouble of holding the World Grand Prix for... For this..? I... I can't believe I just wasted my time for this piece of junk." he said and collapsed onto the floor from shock.

"Hmm? What's this?" Tails said and went to the carpet.

"Good eyes. Didn't think you'd spot it for a second, shorty. But you did." Wave said.

"Hey, what're you talking about?" Sonic asked.

"This, isn't just a piece of fabric."

"Right, take a look at the material. It's the same stuff we use for our Extreme Gear." Tails said.

"You don't say..." Jet said and pulled out his control box and the light inside it resonated, causing the carpet to float off the ground.

"Oh, it's..." Sonic said.

"Not sure, but maybe it's a prototype Gear..." Wave said.

"A magic carpet? I thought that those only existed in fiction."

"That's quite funny, actually. I never imagined that we Babylonians could be descendants of real genies." Jet said.

Later Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Jet, Wave and Storm were all looked out at Babylon Garden from down below.

"So, you're leaving this place?" Sonic said.

"Yeah. The back of the carpet has more words of wisdom. It says, "This was invented to allow Babylonians to travel all over the world to gather treasure." Some things never change, huh? But enough of this friendly banter, Sonic. You better make sure you're ready when we meet face to face once again." Jet said.

"You bet!"

"Come on, Jet. It's time to split." Wave said and Storm hit her on the back.

"Hey, I wanted to say that..." Storm said and Jet sighed.

"We should split, too. Right?" Tails said.

"Yeah." Sonic said.

Then Jet and Sonic tossed their boards in the air; leaping onto them, they move directly opposite each other. Curving back around, they jumped through the sky, passing each other; their boards' engines' exhaust creating an "X". They looked back at each other one last time, smirking. Wave and Storm dashed on ahead with Jet following.

"You may be the fastest, for now... but I'll be back, Sonic the Hedgehog!" Jet said and darted in between Storm and Wave, jumping off an arch in the sand.

You're gonna take the title like the champion you are

It was night at Crimson Tower and a meteor flew through the sky towards the tower. A meteorite was seen from the computer room's window. After a while the shooting star distorted an energy wave, stopped in midair and dropped to the ground. It rolled along the ground until it hit a SCR-GP robot's foot. The robots in the MeteorTech facility activated by themselves, destroy the walls, and stomp towards the camera. The next morning in Monopole, a car was driven in a tube.

"Robots made by the leading security company MeteoTech are no longer responding to commands, and are running amok all over the world. The international security organization GUN has begun to investigate the event. MeteoTech has not issued a formal-" the radio said.

Tails was driving and Sonic was playing with an Ark of the Cosmos.

"Is this the meteor that fell last night?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah! The sound of the impact woke me from my sleep, and I found it outside." Tails said.

"Yaawn..." Knuckles said.

"We'll be at Megalo Station shortly."

Megalo Station was shown from a distance. Their car was going through a tunnel when a surveillance camera detected the Ark of the Cosmos in Sonic's hands. Then Security alarm went off and Knuckles looked up.

"Hm? Hey!" he said and the door behind them was closed and robots were chasing them.

Then they went ahead but the door ahead closed soon and they had to turn back.

"What should we do, Sonic!?" Tails asked and Sonic pointed to an elevator.

"That elevator!" Sonic said.

Then they turned back again and got in which nearly shook Knuckles off the vehicle. The elevator ascends.

"What's up with them?" Knuckles asked.

"Are they the ones from the news?" Tails asked.

"Watch out!" Sonic said and they reached the 300th floor and the door opened.

Many robots outside charged at them but Tails rode though them.

"Go!" Sonic said and the robots tried to attack but they managed to shake them off and realized they're going to crash straight through a building. "Brace yourselves!"

Then the wall of the station exploded and he started falling while Tails started flying and Knuckles gliding.

"Sonic!" Tails said and a wave of blue energy was emitted from Sonic's position.

Knuckles and Tails, while flying, turned to look at Sonic floating with the debris of the wall.

"What's going on? Is this the stone's power? Heheh! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!" Sonic said and free-fell towards the station.

MeteorTech Premises Robots were everywhere on the assembly line. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were hiding behind a big door.

"Looks like we'll need to watch our step." Sonic said.

Amy tried to take a closer look as a surveillance camera detected the Babylon Rogues behind them.

"Dang!" Knuckles said and pulled her away.

Then a surveillance system detected the Babylon rogues and an alarm sound was heard. The Babylon Rogues realized what was happening. SCR-GP robots started to rush towards Sonic and her friends but they passed them.

"Look out!" Sonic said and turned and looked behind himself as the robots passed him. "What?" he said and the robots stopped in front of the Babylon Rogues. "That's...!"

Jet performed Gravity Control and destroyed the SCR-GP robots with his fellow members. Then they landed in front of Sonic and his friends.

"It's been a while, Sonic the Hedgehog." Jet said.

"Jet!" Sonic said Storm and Wave fell behind Jet.

"Long time no see, shorty." Wave said.

"Wave!" Tails said and they landed behind Jet.

"We're here to settle the score from last time!" Storm said.

"Any time, Babylon Rogues." Knuckles said.

"Cut it out, Storm! Alright, girly, hand over the Ark of the Cosmos!" Jet said.

"What are you talking about?" Amy asked.

"Don't play dumb! Not after swiping the Ark of the Cosmos right out of our hands!"

"Hey, hold up a minute. Girls hate guys who rush them, Jet." Sonic said.

"Rush? Heh, I'm the fastest thing living in the universe! And today, I'm going to prove it!"

Then a security alarm went off and several robots began coming towards them.

"Sonic, we can't stay here!" Tails said.

"Looks like we'll have to do the reunion later. See ya, Jet!" Sonic said.

"H-hey! Wait!" Jet said.

Then Sonic, Jet and the others started going in a path and Amy tried joining them, but Storm blocked her way.

"Oops, can't let you past until you hand over that stone, little lady." Storm said.

"Hey, out of the way, buddy! I'll lose sight of Sonic!" Amy said and pulled out her hammer and hit him.

Then she started running away and Storm staggered behind her.

"W-waaait!" he said.

Later Sonic and Jet were riding on their Extreme Gears down a path.

"You can use that power, too!?" Jet said.

"Pretty handy, really." Sonic said and repelled some robot with a burst of gravity.

Meanwhile Eggman was working with his computer in a room.

"Engage EM algorithm, maximum value. Access mother computer. Mother computer access denied." Mother computer said.

"Why!?" Eggman said and heard the sound of crashing. "Hmm? he said and stood up. "What's this racket, and now of all times!" he said and went to the door.

Then the door was opened. He pointed somewhere confused, when Sonic and Jet came through and hit him with their Extreme Gear, sending him backwards into his computer's key board.

"What went flying just now?" Knuckles asked.

"Do I look like a ball to you?!" Eggman asked and got up and sat down on his chair.

"Eggman?! What are you doing here?!" Sonic asked.

"What do you mean? I own this company! Ahh ha ha ha ha!"

"What!? So you're the ringleader behind this one too, Eggman?"

"Ringleader? What the devil are you babbling about?"

"Come on, cut the act. I'm talking about the global robot rampage!"

"You must be joking. That's been quite a headache for me as well."

"Like we'll believe anything you say!" Knuckles said.

"Calm down. We go way back, don't we? I'll let you in on something. Not even I know why are they've gone amok, but they appear to be following a leader."

"A leader?! ...Well, I guess for now we'll buy that Eggman isn't involved." Sonic said and had a brief flashback of SCR-HD.

"So maybe that has nothing to do with the robots that attacked us..." Tails said and Sonic held out his Ark of the Cosmos.

"Wh-Where did you get that?!" Eggman asked.

"So you were holding out on us, Eggman!" Sonic said.

"Spill everything you know. Now!" Knuckles said threatening Eggman by cracking his knuckles and Eggman started working with his computer.

"Very well. I'll tell you..." Eggman said and a picture of the mother computer room started coming into the view. "All robot activities within my facility is normally controlled by the mother computer. As the core of MeteoTech network, it was supposed to be the perfect computer. But as of a few days ago, I've been unable to control it remotely." he said and the power unit within the mother computer was shown. "The power unit within the mother computer is a stone identical to the one you're holding. According to my analysis... That stone can covert huge amounts of mass energy into other forms of energy, and exudes a unique magnetic field..."

"Huh??"

"Shut up and listen!" Eggman said and several SCR-GP robots led by SCR-HD were shown. "In any case, it appears that somehow the robots' leader also contains a stone with similar powers to the one in the mother computer."

"What!?" Sonic asked and Eggman took out a map of the world and signals were sent from Crimson Tower.

"If my deductions are correct, the robots' leader is using the world's robots in an attempt to collect these strange stones from around the globe."

"But why do they need the stones?"

"That even I don't know."

"...They're drawn to one another." Jet said.

"What?" Eggman asked.

"These aren't just some rocks. They're spoken of in Babylon clan legend as... Ah! That's right! Girl, give me back the Ark of the Cosmos!"

"Amy's gone!" Tails said.

"Storm's not here either!" Wave said.

"Sounds like we've got a fix on the robot leader's location." Eggman said and started working with his computer again. "Satellite monitor on!"

Three points, one red, another grey, and the last magenta marked on the computer screen. The first showed a picture of SCR-HD, the second Storm, and the last Amy.

"Amy!!" Team Sonic said.

At Crimson Tower Team Sonic and Amy were riding in a desert toward the crater.

"Hm?" Sonic said.

Then the Babylon Rouges were seen standing at the base of the Crimson Tower.

"Heh, it took you long enough." Jet said.

"Where's Eggman?" Sonic asked and they hopped off of their Extreme Gears.

Jet pointed at the Crimson Tower behind him.

"They call it the Crimson Tower. It's the MeteoTech's signal tower. Commands sent out here relay through facilities across the world to control the robots. In other words, you're looking at MeteoTech's brain!" Wave said.

"That fink Eggman nabbed the Arks of the Cosmos we'd got and ran in there..." Storm said.

"What's he after this time?" Sonic asked.

"He's probably planning to use the stones' power to issue an order to all the worlds' robots from this tower. Sooner or later, he was planning to set the robots rampaging." Tails said.

"That was probably his reason for forming the MeteoTech in the first place." Amy said.

"The Eggman Land project again, huh? He never gives up, does he?" Sonic said and got on his Extreme Gear. "Well... Looks like we gotta storm the place." he said and started riding toward the Crimson Tower but suddenly Jet got in her way.

"Hold it." Jet said.

"Huh?"

"You think I was sitting around here twiddling my thumbs? Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"I follow you. Sorry to keep you waiting."

"First one to nab Eggman gets all of the Arks of the Cosmos!" Jet said and pointed at the Crimson Tower. "And the title of fastest creature in the universe!" he said surprising Wave and Storm.

"Heh, sounds like fun to me!"

"Let's get started!" Jet said and everyone rode on the main path leading towards the tower.

At Crimson Tower Eggman was in the mother computer's room. A container for the Arks of the Cosmos came out of the ceiling. Then he started putting Arks in it, when the door to the room opened and Sonic and Jet came in, followed by Tails, Knuckles, Storm and Wave. The wind of Sonic and Jet's Extreme Gears sent Eggman backwards and dropped the Arks of the Cosmos he was holding, which Sonic and Jet grabbed. Then he fell on the computer and got an electric shock. The master unit for the Arks of the Cosmos was rejected which Wave grabbed.

"So this is the master unit." Wave said.

"System error detected. All commands canceled." Mother computer said.

"My Eggman land plans are in ruins, after all these years!" Eggman said.

"Deal with it, Eggman! You're through!" Sonic said.

Then the ground started shaking and Knuckles walked up to Eggman and threatened him.

"A trap?! What have you done, Eggman?!" Knuckles asked.

"Look!" Tails said.

"Babylon Garden..." Sonic said.

Then the Babylon Garden was seen outside the Crimson Tower.

"The resonance from all 5 power units must have called it down." Wave said.

"Then the legends were right..." Jet said and he and Sonic looked at their Arks of the Cosmos.

"Here..." Sonic said and threw his Arks of the Cosmos to Jet.

"H-Hey! We haven't settled anything yet!" Jet said and Sonic got ready to go. "Turning tail and running away, Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"Running away? Who do you think I am? I'll be waiting... See you at the World Grand Prix." Sonic said and Team Sonic kept going and Sonic waved an upset Jet off.

"Jet, we have other things to take care of. Let's hurry to Babylon Garden." Wave said and Jet gave her the Arks of the Cosmos who put them in a suitcase.

Then they looked at Team Sonic.

"I suppose we should head home, too." Sonic said.

"Hey, Sonic. Why do you think the ancient Babylonians sealed away that power unit in the Gigan Rocks?" Tails asked.

"Beats me."

"Something's not right..." Tails said and the painting of Babylon Garden in Gigan Rocks was shown. "The lightless black that assaulted the divine wings..." he said and the painting vanished into a black spiral then a picture of SCR-HD exploding, with its Ark of the Cosmos in its center. "And how that robot chasing Amy just exploded... Oh! We can't let those meteorites get near Babylon Garden!"

Everybody looked at him then an earthquake occurred. SCR-HD broke through a window and started looking for the Arks of the Cosmos. SCR-HD found them in Wave's suitcase and knocked her away to take it. SCR-HD took off and flew towards Babylon Garden. Sonic looked out the broken window.

"How is that thing still flying?! ...Eggman!" Sonic said.

"I don't know!" Eggman said.

"Whaaat!?" Sonic asked confused.

"All I can say is that something nearby is generating a massive electromagnetic pulse. That may have forcibly engaged the program in the robot's buffer!"

Tails, Jet, Knuckles and Storm were standing behind Wave and Tails and Jet helped sit up.

"Sonic, the Babylonians weren't able to control the power of those meteorites!" Tails said confusing everyone and Sonic turned to him and the others.

"What do you mean?" Sonic asked.

"I figured out how they can change gravitational polarity! It's a black hole!!" Tails said and the Babylon Garden was shown with light emerging from it. "The meteorites amplify gravity to form black holes--that's the lightless black that attacked the divine wings!"

Every part of the Crimson Tower was shaking.

"The power units are resonating together, forming a giant black hole!" Eggman said.

Everybody was surprised so Jet ran to Sonic and both of them looked outside.

Blue rays of light came out of the Babylon Garden and enveloped the island in a blue light sphere while its stone structure fell apart. Suddenly, Babylon Garden's light exploded creating a colossal shockwave that swept over the landscape. The Crimson Tower's windows were broken and a lot of dust came in. As Team Sonic braced themselves the shards of the windows started floating.

"Wh-what the...?" Sonic asked.

Babylon Garden, now Astral Babylon, was sucking everything as a black hole. The Babylon Rouges were surprised. Crimson Tower was gradually pulled apart. Team Sonic was pulled towards the black hole, but they grabbed a hold of the surroundings. A lot of tornadoes were formed outside with one hitting a part of the Crimson Tower. The Babylon Rouges also grabbed a hold of something.

"At this rate, the whole planet will be sucked into the black hole!" Tails said and lost his grip and was pulled toward the black hole, but Sonic caught him.

"Hah!" Sonic said.

"Thanks, Sonic!"

"The world is doomed!" Eggman said and pressed a button and his chair retracted into the floor with him on it.

"Wave! How can we stop this storm?" Jet asked.

"The core unit in the engine room powers the Babylon Garden. If we can disconnect it, that should do the trick." Wave said and he turned to Team Sonic on their Extreme Gears.

"I'll go on ahead!" Sonic said and Team Sonic flew out of the window toward the Babylon Garden and the Babylon Rouges followed them on their Extreme Gear.

Later Astral Babylon was orbiting around the earth as the sun rise. The Babylon Rouges were standing on a rock, looking at Astral Babylon in the sky.

Then Wave turned to Jet.

"So, are you okay with all this?" she asked.

"Well, much as I'll miss the vastness of space, this world still has its charm... Besides..." Jet said.

A few minutes later they were afar. After a few minutes, they all got on their Extreme Gear and flew away.

Back in Monopole, Team Sonic and Amy's car was heading down a tube, with Tails at the wheel, Sonic next to Tails, and Knuckles and Amy on the back seats.

"Hmm... I wonder what those meteors really were..." Amy said.

"They had some programming that made them try to gather up the other units." Tails said.

"Yeah?"

"It activated when Eggman found the first piece and put it in the mother computer. All the robots went berserk because they were all connected to the network. At least, I think that's what happened."

"But who made that program?" Sonic asked.

"I have no idea. Maybe those ancient Babylonians... Or maybe someone even more ancient... Maybe it was a warning, for people to stay away from power beyond control."

"But the people of Babylon..." Knuckles said.

"I can't believe they were the descendants of aliens..." Amy said.

There was a circular explosion in space and Astral Babylon emerged from the hole and headed towards earth.

"They crash landed on this planet in ancient past..." Tails said and the Arks of the Cosmos were rejected from Astral Babylon. "They disconnected the unit..."

"And left it in orbit, hoping that some day, it would fall back down to the surface." Amy said and Astral Babylon was shown in the night sky and a shooting star passed. "Every time they saw a shooting star..."

Then it was back to the present and Sonic pointed to sky.

"I bet they'd wished they could get back to their home planet." he said.

Meanwhile something was chasing Team Sonic and Amy's car.

"Maybe that's why people started wishing on shooting stars." Amy said and the pursuer was getting closer to the car.

"Sonic!" Jet said.

"Hm?" Sonic said and looked behind to see Jet chasing them.

Jet came near the car and looked at him as he passed. Sonic smiled and got on his Extreme Gear and started racing Jet through the road tube and among the cars. After a few seconds, Jet passed by a section in the tube, with Sonic right behind him.

From Ibiza to L.A., London to Qatar

Eggman and his Egg Pawns were in the city cornering a group of civilians, only for Sonic to appear in the nick of time to destroy the badniks as they had just raised their arms up to fire, causing the civilians to cheer on him.

"Is everyone okay?" he asked.

"We are, thanks to you. Cutting it kind of close, though, pal." Tails said.

"Yeah, that's pretty much how I roll." Sonic said and turned around to face Eggman. "Okay, let's finish this, Eggman!"

"It will be your finish, Sonic. Behold the power of my ultimate masterpiece!" Eggman said.

Sonic shrugged and was about to attack him with his homing attack, only for it to be blocked by a mysterious figure. He managed to land on his feet, while Tails ushered the civilians down a nearby alleyway to escape to safety, and recognized the figure of what appeared to be Shadow, who, for some reason, has different eyes.

"Shadow! It's you?" Sonic said and Zavok appeared. "Zavok!?" he said then Metal Sonic appeared. "Metal!?" he said then Chaos appeared. "Chaos!!"

A mysterious figure with a red aura floated down. Sonic scoffed at the new opponent and charged at the figure with a Boost, only for him to quickly sidestep the attack and move out the way, much to Sonic's surprise.

"Huh?" Sonic said.

"Woah! This guy is faster than Sonic!" Tails said.

The figure fired a laser from his palm at Sonic who dodged and the latter used his Homing Attack on the figure, only to be kicked into the air and then roundhouse kicked into a building, cratering the masonry from the impact.

"No, wait! It's something else. Gotta scan him and figure this out." Tails said.

The figure fired two lasers from his palm at Sonic who dodged. Zavok charged at him at this moment and punched at him, only for him to block the attack and roundhouse kick the Zeti, who shouted in pain as he was repulsed. Sonic then charged at the figure and jumped into the air to attack him, only to see Metal Sonic was about to attack him from the flank. Sonic used his stomp move to avoid Metal Sonic and proceeded to charge at the figure again, only for her to move out of the way. When Sonic landed on a building, Chaos appeared out of the blue about to punch him, only for the latter to block.

"What are you? How are you doing--" Sonic asked.

The figure appeared and roundhouse kicks him again while he was distracted by Chaos, sending him tumbling across the street. Eggman clenched his fist in victory.

"Nice!" Eggman said and Sonic got up.

"Tails! I need to know what's going on with this guy!" Sonic said.

"I'm trying, Sonic, but these readings are all messed up! They don't make any sense!" Tails said and the figure proceeds to roundhouse kick Sonic once again, only for him to evade the attack this time and somersault out of the way.

The figure attacked him again before he could recover, causing him to be launched into a building, again with enough force to crater the masonry. Sonic then got launched into the air by the figure, who then blast lasers from his palms, and got pummeled by Shadow, Zavok, Chaos, and Metal Sonic, all in that order.

Sonic: "Running out of time here, Tails!" Sonic said and the figure delivered one last blow on him, slamming him to the ground in front of Tails, who looked on with concern.

Sonic tried to lift himself up, but to no success as he had no strength left, and collapsed in defeat, to Tails' horror.

"Sonic!" Tails said.

The figure was floating down as Sonic lost consciousness with some final pained groans.

Infinite hovered above the Resistance menacingly thanks to the glow cast upon him by his virtual sun.

"Make peace with your fate, because your lives are now over!" he said.

Then the Avatar's Phantom Ruby prototype reacted again, and the Avatar tightened their grip on it as a look of fresh confidence scowls on their face as they made up their mind to stop Infinite. Infinite flew away, while Eggman cackled madly as he prepared to watch Sonic's friends perish and seize ultimate victory.

"Mwa-hahaha! Three," Eggman said and The Avatar headed towards the sun. "two, one, zero!" he said and The Avatar dashed into the sun, prototype in hand.

"Buddy?" Tails said.

The Resistance watched in breathless anticipation. After several seconds, the sun was seen getting closer and closer, before it disappeared from the sky completely, with only a red beam falling from it. They cheered at having been saved from total annihilation.

"The sun! It's gone!" Knuckles said.

"Wh-What? What just happened!?" Eggman asked and saw the red beam falling from the sky and followed it to investigate what ruined his near victory.

Shadow smirked. The red beam was actually the Avatar with the Phantom Ruby prototype. Upon landing with their grappling hook, the prototype broke and dissolved, and the Avatar collapsed to the ground, visibly weakened from the effort. Eggman arrived in total flabbergasted disbelief when he discovered what happened.

Eggman pointed at the Avatar.

"Impossible! I thought all the prototypes were destroyed!" he said and Tails flew beside the Avatar to pick them up as the Avatar groaned weakly.

"A costly oversight, Doctor. That's why I always check and double check as any good scientist would." Tails said.

Back at the battlefield.

"This is the turning point, guys! Time to press our advantage and kick major butt!" Knuckles said and The Resistance forces cheer in agreement.

At Eggman Empire Fortress Sonic was facing Infinite as the latter hovered in the air over the edge of a ramp before the Central Tower of the fortress.

"Pathetic little hedgehog. Even with the Phantom Ruby weakened, I still have enough power to smash you into blue jelly. I'll show you how outclassed you really are!" Infinite said.

"I'm in a class all my own. Time to put-up or shut up," Sonic said and pointed at him. "Infinite!" he said and ran up and leapt at him.

Infinite fully charged up his Phantom Ruby prototype back to full strength.

"You're done for, Sonic. The Phantom Ruby's energy is recharged." he said and performed a powerful energy wave. "Perish, along with your useless friends!"

The Avatar intervened in the battle, shooting out their grappling hook at Infinite who dodged and glared at the Avatar, who scowled right back.

"You!" he said and The Avatar landed beside Sonic and both train their angry glares at Infinite.

"My friends got me this far, and together we're gonna win!" Sonic said.

A few minutes later Infinite was in a glitch-like state on the ground before Sonic and the Avatar after having been dealt a powerful defeat by them.

"Impossible. I cannot be defeated." Infinite said.

"Wrong, loser! The things that can't be defeated are heart, soul, and the bonds of friendship. Three things you and your counterfeit cronies lack!" Sonic said and Infinite pounded his fist on the ground in frustration at his truth, before finding himself being lifted into the air against his will.

"No, wait! I can still fight!" Infinite said and struggled to stand up.

After a couple more strained gasps as he continued to struggle against the force working against him, Then he faded away and his Phantom Ruby prototype was dragged off to an unknown location. Sonic and the Avatar looked at each other, puzzled, The Avatar shrugged in confusion before they turned their attention forward as Eggman approached them in his Egg Mobile.

"You never fail to surprise me, Sonic. I didn't believe Infinite could lose. Victory will be so much sweeter when I defeat you. Don't think this is over yet, you blue nuisance. My plan just went into overtime!" Eggman said.

A few minutes later Sonic and the Avatar landed on the ground after leaping out of the Central Tower following destroying the Phantom Ruby reactor. They waved to the incoming Tails and Classic Sonic.

"We did it! Eggman's army's is officially butt-kicked! We won!" Sonic said and attempted to fist bump the Avatar, but they were interrupted by a small earthquake.

The Avatar quickly grits their teeth and scowls as they look around for the source of the interruption, unaware of a large, inhuman mech rising out of the crater behind them.

"Oh, come on! Now what? Can't we ever just win and have that be the end of it?"

"Look!" Tails said and Eggman emerged with a giant Death Egg Robot.

"Gotcha! The fortress reactor was just a decoy. A true winner always keeps his trump card hidden until the end." Eggman said.

"Sonic, what's going on? There aren't less enemies! There's MORE!" Vector said over the radio.

"What?" Tails asked.

"How could there be so many?" Amy asked over the radio.

"Confirmed sightings indicate Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, Chaos, Infinite... Thousands of them!" Rouge said over the radio.

"What have you done!?" Sonic asked while Classic Sonic gritted his teeth in anger.

"Mwa-hahaha! I merely incorporated the Phantom Ruby into this Death Egg Robot." Eggman said.

"But that means the Phantom Ruby no longer has a vulnerable energy supply. It's an invulnerable ruby?" Tails asked.

"A good deduction, Tails. This Death Egg Robot has... No, I have surpassed Infinite to become the complete and ultimate form. You will be crushed by this Death Egg Robot powered by the Phantom Ruby," Eggman said and the Sonics and the Avatar got into battle stances. "and in the end everything will still be just as I planned!" he said and cackled maniacally and sent out a powerful energy wave at his adversaries, nearly knocking them off-balance.

Then Sonic stepped forward.

"Your plan will end like all your plans do: with you sitting in a pile of busted robot parts wondering how you failed so badly. Let's get him." he said and he, Classic Sonic and the Avatar charged at the Death Egg Robot.

As the shattered shard of the destroyed core of the Death Egg Robot rain down around the battlefield, the Eggman Army replicas started to disappear as the Resistance continued blasting away as many as they can. Soon, they were all gone, leaving the Resistance forces standing alone and victorious.

"All right! We won!"Knuckles said and they started celebrating. "I knew we'd do it!" he said and The Chaotix nodded in agreement.

"Piece of cake." Rouge said.

Shadow looked back at her and smirks. Silver flew high into the air.

"Yeah!" Silver said and Amy gave him a thumbs up.

"We did it!" she said.

A dog Resistance trooper helped pick up a wolf Resistance trooper.

"Are you okay?" the male dog asked.

"Thanks. Woohoo. We did it!" a male wolf said.

"Alright!" a male bear said.

"Yes!" a female cat said.

The entire Resistance cheered for a job well done and ultimate victory over the Eggman Empire.

The core Resistance members were gathered, facing Classic Sonic who started to fade.

"I guess this is good-bye. Get home safely, Sonic," Tails said and Classic Sonic and Tails shook hands. "and thanks for everything!"

Classic Sonic gave him a thumbs up and a smile. Then he looked at the others, who also bid him farewell. Before leaving, he extended his arm to fist bump Tails and faded away smiling and waving. Tails weakly tried to grab him before he left but was too late. Sonic walked up and put his hand on Tails' shoulder and The Avatar joined them.

"Cheer up, Tails, I'm sure we'll run into him again." Sonic said and turned around to face the others. "Alright, guys! It's time we cleaned up the mess Eggman left this world in, and I'm not talking about those illusions he dreamed up for us! We need to fix the real world we all live in." he said and they nodded showing signs of agreement.

"True dat!" Tails said and the Avatar nodded.

"C'mon, let's go!" Sonic said and they cheered.

"Yeah!" they exclaimed.

Later the main Resistance members were at HQ sitting around, talking to each other and The Avatar watched for a while. Knuckles then entered the room.

"Finally, an end to this endless battle. Everyone can go back home and relax. There's no need for the Resistance." Knuckles said and Silver hopped down from the crate he was sitting on.

"Hold on, there's still a lot we need to do. We're just getting started." Silver said and Knuckles nodded then The Avatar turned around to him and spoke their mind.

"What? You're leaving us? There are others who need your help? But OK, I'm not gonna stop you." Knuckles said.

"Man, the first time I saw you stumbling around, I had no idea you could pull this thing together and see it to the end." Vector said and patted the Avatar's back. "I've changed my mind about you." he said and The Avatar scratched their head in embarrassment and laughed a bit over his remark.

"I knew you'd come through, rookie. Well, I guess you're not a rookie anymore!"

"You did good out there. It's not like you just waited till the last minute to come in and act all cool saving the day." Rouge said pushing him to the other side.

Realizing Rouge was talking about him, Omega extended his hand outwards in her direction while she winked at him. Shadow, leaning against a few crates, raised his head slightly and grunted.

"Our battle is done and our resistance has come to a conclusion, but we'll be friends forever. A single person cannot restore the entire world. We have to work together and make a diligent effort!" Tails said and The Resistance nodded.

"Yeah!" they said in agreement.

Later Sonic was overlooking the City while the Avatar approached him and stood by his side, looking out at the sunset together.

"Hey, you're taking off, too? I was thinking the same thing. You gonna keep moving forward? No matter what, yeah? Heh, you and I aren't so different." Sonic said and the Avatar nodded in agreement. "See ya later, buddy!"

The two friends grinned before fist bumping. Then Sonic ran off while giving the Avatar a thumbs up. The Avatar waved back and set off in the other direction with their grappling hook, in search of another adventure.

Meanwhile someone was hiding and watching smiling.

You'll be somebody

It was night and Eggman was at Kronos Island.

"Uploading AI program now." Sage said.

"Yes! It's all coming online. The Ancient's Secrets will be mine!" Eggman said. "Status report. Answer me!"

"Simulations complete. Executing Protective Initiative."

"What! No! NO!" he said and was sucked into the Portal.

The next day Sonic, Tails and Amy were aboard flying Sonic's Tornado, with Tails as pilot.

"We're coming up on the Starfall Islands." Tails said.

"How exciting!" Amy said.

"You tracked the Chaos Emeralds here, right? Let's find out what drew them here!" Sonic said.

Then a beeping was heard and a flashing red light appeared. Tails was confused so took a look at his HUD. Suddenly, the plane shook rapidly and lost control.

"Whoa! There's some kind of atmospheric charge! Hang on!" Tails said, controlled and stabilized the biplane, allowing the plane to get away from the sea.

Soon, a vortex appeared, sucking them and the plane inside.

"AAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!" they yelled and kept screaming as they were sucked into the vortex.

"Is that it?" Super Sonic asked.

"All we did was chase it out of its shell. It's retreating into space to regain its true form. Even Super Sonic won't be able to stop it. I know what I must do. I must... leave you." Sage said.

"I understand. Go fulfill your... function." Eggman said.

"Hurry! Before it regains its full strength!"

"Ladies first!" Super Sonic said and they flew away, ready to face The End.

"Be careful, dear daughter." Eggman said.

Meanwhile.

"He took your home world... He took your lives... Are you going to let him do it all over again?! I need your help. We can end this! Please!!" Super Sonic said.

"Mortal, you have served your purpose. Now face your End. I am the all-consuming void. What can one mote of golden light illuminate within the abyss? Countless stars. Countless worlds. Countless lives. All fell to me, all brought to nothing. All the teeming chaos of creation? Brought to order. To neutrality. To nothing. I saw your mind as you ran through my prison. You have fought machines and gods. They were mighty. They were finite. I am Infinite. I am nothing. You struggle as so many have done before. You will be consumed like all those before you. I saw your mind. Your courage never wavered. Why? Arrogance? Ignorance? Stupidity? I was contained once. Once. Is that why? My captors bent time and space. My captors built a whole reality to contain me. My captors burnt their souls away to fuel their engines. And you? You glitter; you fly above me like a gnat. I am inevitable, I cannot be denied. You strike this incarnation with all your might. It changes nothing. You are not brave; you are not victorious. No matter what form I take... The End comes for you all!" The End said getting more distorted after each couple sentences.

"Now or never!" Super Sonic said ready to finish The End off.

Sage threw Super Sonic so he could fly like a shooting star to finish off The End. Instead of full-body smacking into The End's surface, Super Sonic pierced The End at the speed of light, then blast out the other end. The End started to flash, ready to kill Super Sonic once it exploded. Sage took notice and made a dash for The End to contain it.

"No!" Sage said, entered The End, and contained it, just as the red Chaos Energy on her turned into many light-blue shades, along with her dress turning white instead of black.

Then The End then exploded, taking Sage with it. The explosion hurled Super Sonic towards Earth, but all of the sound was silenced, except for Sage's last words.

"Please... look after... father..." Sage said.

Meanwhile the Portal released Amy, Knuckles and Tails and they were back to their normal selves again. They smiled at each other while a Starfall glowed across the sky. Soon, Super Sonic came swooping down, finally able to stabilize his flight.

Amy gasped.

"Woohoo!" she said.

"Yes!" Tails said.

"All right!" Knuckles said.

Super Sonic relinquished the Chaos Emeralds and returned to his normal form as he landed back on the ground. They saw each other and Amy gave him a hug, Tails gave him a high-five while Knuckles Fist-Bumped him.

Meanwhile, Eggman was alone on an island while the Starfall glowed across the sky. He put his hand up, then bowed his head in sadness. He gazed at the starfall, and clenched his right fist.

Later at Starfall Island Amy, Knuckles and Tails were gathered around Sonic's Tornado when Sonic can in, with Amy waving back.

"So... that was fun." Sonic said.

His comment worried everybody, with Tails waving both his hands in disagreement, Knuckles sighing in disapproval, and Amy squinting her eyes with a big frown.

"But I guess it's time we got moving. I know you all have big plans." he said.

"You're gonna hardly recognize me when we see each other again." Tails said.

"I wonder if Cream and Sticks are free? Make a road trip out of it!" Amy said.

"It'll be good to get back to my Island. At least... for a while." Knuckles said.

'I just hope Sonic will be OK.' he thought.

"We're wasting daylight. Let's go!" Sonic said and hopped on the plane.

With all four heroes aboard, the Tornado boot up and took off. It performed a somersault while Sonic and Knuckles were on opposite wings looking at each other, and Amy having the time of her life in the passenger seat while the biplane flew into the sunset.

You'll be somebody

Sonic was running thinking about when they split up.

Sonic and Amy were at Kronos Island follow the Koco. The scenery transitioned to the Kronos Island in the past timeline and Sonic restrained Amy.

"Don't! It's too dangerous!" Amy said as Sonic tried to pull her back.

In broad daylight, they checked over the two Koco, who have become inanimate, laying on the ground together, becoming miserable and mournful. I'll

"They were reunited... right before the end..." Amy said.

"They're together now." Sonic said to her and there were a few seconds of silence. "You take a minute. I'm gonna keep moving."

Later Amy was trying to pick some roses, but failed due to being stuck in Cyber Space, much to her despair when Sonic walked up to her.

"Hey. Still thinking about the Koco?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah. And... more. I'm not sure what happened, but I know what I saw: a love that transcended time. I believe in that power. When this is over, I want to share that love with the world. Even though... it may take us far apart." Amy said.

"I know you'll do great. I want to hear all about it when you come back."

It was night and Knuckles and Sonic were at Area Island where Knuckles saw the bunker and had a flashback. scene of Angel Island from Friend or Foe.

"Is this the place?" Sonic asked but Knuckles didn't listen. "Yo, Knux?"

"Sonic, this... this looks like ruins from back home. What if the people of these islands survived and resettled on Angel Island? That'd make this pretty important." Knuckles said.

While the group of Soldier Kocos march, one of them saw something. With another Koco colliding into it from behind it saw something and started yelping, alerting Sonic and Knuckles.

"That's not a good sound." Sonic said and all the Kocos retreat.

Sonic and Knuckles looked up and several 'titans' appeared.

"They're going to assault the bunker!" Knuckles said and had the flashback in his head. "I can't... I can't lose this!"

"We've got this buddy. I've got your back!" Sonic said and zoomed off.

"Thank you, Sonic."

Later.

"It's not fair! How come you get to jump in and out of Cyber Space that I'm stuck halfway?" Knuckles asked.

"Well, beats me. It sounds like we all experienced the dimension differently." Sonic said.

"Yeah, I didn't see any way out. Your trips sound less complicated."

"Well, whatever. The spooky sky voice says I just have to trash the Titans to get you guys back to normal. So we have a plan."

"Oh yeah? Why isn't it talking to the rest of us, then?"

Later that night.

"Ages ago my people were wiped out by a cataclysm. I know the Koco faced something similar. It reminds me I'm the last Echidna. That I'm alone." Knuckles said.

"You may be the last but you're not alone. You've got us, Knucklehead." Sonic said.

"I'll admit. I do envy your lifestyle. Freedom to go where you want, when you want."

"So do it! Get out there and live a little."

"Maybe I could... but first, I need to be back to normal. So hurry up, and get me back to normal!"

"Anything to get you away from me!" Sonic said and they stared competitively at each other again.

Soon the seriousness turned into laughter and they share a fist bump.

At Chaos Island a weary Sonic and Tails followed the Koco, but Tails stopped.

"Sonic... am I a burden to you?" Tails asked.

"Wow... And how did you come to this well-thought-out concern?" Sonic said.

"Whenever there's a crisis I'm either running away or standing on the sidelines! you're always rescuing me when all I do is follow you around!"

"Hey! Who was it who stopped Eggman from blowing up Station Square, huh? And who broke me out of prison, or saved me from the Deadly Six's trap?"

"I... then I'm wildly inconsistent!" Tails said, folded his arms and looked away.

After a pause, Sonic confronted an annoyed Tails.

"Dude, relax!" Sonic said and touched Tails' shoulder. "You've got brains like Eggman, speed like me and can fly with your butt." he said and Tails looked away. "It's okay if you still need help sometimes. That's just part of growing up." he said and held one of his fingers in the air.

Tails stared at it and scoffed.

"When did you get to be so insightful?" Tails asked.

"I have my moments."

Suddenly a Koco approached them and bounced up and down, annoying Tails.

"They say the bridge is out." Tails said.

"I'm sure we can fix that. I'll have a look around." Sonic said and Tails nodded.

Later that night the Apprentice Koco communicated to Tails.

"They say this was the last of the defensive measures." Tails said.

"Way to go. Your hero will be thrilled with all your hard work." Sonic said to the Koco.

The Koco bowed then the spirit floated up in the air, killing the Koco. Tails stared mournfully at it.]

"And I'm proud of you. Don't forget that." Sonic said to him and Tails took a deep breath, holding back tears. "I won't." he said to Sonic, turned properly to Sonic and smiled.

Later it was raining.

"Hey, little bro. Feeling better?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah. This whole experience gave me a kind of clarity. When this is all over... I think I need to go it alone for a while. You can't grow into my full potential if I always fall back on you. If that's okay!" Tails said and Sonic chuckled.

"You're free to go your own way. I guess you just grew up on me a little faster than I expected."

"Are you saying I outpaced you?" Tails asked sheepishly.

"Yeah don't push it." Sonic said and Tails giggled. "It's gonna take some getting used to, but here's to you reaching new heights--partner." he said and offered a handshake.

Tails accepted it, but to no effect as their hands appear through each other. They notice that, and started chuckling.

You'll be somebody

Then he came back and sighed.

"I don't have Sonia, Manic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy anymore." he said and shook his head. "I can do this on my own. I have my medallion and now that it's just me I can start using it again, have the Chaos Emeralds and will find mom." he said strong and kept running to his next adventure.

You'll be somebody

It had been a month and Eggman hadn't done anything but Sonic was still on his adventures.

He was on a run when he heard something and stopped to see Eggman.

"Finally back huh?" Sonic said.

"I just needed time to relax a bit. But now that you're alone it will be easy to defeat you!" Eggman said. "Robot, attack!"

Then one came and Sonic jumped over a shot and made a Sonic Spin but bounced back.

"You forgot something Robuttnik." Sonic said and showed him his medallion. "Now that I work alone I can use this!" he said, tapped it and aimed a laser beam at it getting its arm off.

"Uh! I didn't think you'd be using that! You're risking your identity using it."

"My friends are off on their own adventures so I'm on my own. Which means I can use it and no one will know!" Sonic said and did it again.

While they fought Eggman knew Sonic would use his medallion and everything he had done over the years. He knew this was going to be hard but was ready. With Sonic on his own he had that advantage.

When they were done they looked at each other.

"Get ready for next time Sonic! You've never been on your own but now you are! With your friends gone and your brother and sister with me this will be hard!" Eggman said and flew away.

"I'll be ready!" Sonic said, put his medallion away and ran home.

When his friends left for their own adventure he had started having panic attacks so saw a doctor and was diagnosed with PTSD after what he had been through. Now he was taking a pill to help him and seeing a therapist every week.

No one knows about this, not even Team Dark, Silver or Blaze and he plans to keep it that way for as long as possible.

They had said if he ever needed them they'd be there to help.

You're gonna be somebody

It was night and Sonic was at home lying on a bed sleeping with a book covering his head.

"Um..." someone said but got nothing. "Hmph! Hey, wake up!" they waking him up and he took the book from his head.

"Yaaaaawwn! Boy, is it that late already?" he said and went to hold the clock but instead held a big ring. "What time is it? Huh?!"

"You are the blue hedgehog." a female genie said and came from the ring.

"Ahh... what the...!" he said surprised.

"Do not be alarmed! I am Shahra, the Genie of the Ring. ...you know, like "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp"...?" Shahra said and held the book.

"Don't think I've read that."

"What? You've got to be kidding me! It's the best story of all the Arabian Nights? Or at least the 2nd best... But that's the point. Please, look at this!" she said and showed him the book so he started turning the pages.

"Hey, the page is blank!" he said and got an exclamation mark over his head.

"Our world... The world of the Arabian Nights is vanishing."

Then there were some Arabian characters in the book and they disappear.

"Vanishing? But how?"

"This is the work of an incredibly evil spirit... the Erazor Djinn."

"Erazor... Djinn?"

"Yes. He used his evil magic to become even more powerful. He could not to bear to simply remain in the book any longer. And so he has begun to set the inscriptions free, absorbing the power of the book itself."

"The power of the book?"

Then Sonic appeared with his shadow projected in the wall.

"If our world ceases to exist, then not only will those stories be silenced forever, but the Erazor Djinn will then be unleashed into your world." Shahra said and Sonic's shadow changed to the shadow of the Erazor Djinn.

"That definitely sounds like trouble. But, what do you want me to do?"

"You must stop the Erazor Djinn. Only you, the blue hedgehog, can do it.

"Hmm. So, this guy needs someone to put him in his place, does he? I suppose I can help out with that. It might even be fun. But... this is all just something out of a storybook, right? How am I supposed to do anything about that?"

"That's easy. You are my master, having called forth the Genie of the Ring. As such, I am able to grant your wishes. Simple wishes, at any rate. Bringing you into the world of the Arabian Nights is within my power."

"What?! Inside that book?" he said and she transformed into a ring.

"Now please, place the ring on your finger!" she said and he put the Ring on his finger.

"Like this?" he asked then sparks came from the ring. "OUCH! Hey, take it easy!"

"My apologies, o Master. But now, the contract has been sealed."

"Contract?"

"Yes. As Master of the ring, I am now bound to protect you. Now, rub the ring!" she said and he rubbed the ring.

"Like... like this?" he said and smoke appeared.

After it vanished, Shahra appeared.

"O Master of the ring, what is thy wish?" she asked.

"Achoo! Achoo! How about a handkerchief for starters! Make that a few!" he said and got buried in handkerchiefs, leaving only his head out. "Thanks! You're a lifesaver. You see, I caught this cold, yesterday, and..."

"Please, be serious!"

"Okay, okay. Thanks for the hankies, though."

"Oh, please, someone tell me that this isn't really happening..."

"Alright... let's go! Take me to this world of the Arabian Nights!"

"As you wish, Master!"

"Quit it, will you! My name's Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!"

"Very well, then, Sonic. ...the Legendary Hedgehog. Here we go! Into the world of the Arabian Nights!"

"OK!"

Then Shahra made a magic carpet appear and Sonic boarded it.

"Now THIS is first-class! Here we go!" he said and they entered the book then it closed.

Sure enough they were in front of a door. The seven World Rings unlocked the door and they entered it. Erazor's razor was on the ground and he appeared from it.

And love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night,

"You just don't give up, do you?" Sonic said.

"You've brought me all seven World Rings. Well done!" Erazor Djinn said.

"Hey, of course! We're such good buddies, after all!"

"Shahra!" Erazor Djinn said but Shahra said nothing. "You have done well in using him to gather the rings. Now, give them to me!"

"Hey, hold on! Aren't you going to do something about this?" Sonic asked and pointed at his small flame.

"Shahra, please, quickly! Let us rule the world together!" Erazor Djinn said and Shahra flew to him with the seven World Rings.

"Shahra?! Wh-what's...?"

"I... I must..." Shahra said.

"Shahra, stop! You can't do this!" he said. "Think about what will happen!"

"I'm sorry. I have no choice... I just want to be back with him."

"No! As Genie of the Ring. I command you! "Do what you truly think is right!" he said and rubbed Shahra's ring getting her confused.

Then she fainted.

"Ahhh... aaaaah!" she yelled.

"Shahra!" he said and the World Rings started appearing next to Erazor.

"Prayers - Sadness - Rage - Hatred - Joy - Pleasure - Wishes. The seven hearts that make up the stories. These are the seven World Rings that bind these pages together!" Erazor Djinn said.

"Wha...!"

"But the life of the collector of the rings shall be offered up in sacrifice as the key for that control." I offer up YOUR life, blue hedgehog!"

"Ngh!"

Erazor Djinn tried to strike Sonic with his razor, but Shahra got in front of him and fell. with the metal orb she had given to her falling too.

"Shahra!" Sonic yelled.

"Sonic... I'm... sorry. I knew... all along... I knew what would happen, and I still got you involved." Shahra said.

"It's okay. It's not your fault."

"Did I change my destiny? Did I keep our promise?"

"Shahra! Grant me a wish! I wish for you to not die and to go back to the way you were!"

"I'm so sorry, Master. I... cannot grant..." she said then died and the ring on Sonic's finger broke.

"Hmph. In the end, such is the weak power of a Genie of the Ring." Erazor Djinn said and the seven World Rings enter his body getting him to transform into Alf Layla wa-Layla. "Ugh? Hrrrrgh! Wooaaarrrgh!"

"I am Alf Layla wa Layla. I AM the Arabian Nights. I will be its new creator! I will remake this world and this reality in my own image!" Alf Layla wa Layla said.

"This is awful. You're just some incomplete monster..." Sonic said and sparks came from him.

There World Rings were leaving his body and three of the rings entered Sonic.

"Aaahhhh!" he said and transformed into Darkspine Sonic.

Then he held Shahra's broken ring in his hand.

"We've got to stop him... Shahra! Please, lend me your power!" Darkspine Sonic said.

After the fight Erazor was lying in the middle of the space and Darkspine Sonic started flying down and returned to his normal form and the space went back to being the Night Palace. He hasn't got his flame anymore. Erazor grabbed his razor, still lying on the ground then stood on his knees.

"I shall not be defeated! If you defeat me, I will simply return, again and again! I am immortal! I cannot be vanquished! Muhhuhu-hahaha!" he said while Sonic held his Magic Lamp behind his back then showed it to him. "That can't be!? That's...the-" he said then Sonic remembered when Shahra gave her the metal orb.

"I want you to hold on to this." Shahra said.

Sonic remembered when Shahra was dying.

"...go back to the way you were!" she said and the metal orb transformed into Erazor's Magic Lamp.

Back to the present.

"The genie of the lamp is supposed to grant three wishes, am I right?" Sonic asked.

"I will never grant any wish from the likes of you!" Erazor Djinn said and Sonic sat on the throne.

"Hm! My first wish. Bring Shahra back to life!" Sonic said and pointed the lamp at Erazor and it shot him on the chest.

"Ugh! My body... My body is..." he said and a light came from its chest.

Then it transformed into Shahra's ring then went back to Sonic's finger. Shahra rematerialized.

"My second wish. Return the Arabian Nights to the way you were, so that the world can have its stories again!" Sonic said.

"Wha!" Erazor Djinn said and got shot again. "Ugh!" he yelled and Arabian characters come out from his body and left through the door. "M-my..."

"My third wish. Erazor Djinn! You shall live out the rest of time, trapped inside your lamp as you were in days of old!"

Then Erazor Djinn was shot a last time and knocked back a long distance.

"Ugh... ugh... ugh!" he said and a hurricane forms all around him. "Shahra. I know you're there! Please, stop him! We can start over, the two of us! I swear! I swear it! The world is mine! I cannot be denied by filthy rat! Whyyyyy?!" he yelled then the hurricane engulfs him and he was sucked to the lamp.

"I told you. I'm not a RAT!" Sonic said as he entered the lamp and she tipped on the fire. "I'm a HEDGEHOG!" he said and put out the fire then saw Shahra was sad. "Shahra... Will you grant me one more wish?" he asked.!"I wish for a mountain of handkerchiefs." he said and handkerchiefs come from the sky. "Now, just let yourself cry. As much as you need to. You'll have plenty of handkerchiefs to help you through it." he said and the handkerchiefs started entering the palace.

"And so, the legendary blue hedgehog, having saved the world of the Arabian Nights, ran endlessly, until he found his way back into his own world." Shahra said.

A few minutes later they were in Evil Foundry. Sonic dropped Erazor Djinn's lamp onto the lava. Sonic, Ali Baba and Sinbad were looking at something.

"Along the way, he had many adventures... but those are stories... for another time." Shahra said and remembered her promise to Sonic so she smiled and said goodbye at her. "Thank you... Sonic the Hedgehog. The Legendary Hedgehog."

You'll be bigger than Mars

There was a crow flying away, and a girl was running away. Suddenly a someone on a horse went flying to the sky and took out his sword then with the sword he summoned many evil minions. They all surrounded her and she banged her staff on the ground and started her incantation.

"Ifaraszaras yezaras, Ifaris zaris yezarik. O brave knight, swift as the wind, heed my call." she said and a portal opened and Sonic came falling down along with two chili dogs.

"Wwwwwooooooooaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!" Sonic yelled and face-planted on the ground and quickly went to catch his chili dogs. "Hey... Where am I?"

"Being from a distant world, please forgive my abrupt summons." she said and he started to look around and ate one chili dog.

"Oh! I get it. No problem. I'm used to stuff like this." he said, quickly took out the enemies and caught his last chili dog.

He was about to attack the Black Knight but was stopped.

"No! You mustn't!" Merlina said and pulled him back, making him drop his chili dog.

Then she made a small twister around them and Sonic saw his chili dog fly away.

"Nooooo!" he said and they disappeared.

The Black Knight flew up to a cliff and there were three knight kneeling down to him.

"I shall give chase. Spread out and go after them. Slay them on sight." he said then flew away and all three nodded.

"Let's go." Percival said.

"Must we? She is the Royal Wizard after all." Gawain said.

"The King's orders are absolute, Gawain." Lancelot said.

"I know, but..."

"Without loyalty to the king we are nothing." Percival said and Lancelot nodded and he and Gawain started walking. "Still, the King... He has changed, and this kingdom..." he said and Gawain and Percival walked away.

Inside Merlina, the Dark Queen was sitting on a throne.

"I've been expecting you." she said.

"Just one question before we settle this. Why'd you do it? Weren't we trying to save this kingdom from the Underworld?" Sonic asked.

"This kingdom will fail one way or another. Such is its fate."

"Huh?"

"Do you know what is to become of this kingdom?"

"Beats me." he said and she started walking forward.

"Lancelot and Gawain's rift shall doom the Round Table. Arthur is struck down by his son Mordred and departs for Avalon."

"Hmmm."

"This was to be our ideal world, but it will not last. King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table will end in ruin. The King Arthur my grandfather Merlin created led to nothing but mistakes, but I can succeed with the power of the scabbard, creating a kingdom that never ends." she said and used a small portal to summon a flower.

"What good is a world that goes on forever!?"

"My sorrow and its ruin runs deeper than the depths of the Underworld. Do you not understand?"

"No, and I don't want to!" he said and charged at her but she used a force field to repel him. "Ugh!"

"Your efforts are futile."

He charged again but with a series of rapid slashes. Then he was repelled once again.

"No way." he said as a dark creature with many tentacles formed behind Merlina.

"Sonic!" Caliburn said and Sonic's hand and guarded him.

"Caliburn."

"Fool! A knight but always be on his guard!"

Merlina's creature slashed Caliburn in half.

"Noo!" Sonic said and charged at her but was hit back.

"It is time to end this." Merlina said.

He screamed and was rapidly thrashed by the creature.

Meanwhile Nimue, Percival, Lancelot, and Gawain were watching form a portal above.

"Sir Sonic, you've done enough." Percival said but Sonic got back up.

"No Sonic! There is no point in continuing." Lancelot said.

"A knight never flees his or her foe, right?" Sonic said then was hit one again.

"You fool! This no longer has anything to do with chivalry. Get out of there! Run!" Gawain said.

"It was never about chivalry for me. I've just got to do what I've got to do."

"Sonic!" Lancelot, Gawain and Percival said and a golden light appeared from the portal.

"The long lost light of the scared sword. Quick! Your swords!" Nimue said.

Then the three scared swords were tossed in the light and it traveled to Sonic.

After that Sonic gained a golden armor and a red cape. Caliburn was reborn and transforms.

"Woah!" Sonic said.

"That's the greatest of the sacred swords, Excalibur." Nimue said.

"Ha! Let's do this!" he said and charged toward.

After the fight.

"Merlina... every world has its end. I know that's kinda sad, but that's why we've got to live life to its fullest in the time we have." Sonic said and gave her a flower. "At least that's what I figure."

"Grandfather..." Merlina said holding the flower close.

Caliburn, Nimue, Percival, Gawain, and Lancelot got closer.

"Well done Sir Sonic." Percival said.

"Thanks to you guys." Sonic said.

"You can say that again." Caliburn said.

"To think King Arthur was but an illusion." Gawain said.

"The Knights of the Round Table must now disband." Lancelot said.

"What foolishness is this?" Caliburn asked.

"I'll say." Nimue said.

"Hmmm, what are you saying then?" Percival asked.

"Have you forgotten who I am? I am the sacred sword Caliburn. I am who decides who is worthy of the crown. So then..."

Lancelot, Gawain and Percival stared shockingly at Sonic while Nimue smiled at her

"YOU?" Gawain said.

"You are the one and true King Arthur!?" Lancelot, Gawain and Percival said.

"Who, me?" Sonic said and all three bowed down to him. "Huh? Hey cut that out!"

They might walk on you now

It had been three years and Sonic stood there looking at Eggman while three people stood there watching.

"I've had enough of this! I've been fighting you since I joined the Freedom Fighters when uncle Chuck took me in after you took them away from me!" Sonic said. "You took everyone away from me! Uncle Chuck, Sonia, Manic, Cyrus, everyone!" he said and fought Dark Sonic from coming.

"Yes. I took them away from you and you've been fighting me ever since with the team until they left you!" Eggman said.

"THEY ONLY LEFT ME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY WANT! After all the shit you've caused they've been through enough to earn a break!"

"And what about you? You're alone Sonic! Sonic Underground is gone, Team Sonic left you, you left the Freedom Fighters and past Resistance! You have no one!"

Sonic shut his eyes fighting tears and his anger then hit his medallion and let out his guitar.

"I DON'T CARE!" he yelled and got Eggman with his laser while two of the three people watching gasped in shock. "I AM SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! PRINCE OF MOBIUS AND SON OF QUEEN ALEENA!" he yelled and got him again.

While he did that the three people watching stood there in shock, worried and two of them confused.

Sure enough all the robots were done and Eggman was on his back groaning.

"You wouldn't kill me." Eggman said and Sonic glared at him.

"Watch me." Sonic said, put his guitar away, went into a Sonic Spin and used the sharp part of him to get Eggman in the stomach.

Then he stood there panting and strong.

"Have fun in Hell." he said and punched him.

Soon Eggman stopped breathing and Sonic looked at him strong.

But they'll walk on your star

Then he heard footsteps and turned around to see Tails, Knuckles and Amy.

"Guys?" he said and realized that they were watching. "Oh shit." he said and started to have a panic attack. "Oh shit!" he said again.

Tails started to walk over to him but was stopped by Knuckles who shook his head.

"I got this." Knuckles said and Tails nodded and he walked over to Sonic. "Sonic? It's Knuckles. I need you to breathe for me. Can you do that?" he said gently and Sonic slowly started to calm down. "That's it."

Then finally Sonic calmed down and started crying so Knuckles held him close.

"I can't take it anymore Knuckles. I've been trying to find her and end him for years!" Sonic said and cried.

"I know. But you ended him and can focus on finding her. Then you can try and get Sonia, Manic and everyone else back using the Chaos Emeralds as Super Sonic." Knuckles said gently and Sonic nodded and started to calm down.

Tails and Amy stood there quietly as Shadow and Rouge came.

"You're back!" Rouge said and gave them a hug while Shadow watched Sonic and Knuckles.

Then Sonic and Knuckles looked at them then each other.

"They need to know." Knuckles said and Sonic looked at him. "I know you don't want to but we just saw you use your medallion and yelled out who you are. It's time." he said and Sonic nodded.

Then they looked at the others and Tails flew over to him and gave him a hug.

"I missed you." Tails said.

"I missed you to buddy." Sonic said and held him close followed by Knuckles.

Team Sonic was back together.

Amy couldn't help but smile.

You're gonna take the title like the champion you are

Then they let go and Sonic gave Amy a hug.

"What was that?" Amy asked.

"Let's head to Sonic's and then we'll explain." Knuckles said and they nodded.

Then they headed to Sonic's house.

When they got there they sat down with Knuckles next to Sonic for support and Sonic sighed.

"You know I've been fighting Eggman for years right?" he asked and they nodded. "Well, I've been fighting him since I was a kid. My mom is Queen Aleena and my brother and sister were Sonia and Manic. When I lost my foster parents uncle Chuck took me in and I joined the Freedom Fighters. When I got older I became their weapon because of my speed. When I was 13 I found out about my mom, Sonia and Manic. We met a few days later and lost our family. Then we created Sonic Underground and tried to stop Robotnik. One day I was on a mission with a friend from the Resistance and while I was gone Sonia and Manic were captured by Sleet and Dingo and were robotacized. When I found out I was heartbroken because I was alone. I went to tell Knuckles and he joined me to stop Robotnik. Throughout the years I tried to end him and find my mom but I couldn't find her anywhere." he said and took a shaky breath.

Knuckles looked at him and decided to take it from there.

"I stuck with him because he, Sonia and Manic are my best friends and, I love Sonia. While we started working together I stuck with him and he stuck with me. If one of us was down thinking about them the other would hold them close and remind them we have each other. When we met Tails and let him join us we tried not to get upset that often. When we split up I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing and now I regret leaving him. Now that Robotnik is gone all he has to do is find his mom and then figure out how to get Sonia and Manic back. Then they'll create the Council of Four and get Mobius back." Knuckles said and they nodded and he looked at Sonic. "I shouldn't have left you. You've been through hell and needed at least one of us. I'm sorry." he said and Sonic nodded.

"We're all sorry." Tails said and Sonic looked at them. "If we knew I wouldn't have left you."

"It's OK." Sonic said quietly.

"No it's not." Knuckles said.

"He's right. We left you alone and to take care of Eggman by yourself." Amy said.

"And we didn't do anything either." Rouge said feeling guilty. "I'm sorry Blue."

"You two and Omega were busy with GUN. And besides, you're Team Dark while me, Tails and Knuckles are Team Sonic. We've been rivals for years." Sonic said.

"Still, we should've kept an eye on you." Shadow said shocking them all. "We can help you now though. With Doctor gone we can help you find your mother." he said and they nodded.

Sonic looked at them and then Knuckles who smiled and nodded.

"With Tails equipment and two spies I'm sure we'll find her." Knuckles said and Sonic smiled and nodded.

"And then we can find Sonia and Manic and fix them!" Tails said.

"I don't know if that'll work but it's worth a shot." Sonic said. "Now, let's get to work!" he said and they cheered.

From Ibiza to L.A., London to Qatar

While they looked for Aleena people started thanking Sonic for ending Eggman and Sonic knew he was going to get a lot of attention now.

Sure enough it had been two weeks and Tails had found her.

"She's in some place called Robotropolis." Tails said and Sonic and Knuckles looked at each other.

"Oh shit." they said and Sonic grabbed the Chaos Emeralds, turned into Super Sonic and then Chaos Controlled them there.

"What is this place?" Amy asked.

"Eggman's place when he went by Robotnik. Mobotropolis." Super Sonic said and they gasped while Knuckles nodded.

Then he saw someone and froze.

"S-Sonic." he said and Super Sonic looked at him who pointed and he looked and froze.

"Sonia, Manic." they said and the others looked.

Then Super Sonic started to panic and had trouble keeping the Super in him but Knuckles helped calmed down.

"Let's go." Knuckles said and Super Sonic nodded.

"You get Sonia, I got Manic." Super Sonic said and Knuckles nodded and they ran or flew to them.

When they got there they dodged a shot and used everything they had to stop them.

Tails, Amy, Shadow and Rouge watched them and felt heartbroken at seeing this.

"Guys it's us! Sonic and Knuckles!" Knuckles said while he held Sonia and Super Sonic held Manic.

"Your brother and best friend!" Super Sonic said.

"Screw it!" Knuckles said and kissed Sonia.

The others watched in shock as he did that while Super Sonic smiled.

Then he let go and Sonia looked at him and she and Manic came back.

"Knuckles?" Sonia said and Knuckles felt tears rolling down his eyes.

"Hi." Knuckles said.

"Sonic?" Manic said.

"Yeah. It's us." Super Sonic said with tears going down to.

Then they gave a group hug and the others smiled.

"What happened and, what are you?" Sonia asked looking at Super Sonic and Knuckles.

"It's a long story." Super Sonic said.

"It really is guys." Knuckles said, looked at Super Sonic and nodded.

"Hold still guys. We have a little experiment to do with you." Super Sonic said confusing them.

Then he took a deep breath, raised his hand and focused on every energy he had.

"CHAOS CONTROL!" he yelled and aimed at them.

Everyone covered their eyes while light went off.

'Jesus, if he can do this that strong I'm starting to wonder if he has any of my powers! Maybe I'll ask him later.' Shadow thought.

When it was done Super Sonic was panting and feeling the Super wanting to come out.

Then he felt Knuckles holding him for support and looking at him worried.

"I'm OK." Super Sonic said and they looked at Sonia and Manic to see them back to normal.

"Oh my God." they said together.

"It, it worked! I did it!" Super Sonic said and hugged them with tears going down again followed by Knuckles.

Then Knuckles pulled Sonia close and kissed her and she kissed him back.

Super Sonic and Manic smirked.

Then they stopped and panted.

"I love you. Since the day we met after we got to know each other better." Knuckles said.

"I love you too." Sonia said.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." she said and they kissed again.

Then they stopped and held each other close.

"God I missed you guys." Knuckles said.

"Did you find her yet?" Manic asked and Super Sonic smiled.

"Thanks to my smart buddy we got a finding of her here." Super Sonic said and they smiled.

"Really?!" they said and he and Knuckles nodded.

"Guys, these are Tails, Amy, Shadow and Rouge." he said and they waved.

"Nice to meet you." Sonia said smiling.

"Yo." Manic said smiling to.

"Hi! I'm Tails." Tails said smiling.

"Tails is my best buddy and works with me and Knuckles creating Team Sonic." Super Sonic said smiling.

"I'm Amy Rose. Nice to meet you." Amy said. "I'm the leader of Team Rose."

"I'm Rouge and leader of Team Dark." Rouge said.

"I'm Shadow and a member of Team Dark." Shadow said.

"Teams?" Manic said.

"Yeah. Me, Sonic and Tails are Team Sonic, Shadow, Rouge and one of Buttnik's robots Omega are Team Dark and Amy, a rabbit named Cream and a cat named Big are Team Rose. Together we're Sonic Heroes." Knuckles said holding Sonia close.

"What exactly are you and why are you yellow?" Sonia asked looking at Super Sonic.

"Oh, um, turns out there are seven small emeralds and together me, Shadow and another friend named Silver can become Super. As you can see. Chaos Control, healing and more." Super Sonic said and they nodded.

Then they heard Tails' machine go off and he looked at it.

"She's closer." Tails said and they nodded.

"Well let's go then!" Manic said and they nodded and followed it.

Throughout the way they bumped into a few robots and worked together as a team to destroy them.

Sonia and Manic knew Sonic had gotten better and stronger since he lost them.

They had missed a lot and both knew it. They knew it was hard for Sonic but happy he made new friends and Knuckles stuck with him.

Soon all the robots were gone and they saw her standing there.

They looked at her and she looked at them back.

"Mom." they said together.

"Aleena." Knuckles said.

"Sonic, Manic, Sonia." Aleena said and held them close.

While she did that Super Sonic had trouble staying formed from exhaustion but knew this was the best way for them to get home.

Then they let go and she looked at them smiling.

"Let's go to Sonic's place. I can tell he's ready to pass out and the best way to get out of here is him." Knuckles said and she looked at Super Sonic to see him exhausted and nodded.

"Ready?" Super Sonic asked and they nodded. "OK. Chaos Control!" he said and they were gone.

A few seconds later they were at Sonic's and he was back to normal Sonic passing out in Shadow's arms.

Rouge smirked while Shadow turned a little red.

Knuckles snickered and gently took Sonic and put him on the couch.

Everyone but Sonic knew that Shadow has a crush on him but hides it and acts like he hates him.

"Now that we're at Sonic's we can let him get some sleep and I'll tell you what we've been doing and how long it's been." Knuckles said and they nodded and sat down at the table.

While he told them Tails added a few things he missed and they were shocked at what Sonic had become and how long it had been.

"Then a few years ago we left him causing him to work alone. That's one thing I'll never forgive myself for doing." Knuckles said shaking his head and the others nodded. "He's grown up so much over the years and is a great leader." he said smiling a little. "When Infinite happened and he was captured I took the lead and realized that Sonic had been doing this since he was a kid and had plenty of experience while I had none and didn't know what to do. I had been following him since he came and told me what happened. When he was found I was so happy, relieved and knew everything was going to be OK now."

"When I saw him I was as relieved as Knuckles." Tails said.

"We all were." Rouge said. "When he came back he and Knuckles worked together leading the Resistance and they made a great team."

Aleena, Sonia and Manic were shocked but happy Sonic had done all that and he could lead them.

"We never told anyone what he truly is. He wasn't ready and wanted to wait until he found you to tell anyone. I agreed and we kept it quiet." Knuckles said.

"That hurt by the way." Tails said and Knuckles winced.

"Sorry, I brought it up and he thought about it but didn't feel ready." he said and Tails nodded.

Aleena smiled happy Sonic had friends and a team while Sonia and Manic were gone.

Then they heard Sonic groan and looked at him to see him tossing and turning.

"Your fault. Your fault." he muttered and Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Rouge and Shadow looked at each other knowing what it was and got up.

"Sonic? Sonic wake up!" Tails said and rubbed him to be punched. "Ow!" he said and rubbed his nose. "I deserve that."

"Sonic calm down! It's just a dream!" Knuckles said and held him close.

Then Sonic woke up panting and looked around to see he was home and Knuckles was holding him.

"Knux? Tails?" Sonic said and they nodded.

"It was just a dream." Knuckles said gently and let go. "We're all right here and not going anywhere." he said and Sonic nodded.

Then he looked at Aleena, Sonia and Manic.

"Hey bro." Manic said.

"How you feeling?" Sonia asked.

"Tired and went overboard with three Chaos Controls." Sonic said and he, Tails and Knuckles chuckled while Shadow looked at him and Sonic noticed. "What?" he asked and they looked at Shadow.

"I'm just thinking, if you have what I do." Shadow said and they all looked at him in shock then Sonic for an answer.

"Maybe? When I was captured he did some experiments on me."

"WHAT?!" they all yelled in shock.

"He experimented on me and said he was curious about how much like Shadow I am. I don't know if he gave me anything."

"Hmm. We'll look into that later." Shadow said and Sonic nodded while Tails and Knuckles sat next to him.

You're gonna take the title like the champion you are

"So, you're a prince huh?" Rouge said.

"Yeah. Just didn't know about it until I was 13. That was a hell of a surprise." he said and they chuckled.

"Tell me about it. I was surprised when you guys came and told me. I felt so guilty after attacking you." Knuckles said.

"Ah whatever. We're used to it." Sonic said and stopped. "Or at least I am." he said and Sonia and Manic winced.

"You know what just hit me?" Manic said.

"What?" Sonia asked.

"With us being robotacized and Sonic not, that means we're not exactly triplets anymore. We're still looking 14 while Sonic is um, how old?"

"21." Sonic said surprising them both.

"Doesn't that mean he technically has to take the crown?"

Then it hit them all and looked at Aleena who nodded.

"He's the oldest so he will be taking it when we have Mobotropolis back." Aleena said.

Sonic sat there in shock and knew he was the best they had after leading his teams and being the one to defeat Robotnik himself.

"OK then. This will be interesting but I don't have anything else to do now that he's gone." Sonic said.

"Good point." Tails said.

Then it hit the three of them and they groaned.

"Oh great!" they said.

"What?" Amy asked.

"Now that he's gone Sonic is going to get a lot more attention and they're probably gonna be angry at us for leaving him." Knuckles said. "Or at least me and Tails."

Amy, Shadow and Rouge winced knowing they're right.

"Yeah that sounds about right." Rouge said.

"You'll get used to it." Manic said and Sonic sighed but nodded.

A week later Sonic, Sonia, Manic and Aleena had created the Council of Four and with Shadow and Silver's help using Super everyone Roboticized was back to normal.

As they thought people weren't happy with Tails and Knuckles leaving Sonic but Sonic had stood by their side defending them.

Sonic and Shadow were together finishing a lesson of what Sonic can do.

"That was pretty good." Shadow said.

"Thanks." Sonic said and they stood there quietly.

Then Shadow looked at him.

'Just tell him.' he thought and took a deep breath.

"I love you." Shadow said and Sonic looked at him in shock.

"Come again?" Sonic said.

"I love you. It just took me a while to figure it out."

Sonic stood there and smiled.

"I love you too." he said and Shadow smiled.

Sonic shut his eyes and they held each other close.

When they stopped they panted and smiled.

"I've wanted to do that for so long." Shadow said.

"Well now you can do it whenever you want." Sonic said.

"Oh believe me, I will." Shadow said, held him close and kissed him again.

"King Sonic of Mobius." the priest said.

"King Sonic of Mobius." everyone said and Sonic smiled.
