AN: So, I decided to make another Amy x Trip short story! This takes place after the events of my previous fanfic, Always By Each Others side, so Amy and Trip are already a couple in this story! I hope you enjoy this new fanfic of mine!
Tarot Cards
Ever since Amy and Trip became a couple, they ended up learning about each others interests. That was when Amy decided to show Trip her deck of tarot cards. The two girlfriends sat at a table, where Trip gazed at Amy's tarot cards in surprise.
"So, these are the tarot cards you told me about?" Trip asked, curious.
"That's right!" Amy replied as she started to set up the tarot cards on the table. "I've always been fascinated by tarot cards because they can predict the future and tell you what your destiny is!"
"Wow! That's amazing!" Trip exclaimed before noticing a card laying on the ground. "Oh, I think you dropped one, Amy."
At that moment, Trip picked up the card before handing it to Amy. Curious, Amy took a look at the card to see that it had the image of a knight in shining armor. This was a surprise to her since she never thought she'd see that card again.
"Oh, it's this card again!" Amy remembered.
"What is it?" Trip asked.
At that moment, Amy turned the card around to show Trip the image of the knight. "Well, before we became a couple, I ended up choosing this card during one of my fortune readings. I kind of interpreted it as me getting together with Sonic." Amy said with a nervous grin.
Intrigued by the card, Trip stepped closer to get a better look at it. "That was when you first met Sonic on Little Planet, right?"
Amy nodded. "Yes. While Sonic was trying to stop Eggman from taking over the future, I was kind of stalking him the whole time, so maybe I was a little too obsessed with Sonic back then. Since it didn't work out between us, it seems that my fortune didn't come true after all."
Curious, Trip gazed at the card for a few moments in silence. Thinking back to all the time she spent with Amy, Trip soon realized that Amy's fortune really did become a reality.
"Actually, I think your fortune did come true. Right before we became a couple, I saved you from Eggman's badniks, remember?"
As she thought back to that day, Amy remembered the moment when Trip saved her. When she was in danger and overrun with badniks, Trip rush over to her side and carried her to safety. It was at that point when the two of them gained the courage to confess their love for each other.
"Hey, you're right!" Amy exclaimed. "It was right after you saved me when we became girlfriends! Guess my fortune really did come true!"
Trip nodded in agreement. "Maybe we can see what the future would hold for the two of us!"
"Great idea!" Amy replied, curious with what her fortune would be this time.
With that, Amy placed the rest of the cards on the table. She shuffled the cards around and began her fortune reading before getting three cards as a result. The cards had an image of a pink hedgehog, an image of a heart, and an image of a dragon. The two girlfriends soon smiled at one another, knowing exactly what this meant. They both soon kissed each other on the lips, happy that they have a bright future together.
