This is just a idea of how the Percy Jackson books came to life from the demigods point of view.
Annabeth sat at the cafe with her friends, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Grover, Nico and Reyna as they waited for Percy to show up.
"He is coming, right?" Reyna asked, looking bored. Annabeth nodded as she and Nico shared a look. At that moment, Percy walked in the cafe, searching for them. A smile came on his face as he walked over.
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late, I lost track of time." He explained and Nico and Annabeth shared another look, they both knew it wasn't true. "So, why are we all here?" Percy continued.
"We don't know either, Annabeth had an idea and wouldn't tell us until you got here." Piper explained. Percy nodded and they all turned to Annabeth. She pulled out a bag and with that a few journals and pens.
"As you all know, we all went on multiple quests. Me, Percy and Grover more but I had an idea and I think the idea would help other demigods maybe." Annabeth rambled.
"Well, what's the idea then, Chase?" Reyna asked.
"I want us to write diaries. Of all the events that happened. I know every single one of us here can probably remember our quests word for word, it's hard not to. I also know Jason kept track of his point of view on the quests but Nico has agreed to go to Elysium and talk to him for permission before we read it."
"Do we have to write everything?" Percy asked. Annabeth nodded.
"For the first five books, Percy you'll write them and then the next five books we will all work together on. Mainly because different things happened at different times. Basically, what we will do is the first book in the second set will be from Jason, Piper and Leo's point of view since it was their quest. Second will be Percy, Hazel and Frank. Third will be me, Percy, Leo and Piper, fourth book Percy, me, Piper, Jason, Leo, Hazel and Frank and then finally the fifth book will be Jason, Leo, Piper, Percy, me, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Nico and then Reyna. The first set will all be Percy." Annabeth explains. Everyone nods.
"Alright, that sounds like a good idea, Wise Girl." Percy says. Everyone nods in agreement again.
"Percy, why don't you start the first book then, yeah?" Annabeth slides him over a journal and a pen. Percy sighs, opens it and titles the first page, "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief". He shows Annabeth and Grover who smiles.
"One book for each quest, yeah?" Grover asks and Percy nods, then writes the first line of chapter 1 which is 'I Accidentally Vaporise My Pre-Algebra Teacher'.
Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood….
