Please wake up-Part 3
OnceUponAChloe asked for a part 3 of "Please wake up". I'm glad people seem to like those oneshots, but this will be the last part I will write for that chapter. I've enjoyed writing them, but I always wanted this to be a series of oneshots, and don't want to have it go on too much. Still accepting suggestions, just no more for another part of "Please wake up" :)
On that note, to the guest who asked for a Snowing date oneshot, I'm afraid I already have two on this series. :)
Emma looked at the board that was placed opposite her bed. On it was a set of pictures of people who were supposed to be "friendly faces" to her. No matter how many times she asked, nobody would tell her exactly how she was supposed to know some of these people. What was even more frustrating was the people who she wasn't get any information about were the people who visited her most often. The guy with the blonde hair, David. The kid, Henry. And the lady with the short black hair. She wasn't even getting a name from her. Every time she asked the woman just smiled, saying she would wait until Emma remembered it. But what if she never did? How was Emma meant to know that was her mom? That Snow was too weird a name for someone who'd lost all memory, and that Mary Margaret just didn't feel right anymore.
Emma would stare at all these pictures for hours at a time. Sometimes it felt like little memories were seeping through. A hug here, a smile there. Something told her she loved these people. That they were almost like her family. But no, Emma must just be giving in to her imagination. Emma Swan had no family. But she couldn't help herself. Every time one of them came to visit she couldn't help but react a little more warmly to them. Something inside her told her it was ok to love these people. And she hoped that one day soon she'd understand why.
