Chapter 3 Connection

Over in Paris, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was arriving at Françoise Dupont Middle School/High School, where she saw her best friend Alya Césaire with a excited look on her face.
"What's up?" Asked Marinette.
"I just found another past version of Ladybug." Said Alya.
"How?" Asked Marinette.
"Well I met this girl called Vivi on my Ladyblog and she's apparently the descendant of a Ladybug from Japan." Said Alya as she pulled out her phone and showed Marinette a picture of the past Ladybug.
"Neat." Said Marinette looking at the picture.
"Apparently Vivi is a big mystery loving and she just discovered this connection. Now she and a couple of her mystery solving friends are going to make a trip to Paris to meet Ladybug and investigate the connection." Said Alya.
"What?" Asked Marinette in surprise.
"I know it's a bit crazy, but Vivi really loves mysteries and there's an apartment open in my building, so she and her friends have a place to stay, when they get here. Who knows maybe Vivi and her friends might discover Hawk Moth's secret identity and expose him. That would be cool." Said Alya.
"Guess that would be cool. Can't wait to meet them." Said Marinette.
"Cool. I'll send you a picture of Vivi so you'll know what she looks like." Said Alya sending Marinette a picture through her phone before walking.
Marinette looked at the picture and was a bit surprised to see Vivi looked quite a bit like the past Ladybug.
"What do you make of this Tikki?" Marinette to her tiny Kwami partner riding in her purse.
Tikki flew out of the bag and examined the picture of Vivi and the past Ladybug.
"Well that's indeed a past Miraculous holder and Vivi looks a bit like her. It could just be a coincidence or maybe Vivi possibly a reincarnation of her ancestor." Said Tikki.
"Is that a good or bad thing?" Asked Marinette.
"Hard to say without really meeting Vivi. If she is a reincarnation she could help us and figure out Hawkmoth's secret identity like Alya said." Said Tikki.
"Guess we just have to wait and see." Said Marinette as Tikki flew back into her purse and they headed off to class.
