Beach wear

Elizabeth asked for a oneshot of the entire family spends a day on the beach. Emma's parent's reaction to her in a bikini. Snow is a bit jealous (In a loving way) and charming is making a fuss that she's showing too much skin. I know you asked for Hook to be there too but I try and avoid Emma ships where I can :)

It was a fairly pleasant summer's day: not too hot, but certainly not cold. Snow had decided it was, in fact, the perfect day to have a family trip to the beach. So they'd packed a picnic in the truck and all set off for Storybrooke bay.

Snow was standing in the small changing area of the beach in her swimsuit with a sarong wrapped around her waist waiting on Emma. She heard the door of Emma's cubicle click open and looked up. Just a little bit of Snow couldn't help but feel very jealous. She looked at her daughter, her envy clearly showing. Emma was standing happily in her new bikini, her stretch marks from having Henry faded to nearly invisible. Having only had Neal six months ago hers were still fresh. Neal had brought back her marks from carrying Emma as well as adding some stretch marks of his own.

"What? Is there still a tag or something?" Emma asked, catching her mom staring. Fortunately Snow had her sunglasses on so Emma couldn't see the envy.

"No." Snow sighed. "You're fine. It's just your stomach…it's so darn flat." She grumbled. Emma just laughed.

"Mom, you're fine. Your baby weight is going quicker and quicker. Your stretch marks don't look that bad I'm sure. Just get another curse cast. They did wonders for you last time." Emma joked. Snow gave a faint smile but Emma could see her mom hadn't fully seen the funny side.

"I'm sorry." Emma said quietly. "I didn't think…"

"It's alright." Snow said, linking her arm with Emma's. "I'm just being silly. Come on, let's go have some sandwiches."

"Just be careful!" David called as Henry ran off towards the water. He was desperate to go for a swim, so David told him he could have a little one before their picnic. He sat down on the blanket, Neal on his lap. "Don't you worry buddy, we'll get you in later." He assured his son. Neal didn't seem too fussed, he was quite content with his little set of baby keys to chew. A wolf whistle in the distance made him turn his head. He looked round and groaned.

"Neal, have a word with your big sister, would you?" He asked his son, holding him up. All he got in response was a gurgle. David sighed, kissing his son's head. "That's what I thought. Guess I'm doing it then." He turned back to his wife and daughter, walking arm in arm towards him. He didn't miss the wondering eyes looking at his daughter as she passed the others on the beach. She seemed to be either oblivious to them, or ignoring them. Either way, Charming didn't miss them.

"Hey." Snow greeted him, settling herself beside him on the blanket.

"Hi." He said back, still watching Emma as she sat down opposite them, waving to Henry in the ocean. "Emma, it's an awful hot day. You're rather exposed. Wouldn't want you getting sunburnt, couldn't you put a t-shirt on or something?" He asked her. If she didn't have her sunglasses on, he would have seen her roll her eyes.

"That, dear father, is why they invented sun cream. Mom can help me put it on my back. Besides, we're under the parasol right now." Emma told him.

"Oh I'm with your father." Snow chimed in. "A t-shirt will cover you better than the sun cream, especially if you go for a swim…" She said, giving Emma a cheeky grin.

"You're just saying that because you have an issue with my stomach." Emma grumbled.

"Well your stomach is further down on my list, so will you please put a t-shirt on or something?" David pleaded. He could still sense people staring at her and he didn't want to get blood on his new swimming trunks. Emma just laid back under the shade of the parasol.

"I'm good thanks." She answered him. Snow bit her lip to contain a giggle as she watched her husband. She could see his eye twitching. Every so often she was rather grateful they hadn't raised a teen Emma, even if it did mean her stretch marks would have faded by now.
