Cauliflower
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma getting into trouble from her mom and going to her dad for protection. OUAT-Aholic, I did get your request but I've started back uni now so I have less time. This means I'll have to be a bit stricter with my sequels lol. I will get around to it at some point, promise! Still taking requests for oneshots, may be a bit slower getting them out but I'll always be as fast as I can with them.
"Emma, for goodness sake you're a grown woman!" Snow snapped. "You can cope with a few little pieces of cauliflower in your system I'm sure!" Emma looked disgustedly at her plate. She went to push it away again but the stern look Snow was giving her made her think again. Instead she sighed, slumping down slightly in her chair.
"A grown woman who doesn't like cauliflower." She grumbled.
"Or any other vegetable. Emma, I'm just trying to make sure you're getting some proper nutrition into your body so when you eat here, you will eat your vegetables." Snow insisted. Emma decided to try a new tactic. She stopped looking at the cauliflower like it had grown wings and looked at her dad with the best puppy dog eyes she could muster.
"Oh no…" Charming said, when he saw what Emma was up to. "Emma, don't look at me like that, that's not fair…" Charming complained.
"I don't like cauliflower." Emma said in a sad little voice. One look at her husband and Snow knew Emma was well on her way to winning him over. She rolled her eyes.
"Again, grown woman! Don't go trying to get your father to take your side. He's on my side. Isn't that right, Charming?" Snow said in a serious tone. Charming looked over to his wife pitifully. "You agree Emma needs some vegetables in her system from time to time, don't you?" Snow prompted him. Charming looked torn. Both these women were very capable of making his life miserable if he took their side. But if he took neither side they'd both be at it and he's never get a break.
"Um…" He said, trying to stall. Both Snow and Emma stared at him, waiting. He sighed, how could he deny that face? "Like you said Snow, she's a big girl. If she decides to not eat well what can we do?" Emma grinned triumphantly and Snow narrowed her eyes dangerously. Charming now knew for certain he was sleeping on the couch tonight.
