Henry's surprise
FictionLover12 asked for a oneshot of Snow catching Emma doing something nice for Henry's birthday. She then decides to help.
Snow peered suspiciously at her daughter. She'd never seen Emma near the sowing machine in her life, and now suddenly she was at it for hours every evening.
"What exactly is it you're up to?" Snow asked her curiously. "I didn't even know you could sow."
"A few years of home ec class taught me the basics." Emma responded. "It's for Henry's birthday, a surprise for him."
"Oh?" Snow said, intrigued. She got up and came over beside Emma. "And what exactly is this surprise?" She asked. Emma nodded to Henry's storybook which was open beside her.
"I thought I'd have a go at making him some Enchanted Forest gear." She told her mother. "I thought he'd like that." Snow smiled, she thought it was a wonderful idea of a present for Henry."
"Well then," Snow said, pulling up a chair and sitting beside her daughter. "Tell me what I can do."
