Never coming home.

Melissa, I know you had other things in your request but I have covered them in previous chapters :). However, I have not covered Emma going after a runaway Neal so here it is!

"Want some cocoa?" Neal jumped at the voice. He turned around from his hiding place in the park. He saw his sister standing there, a slightly amused look on her face.

"No." He said grumpily. Emma bit her lip to stop herself from laughing.

"You sure, it's going to get awful cold if you're spending the night out here." Neal had announced to the family about fifteen minutes ago that he was running away and never coming back. Emma had volunteered to follow him and make sure he was safe.

"I have my blanket in my bag if I get cold." He huffed.

"I see." Emma said, sitting down beside him. "Still going to get awful cold. Wouldn't you be more comfortable in your nice warm bed?" Emma tempted.

"No. I'm not going home."

"Mommy's crying, you know." Emma lied. Snow knew Neal would be fine with Emma there, she wasn't crying. But Emma knew her brother was very much like their dad. A little charmer. He didn't like anyone getting upset, but especially his mom.

"She is?" He asked, sounding guilty. Emma nodded gravely.

"Sure is. All sad her little boy has gone away and isn't coming back…" Neal suddenly grabbed his rucksack and took Emma's hand.

"I'm coming mommy!" He said, speeding off. Emma smiled. What a little cutie.
