A baby's siren

Dutchwriter asked for a oneshot of the Charmings taking Neal swimming for the first time.

"That good, huh buddy?" Snow cooed to her baby boy as he kicked his legs happily. Charming chuckled on the other side of him.

"Just be careful little man. Could still be a siren down there!" He said, tickling his tummy, getting a squeal of laughter.

"Don't worry, I checked with the lifeguard. Storybrooke pool is free of sirens." She joked.

"Just as well. Not sure I could cope with two Snows before me." Charming teased, gently kissing her. Snow rolled her eyes.

"Daddy's such a charmer, isn't he?" She asked the little boy, gently moving Neal's floaty seat back and forth in the water. Neal looked down, amazed. Charming chuckled.

"He's quite the water baby huh?" He mentioned. Snow nodded in agreement.

"Indeed he is. But no sirens for you buddy. What do sirens look like for babies anyway?" Snow wondered aloud. Charming shrugged.

"I don't know…giant bottles?" He suggested. At this Neal started to pout and whimper slightly. Snow couldn't help but laugh.

"It would appear your son disagrees…and is also hungry. Is that your first swim over bubba?" She asked, picking him up out of the seat. "Did you enjoy that, ay? Will we come again soon? Come on, let's get you dry and get you some lunch." Snow told him, carrying him to the side. Charming got out first and took their son out, taking him over to the changing rooms. As he did he couldn't help but have a glance back just to be sure. Nope, no giant bottles swimming menacingly at the bottom of the pool.
