A cold mother
Spoilers! Lots of people have asked for a oneshot of the Snow Queen being Emma's foster mom.
As soon as she came into the room Emma had her gun up, aiming it at her head.
"Get out." She snarled. Snow and Charming jumped slightly, not expecting the Snow Queen's arrival, even though it seemed Emma was expecting it. Charming immediately pulled his own gun out and joined Emma as Snow put Neal in crib and flanked Emma on her other side. The Snow Queen just gave Emma a condescending smile.
"Emsie, do you really think that will work?" She asked.
"Don't call me that! You don't have that right!" Emma barked.
"Emsie?" Snow questioned. "What's going on?" The Snow Queen cocked her head to the side.
"Oh Emsie, haven't you told them yet? Dear dear…"
"What is going on?" Snow repeated, becoming agitated.
"She used to be my foster mom." Emma told her parents, without lowering her gun. "She must have made me forget…I was with her for a couple of years. She was never bad exactly. Just cold. Which I suppose makes sense now. But then she had better things to do than look after me. Your parting advice was 'I can tell already your looks are never going to get you anywhere, or your brains. Good luck, you're going to need it.' Isn't that right?" Emma asked her.
"Now Emsie, don't be like that. I had to go. I didn't want to leave you, I thought if you were mad at me it would be easier…"
"Shut up." Charming growled. "You heard her. Get out." He had heard enough of her spite. How dare someone talk to his little girl like that! The Snow Queen simply rolled her eyes.
"I don't like being interrupted." She said coolly.
"And we don't like people who hurt our daughter. So either leave now or leave with your eyes clawed out by me." Snow growled ferociously. The Snow Queen let out a little laugh.
"As if you could get that close." She laughed. "But it's alright, I'll humour you and leave…for now. Emma will come running to me soon enough."
"Like Hell I will!" Emma yelled at her.
"We shall see, my little sweetheart…"
"She's not your sweetheart!" Snow cut in. "She's ours. And we'll make sure Emma doesn't have to be anywhere near you." The Snow Queen simply raised an eyebrow and laughed again before calmly walking out of the apartment. Emma slowly lowered her gun, shaking. Charming protectively placed his hands on her shoulders.
"It's alright." He assured her. "You're safe. She can't hurt you."
"No," Emma said, moving forward. "But she can hurt you." Emma went to follow the Snow Queen and hunt her down, but Snow grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
"Emma, she only can't hurt you just now because we won't let her. Her magic is powerful. Just leave her. We'll get her later. She wants inside your head. Don't give her the chance." Snow persuaded her. Emma took a deep breath, still filled with rage. She stormed upstairs to her room, needing to calm down. Snow turned to Charming.
"When we find her." She said in a dangerously quiet voice. "I get first shot."
"You'll have to beat me to it." Charming huffed. This was their chance to make at least one of the people who hurt their daughter pay, and they were not going to waste it.
