No control

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma really pushing her parents' buttons by being very defiant of their instructions and at one point nearly hitting her brother with something. Slight spoilers in this chapter from a set video leaked a couple of weeks ago. May have gone off request a little on this one. But I hope you like it!

"Get off!" Emma yelled in a panic. And again her magic got the better off her. It blasted out, causing a nearby lamppost to come down and collide with her father. Everyone gasped in surprise. Snow rushed over with Neal still in her arms to help him out. Emma was in shock. She was no longer the saviour. She was the threat. Emma turned and sprinted away. Only faintly hearing her parents cry after her that it was ok. She didn't believe them anyway. It was far from ok. She could have killed her father just there. What if she had? This had gone on too far. She had to leave before someone was killed.

Emma sprinted as fast as her legs could carry her back to the apartment. Her heart was pounding in her chest but she didn't care, she couldn't stop. Emma ran up to her room and quickly grabbed out her suitcase. She snatched some clothes from her wardrobe and just threw them in. She zipped it up and went out to the hall…and saw her mom standing with Neal at the bottom of the stairway.

"I thought you might do that." Snow sighed. "Emma, you're not leaving town."

"You can't stop me." Emma said, going down the stairs. She tried to move past her mother but Snow wouldn't let her. She gently but firmly took Emma's hand and pulled her into the living room.

"Get off!" Emma shouted, panicking again. Did her mother not understand? Emma was dangerous?

"Not until you stop and listen." Snow said calmly. "Emma, that's the third time your magic's blipped in a week. Now I know you can't always help it, and nobody's mad at you but running away won't help. I just wished you'd listen to your father and I and stopped coming with us to look for her. It just gets you stressed."

"So I'm just meant to leave you to get killed?" Emma responded, moving to the furthest corner of the room to try and keep herself away from her mom and Neal.

"Emma, you're going to get yourself hurt…"

"You mean I'm going to hurt someone else." Emma snapped. "I'm not stupid. Now please, move so I can leave and keep you all safe."

"Emma your father and I will not lose you again!" Snow told her.

"You're not listening! I'm going to kill someone!" Emma yelled. Suddenly, a lamp came up and went flying to the wall beside Snow. "See? Please, go before I hurt someone!" Next a book came flying right at them. Snow gasped and dodged out the way just in time, missing Neal by a fraction. Emma's mouth opened in horror. "Mom…I'm sorry…it was an accident." Emma said. Snow put Neal in his crib and slowly approached Emma. Emma shook her head frantically slumping down the wall. She clutched at her ears, repeating no over and over again. Snow crouched down beside her. Pulling Emma over to her.

"It's alright." Snow told Emma, holding her close. "We're going to fix this. You don't have to leave." Snow wrapped her arms protectively around Emma. She could see her daughter's world was falling apart. And she wouldn't let it happen. She would hold Emma together. She would protect Emma from herself.
