Morning sunshine
JustInDreams asked for a oneshot of Charming talking to Emma in the cell after locking her in there for being drunk.
Her head was pounding. Her mouth was dry. Everywhere ached. Emma groaned. Why did her bed feel so hard…wait, how did she even get home? She'd had some night with Red. The woman could hold her drink.
"Good morning my little ray of sunshine." Emma heard someone call. She groaned, peeking her eyes open slightly. She couldn't open them anymore, it was far too bright. Even then she now knew where she was…in the cell.
"Do you have to be so loud?" She groaned. "And why am I here?"
"Well Red called me and said you'd had a little too much to drink. By the time I got there you were up on the bar singing…well I'm not sure exactly you were a little slurred. I carried you out to the car and drove you home. When we got there we discovered you must have left your keys in the bar. It was half three in the morning. The bar was closed and so was Granny's. I thought you'd get a smaller lecture staying here than you would from your mother if you stayed at ours, as well as gaining a wonderful life lesson." He said with a smile.
"Yeah whatever." Emma grumbled, slowly sitting up. "Just let me out of here so I can go shower…"
"Not so fast." Charming told her. Emma slumped back down on the bench, sighing. Wasn't she a little old for lecture about drinking from her dad? "What have we learned from last night?"
"Not to go drinking with who would have been your godmother because she's a big tattle tale…" Emma grumbled.
"No. That's not it. Emma, if Red hadn't called me anything could have happened to you. Sweetheart when I picked you up you said 'daddy, read me a bedtime story.' It was quite something…" Emma went slightly pink. She really didn't have much control of her mouth when she was hammered. "It made me worry what else you might have said without thinking. And I thought a night in the cell might teach you a bit of a lesson." Charming got a bottle of water and put it in the cell. "So, you can stay here for another hour and have a little think about it."
"What?" Emma shouted, forgetting about her sore head. She winced. "What?" She repeated more quietly.
"You heard me." Charming said, moving back. "I'm going out on a call. I'll be back in an hour to let you out. Don't even bother. You'll just hurt your head. See you soon, princess." Charming said, walking out before Emma tried to argue. Emma's mouth fell open in surprise. Had that really just happened?
