Teenage tantrums
Mona Mari asked for a oneshot of Emma disciplining Henry.
"I wish I lived with my other mom!" Henry yelled slamming the door. Emma sighed, following him up the stairs to his room, knocking.
"Henry, let me in." She said sternly, knowing he'd have jammed a chair against the door to stop her coming in. This wasn't the first time he'd gone off in a strop for being told he had to be back for nine on a school night. It appeared the teenage mood swings had now hit Henry hard. He was quite the little grump most of the time.
"No." He responded.
"Henry, either let me in this room now or so help me you'll be grounded for a month!" Emma shouted in. She heard him get off his bed and come to the door. When she heard the chair being dragged away she came in. "What you just said, that really hurt Henry. I want you to apologise." Emma said, trying to keep herself calm. All she got in response was a shrug. "No Henry. Not this time. You are going to apologise." Emma said more forcibly.
"What's the point?" Henry grumbled. "It would be a lie. At least my other mom doesn't care when I come home."
"Henry you and I both know that's not true." Emma sighed. "Your other mom and I both agreed nine on school nights so that's total nonsense. Don't add to being rude by lying to me." Emma warned him. Henry didn't even reply to that. Emma could see there was no point in lecturing him. He just wasn't going to listen. "Tell you what Henry," Emma said, grabbing his phone. "You can have this back when you've apologised and I believe you meant it."
"What? You can't do that!" Henry protested, leaping up.
"Oh yes I can. Now calm down, think about what you said and when you're ready I'll be downstairs." Emma told him, leaving the room.
She got downstairs and slumped down on the couch. This was going to be a long decade.
