Reunited
ElizabethCullen08 asked for a oneshot of Charming's POV of the reunion with Emma in 2x01.
"So it's true." I was sure my heart stopped beating for a couple of seconds. That was her. I turned round and saw her staring at us, so many emotions on her face. My daughter's face. All I wanted to do was run to her. To pick her up and hold her tightly, never letting her go. But I couldn't do that, I would scare her off before I even got to know her. Snow clearly unfroze quicker than I did. She bridged the small gap between us slowly with me following behind her slightly, just staring at Emma. Snow then cupped Emma's face. Our baby's face. This was all so much to take in. This beautiful, amazing woman was my little girl. I felt like my heart was going to burst with love and pride. Snow then pulled her into a long awaited hug. We had waited far too long to hold our child in our arms.
"You found us." Snow said, and I could tell she was barely holding back tears just like I was. Slowly, I reached for Emma's head. Carefully holding the back of her beautiful blond curls. I came closer, joining the hug with her and Snow. We were together again, finally a family. I just let myself enjoy the moment. Slowly stroking the top of my daughter's head trying not to cry. This was my baby girl. I still couldn't quite get my head around it.
"Grandpa?" A little voice spoke. I looked down and smiled. Now that was definitely going to take some getting used to.
