Fine
JJ asked for a oneshot of Neal's first broken bone.
"Mom, I'm fine." The little boy protested. Snow scoffed, still holding out the spoonful of soup.
"I hardly think a broken wrist counts as fine Neal." She responded. Neal rolled his eyes, opening his mouth and allowing his mom to help him eat. "How is it feeling?" Snow asked when Neal had finished his soup.
"Fine." Neal sighed. "When can I take the stupid cast off again?"
"You still have at least another ten days. I did warn you about climbing trees." Snow said, giving her son a look.
"You never let me have any fun." Neal grumbled. He folded his arms across his chest as best he could with the cast in the way.
"Now that's not true and you know it. I would just rather fun didn't lead to my son having to go to hospital." Snow told him. "Your dad will be back from the chemist's soon with your medicine. No funny business today please. Take it all properly." Neal rolled his eyes moodily.
"Fi-"
"So help me Neal if you say fine one more time I'll throttle you." Snow warned. Neal just huffed, burrowing back down on his bed as Snow took the tray with the soup away. She knew Neal was just being an adventurous little boy. It wasn't his fault really. They would all just need to keep a closer eye on him…and maybe when Henry was babysitting keep all activities inside the house.
