Kidnapped
paperclip asked for a oneshot of Emma being taken in 2x22 instead of Henry.
Then suddenly it all went quiet. Charming and Snow stared at each other, grinning on the cave floor. Charming scooted over and helped his wife to her feet. They saw Henry lying not too far away, looking a little dazed. Being closer than Regina, they made it to him first, helping him to his feet just as Regina came over.
"Are you alright?" Charming asked him. He nodded, looking to Regina.
"You did it." He said proudly. "You became good and saved everyone."
"Well, I did have some help." Regina said, touching his cheek affectionately. Snow and Charming beamed proudly, their daughter had once again saved them all.
"You ok there Emma?" Charming asked, turning around to where Emma had fallen. She wasn't there. "Emma?" He said again, looking around the whole cave. By this point the others had noticed she was missing too.
"They've taken her, haven't they?" Henry asked, worried.
"Not for long." Snow snarled before they all sprinted out of the cave.
"We don't even know where they are." Regina pointed out. "We're wasting energy."
"We'll find them. Charming and I would crawl through Hell to keep her with us." Snow told her, sprinting hand in hand with Charming. Then she saw them, standing at the edge of the pier. Emma was struggling between them, hands tied behind her back. Snow's eyes widened in horror. They had opened a portal.
"Emma!" Snow screamed. She regretted it as soon as the word was out of her mouth. Greg had obviously heard her and turned his head in their direction. Seeing the group now sprinting full force towards them made him and Tamara act quickly. They leapt forward, pulling Emma into the portal. "No!" Snow yelled. She was so close. She tried to jump in after them but Charming wrapped his arms around her waist tightly keeping her in place. Still she fought against him. "Let me go!" She demanded.
"Snow she's gone." Charming said firmly. "We couldn't follow her that way." Of course Charming had wanted to dive in too, but he knew it would do no good.
"I don't know how you'll get her back. Hook took the last bean." Regina said honestly.
"That I did lass." Came a calm, slightly regret filled English voice. Charming let go of his wife to swing for the pirate. He was partially to blame for Emma being taken. "Steady there mate!" Hook said, dodging Charming's punch. He pulled the bean out of his pocket. "I haven't used it."
"Good." Charming growled, snatching it off him. "Because we're using it to go after Emma."
"Emma's been taken?" A voice came from behind the group.
"Grandpa." Henry said, going over to Rumple and Belle. "She was taken by Greg and Tamara. Please, you have to go with them!" Rumple looked very reluctant.
"Henry, I'm not so sure. I don't work well in a team." He answered the boy. He hated the way it made his face crumple.
"Please," Henry pleaded. "I just lost my dad. I can't lose a mom too. You've got strong magic. You can help us." When Rumple looked at Henry, he couldn't help but see Bae. And how could he deny that face.
"Alright." He sighed. "I shall assist. But Belle, you are to stay here…"
"What?!" Belle said, outraged. "No, I can't let you all go off and risk your lives while I sit here doing nothing-"
"You won't be doing nothing." Rumple cut in. "We know the town is weak just now. We can't leave it defenceless with some dwarves, an old lady and a loose werewolf to look after it. Storybrooke needs you Belle." Rumple told her. Belle didn't want to leave him, but she could see he was leaving her no choice. She quickly pulled him in for a passionate kiss.
"Remember that." She said softly as she pulled away. "That's what you're coming back for."
"Of course." He whispered back, heading for the dock where Hook had got the Jolly Roger ready to sail.
"…Belle's not the only one staying behind." Regina said, readying herself for a fight. "You are too, Henry."
"WHAT?" Henry yelled. "No! She's my mom! I can't just leave her!"
"You're not just leaving her, Henry. We will bring her home. But she wouldn't want us to risk your life. Your mom's right." Snow said, agreeing with Regina. "Besides, think about what your grandpa said. Storybrooke is weak just now. We don't know all the villains that are here yet. You have more knowledge of everyone in the Enchanted Forest as well as other realms than anyone I know. Belle could use your assistance in keeping this town safe for our return." Snow suggested. They could all see Henry's bottom lip quivering. He was trying to be brave but he just wanted to cry. What if none of them came back and he was left with no family? Charming bent down so he and his grandson were eye level.
"It's going to be ok." He assured him. "We're going to bring your mom back. You know that, we always find each other." Henry nodded, sniffing.
"I know." He said quietly. Charming ruffled his hair and Snow kissed his cheek by way of goodbye before heading to the ship to allow Regina to say her own goodbye.
"If anyone has hurt her." Snow said seriously. "We show no mercy."
"Agreed." Charming said simply. They were going to find their daughter, and nobody would stand in their way.
