AnimeAddict1059 asked for a oneshot of a more detailed version of the scene in 2x06 when Snow tells Emma off for telling Mulan to cut down the beanstalk.
"You told her to cut it down?" Snow panted after taking Emma away from the others.
"I couldn't-"
"We go back together, that is the only way!" Snow told her off, slightly annoyed with Emma for not thinking how she would feel if separated from her again. "Do you understand?"
"I wasn't going to risk you being killed by Cora." Emma defended herself. Snow took Emma even further away to give them complete privacy. Emma was surprised by how strong she was.
"Listen to me, Emma." Snow said firmly. "I know our relationship is complicated- but I am still your mother. And I am stronger than you give me credit for. I'm not Mary Margaret any more, I'm Snow White, and I'm a fighter." Snow gave a small smirk. "You had to get your stubbornness from somewhere." The point is, don't ever put my needs above yours. This relationship works the other way around. I keep you safe. No ifs, buts or maybes. Emma…when I saw Mulan go to hack down the beanstalk…I've never been so worried. Please, don't ever do that to me again." Emma looked down, unsure what to say. But Snow made her look up. "Now do you understand?" Emma didn't speak, but simply wrapped her arms around her mother. "Good." Snow said softly, patting her back and understanding the silent yes.
