Out of control

requestfan asked for a oneshot from the 4x07 promo. A few people lately have requested something and then re-requested after the next lot of oneshots. Don't worry folks- normally I do have them all noted it just takes a while to get through requests! If it's been a few weeks and I haven't done it then yes it's probably a good idea to remind me in case it's slipped through the net. Just don't you all thinking I'm ignoring you!

"You've grown so much-"

"Don't." Emma cut her off. The Snow Queen stopped, raising her still cuffed hands in a show of defence.

"Alright dear. You're the sheriff."

"Don't patronise me, Dairy Queen. Let's make one thing clear before we begin: our past has nothing to do with this interview. This is about your connection with Elsa. What you know about the disappearance of her sister Anna and why you're terrorising this town." Emma said sternly. She wanted desperately to know all the memories the Snow Queen had taken from her, but she also know if she asked the Snow Queen could use them to her advantage and Emma had a job to do.

"Alright, Sheriff. I'll make things easy for you then. Elsa and Anna are my nieces. I do not know where Anna is. I wish her found as much as you all do. She is family after all."

"We already know you have a funny way of treating family. We've seen what you done to Elsa."

"I love my family, Emma. You should know that. You were part of my family once-"

"I said our connection is irrelevant here." Emma warned her. The Snow Queen seemed to ignore her.

"You could be part of my family again, Emma. Anna's gone and I don't think she's coming back. Elsa could use a sister. There's a space in the family and I think you could fill it…"

"We will find Anna, and I have my own family." Emma snarled. This woman was tricky, she was already getting under Emma's skin. The Snow Queen raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. But for how long?" Emma curled her hands into fists on the desk, she could feel her anger beginning to boil over.

"Are you threatening my family?"

"Oh no dear. Not at all. But how long will they be your family. I've seen them with the baby. They can raise him, train him into the proper little royal. Control his magic like a dog in a cage, but they couldn't trap you like that. They don't understand. Your family, they're afraid of you…"

"Shut up!" Emma bellowed. She felt a blast come out of her. A massive hole shattered through the wall. Emma looked at her hands, horrified. How could she even do that? By the time she looked up the Snow Queen had vanished. "Dammit!" Emma shouted, furious with herself. She ran out of the hole she'd created and surveyed the damage. She ran a hand through her hair, this was going to take a while to clean up.

"Emma!" She heard a voice call. She turned to see her parents and Hook running towards her.

"Stay back!" She warned, raising her hands. "I don't know if I can control it."

"Control what?" Her dad asked.

"My magic." Emma told them. She looked sadly at the hole and then them. "I did this…I was interviewing the Snow Queen and I let her get to me. She got me mad and my magic took over…I didn't mean to!" Emma said, beginning to panic. Maybe the Snow Queen was right. Maybe they were frightened. Hook stepped forward first, foolishly ignoring her. Her parents' had hung back sensing her panic.

"Emma it's alright. It's not your fault-"

"Stay back!" Emma tried to warn him again, but still he advanced taking her arm.

"Let me go!" She yelled, alarmed. Another burst of magic shot through her. Emma didn't know what happened. The next thing she saw her dad was on the ground with a lamp post covering him.

"David!" She heard her mother yell, horrified. Emma looked at her hands again. The Snow Queen was right, she was a monster, and it was only a matter of time before she killed someone. She had to leave now, before it happened to someone she loved. Emma turned on her heels, and fled.
