Getting Spicy with the Spiders

The scene shows of a lone young man with a red afro walking down the street with the sun setting and the sky all crimson, the young man is eating a bag of spicy potato chips that seems a little extra spicy for anyone to handle except for those who love spicy food.

"Wow, this new spicy chip bag is incredible that there's fire dancing in my mouth!' The red afro guy smiled.

"Good thing I got one of the last ones, let see if anyone can snatch these babies from me!" The red afro guy smirked, believing he can kick some ass like the kung fu guys in on the TV.

The red afro guy just continues walking through the streets making his way back home to enjoy the night that is coming soon.

Unknown to him, there is something looking down at him from above and lurking within the shadows as it follows the red afro man.

The red afro man arrives at his home where it's a three story apartment building and he is living on the first floor because he wanted it that way, better to get out of the building faster and for fire safety reasons in case a fire broke out.

"Today was a fine day for me, the beat at the music club was awesome! Especially with that DJ girl from Canterlot High." The red afro guy smiled.

He picked up the remote to turn on the TV, but then he heard something.

"Huh?" He wondered but heard nothing.

The red afro guy just shrugs and turns on the TV and jumps onto his couch to enjoy the last few spicy chips.

But then he definitely heard something like there are lots of tapping noises.

"Is the upstairs neighbor doing some dancing up there?" The red afro guy wondered.

"No wait, those guys don't do any dancing." The red afro guy realized and heard the tapping noise again.

"Okay, now I'm starting to feel freaky here." The red afro guy felt scared holding his chip bag with only two spicy chips left.

The red afro guy heard the tapping noise again and it's getting louder and louder making the guy sweats of this sudden fear growing bigger by the second.

"It feels like someone…" The red afro guy narrowed his eyes to the right.

"Wants to sell me something!" The red afro guy pointed at his open window.

But there was nobody at the open outside as he looks out to make extra sure then let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh man, glad it was just my imagination." The red afro guy chuckled as he closes the window.

The red afro guy sat back down on his couch to enjoy his favorite cartoon show, but then he felt something odd on his bag.

"What the…?" The red afro guy confused as he looks down seeing there is a big spiderweb on the bag.

The red afro guy looks up seeing where the web was coming from ceiling and his eyes widen of pure shock of what he is seeing right now.

"Holy…" The red afro guy was about to gasp.

But the red afro guy screams from the outside of his apartment for a few seconds until the sound has completely died down.

(The Next Day)

Flash is hanging out with his band during lunchtime as they are trying to come up with a new song though the leader of the band has been having trouble with coming up with on.

"Sorry guys, can't seem to come up with a song." Flash apologized to his bandmates.

"It's okay, dude. Lots of great bands have trouble writing their own songs from time to time." Sandalwood assured.

"Yeah, we're in no hurry." One bandmate nodded.

"Except for that one show we're gonna be playing at the gym in about five days from now." The second bandmate mentioned.

"I know, I know, I just hope I'll be able to come up with one today." Flash worried a little.

"If anybody is able to write a song within that less of a time, is you." Sunset believed walking up to him from behind with Pinkie.

"Hey girls, enjoying your lunch?" Flash asked.

"We are now that we're with you!" Pinkie jumped up and down right onto his lap.

"You sure it's okay to eat with us when you have the other Rainbooms?" Flash asked.

"Don't worry, we're okay!" Applejack assured from the other table across from the Flash Drive.

"Yeah, not like we're going to be separated from each other or anything. Not when we're still connected through the power of our magic!" Rainbow Dash dragged.

"So, anything interesting happened with your police intern job?" Sandalwood asked.

"Just a few cases we've been hitting and Fluttershy was a big help with one of them about pet birds and hamsters going missing from time to time." Flash mentioned.

"That mean man was trying to use the old peter piper trick to make those birds and hamsters do bad things for him. It's unforgivable." Fluttershy said being cute mad.

"Man, you're always so cute when you're mad." Sandalwood complimented making Fluttershy blush.

"Oh, thank you." Fluttershy smiled.

"You know, I wouldn't be surprise if you guys ended up being part of a secret police force that deals with magic and stuff." Sandalwood commented.

Flash and the Rainbooms look at each other for a moment letting out some nervous chuckles of knowing how right their hippy friend is, but they still have to keep that part a secret from the outside world because it's part of their job and all.

"Sorry dude, but you wouldn't be able to know if there was a magic problem because we would be able to finish them before you would even notice." Rainbow Dash smirked.

"Best to take her word for it, darling." Rarity advised.

"Okay then." Sandalwood shrugged.

"In any case, we'll be sure to cheer you all on of keeping our city safe and awesome for friendship!" One bandmate raised a fist in the air.

"Yeah, you do that." Sunset nodded.

"Cheer you on?" Flash repeated those words, feeling like they could mean something.

"Getting an idea for the song?" Pinkie asked.

"I'm not sure, but it's definitely an idea." Flash said.

"Then let's hope it does turn out to be a new song because I know it's going to leave us all in a Flash." Sunset punned with a wink causing Flash and Pinkie to laugh.

"Hey, that was a good one." Pinkie complimented.

"Thanks, it's been in my head for a while and I've been waiting for the right moment to use it." Sunset explained.

(After School, Hopping Scarlet)

Jessica is seen waiting in her office and the portal of a Crimson Gate opened up where Flash and the Rainboom's came through piling onto each other again.

"Goodness, we really need to work on our landing." Fluttershy pointed out.

"I know, it's very unladylike for me to keep having to fall onto the floor that almost ruined my hair." Rarity agreed.

"Look on the bright side, at least we came through one of mirrors in the dressing room in the Carousel Boutique." Applejack stated to calm her down.

"True, at least we… somewhat exit in style." Rarity smiled.

"Hey, you guys are here!" Rigby greeted the group.

"What's that you got there, Rigby?" Spike asked as he jumps out of Twilight's backpack.

"Only the newest and spiciest chips that has eve come to this town! Tartarus Soul!" Rigby showed the spicy chip bag to the dog.

"Are they that new?" Spike asked again.

"Yeah man, the stores just started selling these bad boys for two days now." Rigby answered.

"Here, try one. They say these chips are so hot, they'll make you wish you were dead." Rigby pulled out one chip to the Spike.

"Now I'm curious as a cat, and that's saying something." Spike interested in trying this chip out.

"Give me one too, Rigby. I tried one of my cousin's spicy chili and managed to last over three damn minutes without feeling the heat." Applejack dragged.

"Okay then, let see how tough you really are." Rigby gave one chip to Applejack and the other to Spike.

"Applejack, are you sure that's a good idea? I'm getting a bad feeling about those chips." Rarity worried for her cowgirl girlfriend.

"Don't you worry, Rarity. I'm the toughest girl you know." Applejack winked and threw the spicy chip in her mouth.

Spike took the chip in his mouth too

The taste of the chips in each mouth is really great feeling the tingling feeling with the flavor being something else than any normal chips, but that was only for ONE second.

Applejack and Spike started screaming in pain of the extreme burning sensation in their mouths almost like they are breathing fire like dragons, they started running around in the office then came into the bar section to get the cold water.

Applejack grab the hose of the sink blasting the cold water in her mouth then into Spike's.

"Hey, be careful! The sink isn't cheap." Rigby mentioned, but got push down when they came back into the office.

"I can't take it! I can't take this fucking pain!" Applejack screamed.

"Someone just kill us PLEASE?!" Spike begged.

Soon, they both fell on the someone seemingly unconscious which worry Rarity and Twilight.

"Are you two okay?" Twilight asked.

"Whoa!" Applejack and Spike shot themselves back up.

"Oh man, that was the most hottest thing I have ever tasted." Applejack panted.

"Yeah… Give me another!" Spike smiled at Rigby.

"Huh, I think it's best for you to lay off the spicy food for now." Twilight picked up Spike to keep him away from those chips.

"That goes for you too, I don't want you screaming for death." Rarity said with a scolding look.

Then the phone started ringing.

"I got it!" Rainbow Dash blitzed to the phone grabbing it before anyone else could react.

"No, I got it!" Pinkie dropped right from above and crashed on top of Rainbow Dash causing the phone receiver to slip out of her hand and fly off.

The phone bumped onto Fluttershy's head making her dizzy but caught the phone in her hand.

Fluttershy off the dizzy and decided to answer the call herself.

"Huh, hello? Oh, Mister Magic-Police Commissioner! How has your day been?" Fluttershy asked.

"Sounds wonderful, hope you have a great day." Fluttershy smiled before handing the receiver to Jessica.

"Yes, Magic-Police Commissioner?" Jessica asked, she listen in of what her boss is telling her.

"Really? That's sounds a bit usual." Jessica commented, rubbing her chin a little.

"Alright, we'll get right on it, sir." Jessica nodded before hanging up the call.

"What did the boss want?" Flash asked.

"It looks like we'll be looking into a spicy case that could burn us if we're not careful." Jessica answered.

"Spicy? You mean like my chip?" Rigby asked pointing at his bag.

"More than that, Rigby. There has been a strange rising of spicy products being taken off the shelves more than they should, chili peppers being gone within minutes, spicy powders and sauces have been cleared out, even order meals from restaurants that include spicy ingredients." Jessica explained of what the commissioner told her.

"All the spicy products being brought, but why?" Twilight wondered.

"I don't know, but it's probably not a good thing either." Jessica feared something bad could happen.

"Is it done by a lot of people or maybe one person?" Rarity asked.

"That I'm uncertain, we need to check the stores where they sell the spicy products to check them for ourselves." Jessica stated as she looks out the window.

"Let's start with the nearest place that have spicy stuff." Sunset suggested.

"I hope they don't try making my spicy chips, I brought them fair and square!" Rigby angered and ate a few chips, only to suddenly scream in extreme pain.

The detective group got in Jessica's car driving off to the nearest place where there are spicy stuffs which a burger restaurant knowing they sell some of their burgers with hot sauce and other spicy food.

"Hello burger employee." Pinkie greeted friendly.

"Hey Pinkie, are you here to order?" The burger employee asked.

"You could say we're in the mood for something… spicy!" Pinkie grinned.

"Sunset is trying to see if she can be tough to withstand the heat in her mouth." Applejack explained with a false story.

"And Applejack is trying to break her own record." Sunset added.

"Sorry girls, and dude, but I'm afraid you're gonna have to settle with normal orders since we ran out of the spicy items of our menu." The burger employee informed.

"Really? Didn't think you guys would stop selling those so soon." Flash raised an eyebrow.

"We didn't, someone came up to the front and ordered all of our spicy items and even took all of the hot sauce. It was weird, you don't see a lot of people eating that much hot sauce." The burger employee explained.

"Yeah, that kind of thing happens if you were born with that kind of trait or eating spicy food right with enough time to build up endurance to handle spicy food." Fluttershy stated.

"Cool, that's what my grandmom said when I called her." The burger employee surprised.

"Is there anything else you can tell us, was this customer out of the ordinary?" Jessica asked.

"He seemed kind of normal though he did look like he was twitching a bit." The burger employee said, not sure if there was something out of the ordinary until he remembers something.

"Oh yeah, when the guy gave me his credit card to pay for the orders, his hand had some spiderwebs on like he just took down a spiderweb." The burger employee mentioned.

"HE MUST PAY?!" Fluttershy shouted in rage.

"There, there, I'm sure the spider was long gone before the spiderweb was taken down." Pinkie comforted the shy-angry girl.

"I think this guy must have a thing for webs if he wasn't bother by it." Flash guessed.

"That's what he said too when I asked him." The burger employee said.

"Did he say where he was going next?" Flash asked as well.

"Not really, all he said was that life is always going to be hot and you have to be hot to survive which sounded weird." The burger employee answered.

"Thank you for answering, hope you can get through the day without the spicy items." Jessica nodded before walking away.

"Can I get two order of your Tibetan sandwich with extra mayo?" Pinkie placed her order.

"Pinkie?" The group yelled at her a bit.

"What? We should at least get ourselves something to eat for the investigation." Pinkie stated.

The next place the Equestrian Detectives went is a taco restaurant named Taco Horse Bell where it's the most famous place where they sell tacos with some real Mexican meat, but then they meet up with a little familiar face who just came out of the store.

"Pipsqueak! Hey there, little man!" Flash greeted getting the boy's attention.

"Flash! Wow, didn't think I end up seeing you again." Pipsqueak smiled upon seeing one of his favorite older friends.

"Hey now, you're making it sound like we haven't seen each other in years." Flash chuckled roughing up his hair a little.

"Considered it was only two weeks ago that his parents asked you to babysit him." Sunset mentioned.

"You guys going in there for some tacos too? I just got out." Pipsqueak showed his bags.

"That looks like you ordered a lot. Are you sure you can eat them all?" Fluttershy asked concern.

"Oh, huh, yeah, I'm totally going to eat them all. Why else would I buy so many tacos just for myself." Pipsqueak chuckled nervously. This raises a little suspicious on the kid, but they'll worry about that later.

"Quick question, little darling. Has Taco Horse Bell fell short on hot sauces and such?" Rarity asked.

"Yes, there was this guy who came in before me and I was one more person behind him. He literally ordered all the items that included hot sauces and took them all." Pipsqueak explained.

"Looks like this place was struck again." Rainbow Dash crossed her arms.

"Was there anything else about the guy?" Flash asked.

"Now that you ask, I do remember the guy having some spiderwebs on his hands and a little more of his clothes." Pipsqueak mentioned.

The Equestrian Detectives have found another info about a buyer with spiderwebs on his hands wondering if this is the same guy or could be someone else.
