Bad reflection
Another Guest asked for a oneshot of Charming facing the mirror.
"Well well well, look who decided to venture out without someone to hold his hand." Charming jumped back from the mirror. Whilst looking for Emma, Charming had stumbled across Snow Queen's cave. What he thought was his reflection was now grinning menacingly at him. He was immediately reminded of when he had fought his fear the previous year.
"No. No I bet you." Charming said, horrified. The reflection just laughed.
"You can never beat me. I'll always be part of you. When you look in either of your children's eyes. You're not cut out to be a father. You gave Emma up as soon as she was born and if you had the chance to go back you'd do the same thing again…"
"No!" Charming protested. "No I wouldn't! If I could have I would have kept her. I would have, of course I would have." The reflection just scoffed.
"Please, such lies. You are no father to Emma or Neal. You can't protect them. How many times has Emma been hurt and you didn't protect her. At least Snow went to the Enchanted Forest with her. You couldn't even do that. Even Neal was taken when he was seconds old. You didn't save him- Emma did. What kind of father lets their daughter court a villainous pirate? You've seen the book. You know his past. You know what happened with him and Emma on the Jolly Roger…"
"He has changed! He would never hurt her! If he did I'd-"
"You'd what? Stand by and let her get hurt like you've always done? Face it, you've failed Snow as a husband, failed Emma as a father and it won't be long before you completely fail Neal too…"
"No!" Charming bellowed. Then he realised what was happening. The Snow Queen had wanted him to find her cave. She was stalling him from finding Emma. From getting his chance to save her. "You won't win." He told the mirror, hoping the Snow Queen could hear him. "I will find her, I will always find her." With that, Charming fled from the cave to save his daughter.
