What had she done? As soon as she saw Emma's face she regretted it. She had already hurt Emma earlier with the incident with Neal, now she'd really blown it. Emma had needed her, and she'd let her down. Yes, Snow was shocked. Yes, she wanted Emma to calm down. But she never wanted her to think she was frightened of her. Snow really wasn't frightened- she just wasn't expecting it. Someone could throw any insult they wanted at Snow. Heck, someone could fling a chair at her, and it wouldn't hurt as much as knowing she'd caused her daughter's pain. Now she was out there all alone. She had failed to protect her today and she was still failing now. What if someone found Emma and wanted to hurt her? The Snow Queen wasn't their only threat, and Emma was now at risk to them all whilst she was already vulnerable. The pain of it all was almost too much for Snow to handle. Especially since it was her fault. But Snow would stay strong, because sooner or later they'd either find Emma or she'd come home. Then Snow would not fail her again. She would hold her daughter tight and let Emma know how loved she truly was.
