Snow and Charming knew she cried herself to sleep at night. Knew that she panicked at the slightest sign of her magic. Knew that she was struggling being around Neal. She made excuses as to why she couldn't hold him, but the truth was it hurt too much. Emma refused to talk to them about anything. It was so infuriating. They wanted to help her, but she wasn't letting them. Every time the subject of her feelings came up she quickly started talking about something else. All they wanted to do was make their daughter feel secure. But she wouldn't let them in to help. Snow knew she had blown it at the police station. Their relationship had taken a massive hit. Slowly they would rebuild it. And slowly Emma would allow her father back in as well. It would just take time. They couldn't force her to talk. That would only make things worse. As much as it hurt they had to leave her to do things in her own time. Even though they knew she was in pain. It was one of the hardest things they had to do as parents- see her in so much pain and know there was nothing they could do.
