The good and the heart wrenching
Dgi asked for a oneshot of the first time Emma called Snow mom.
It was such a bitter sweet moment in Snow's life. They were going to die. There was no escaping that. She couldn't save herself, her husband or her daughter. Only her grandson would survive this, but he would be all alone. And yet Snow couldn't help her stomach flip when she heard it. The first time Emma had called her mom. She knew she was going to die, and she was scared. She reached out to her and Charming for comfort. Emma shakily walked forward and she and Charming pulled her tightly into the family embrace. They were aware of Henry slipping out. Clearly wanting to say goodbye to his other mom. Charming and Snow clung onto Emma tightly. It was cruel how little time they had with their only child before they were about to be torn apart again. So they would savour the little time they had. They would be her parents and give her what little comfort they could. They may not be able to shield her from the diamond's effects, but they could try and shield her from the pain beforehand.
