More like sisters

Lou asked for a oneshot of a continuation to 225 where Red has to do a double take after Emma lets her hair go natural.

Before we begin to the guest who said she hated when people said Charming would be below Emma in royal rankings… (Most of you may want to skip to the story just FYI this could get pretty boring lol) No, Charming wouldn't be King. He was coming to Snow's kingdom to rule so as Snow was their royal heir she would be Queen. Charming couldn't be King as that would making him a higher rank than the actual ruler so he'd be a Prince Consort. (Like Prince Philip is a royal in his own rights but can't be King as then he'd be above Queen Elizabeth II) He isn't actually a Prince anyway, he was posing as James. I'm British, I know my royals! ;)

"Oh, hey Snow." Red said, barely looking up from the counter. She was glad her friend had decided to grow her hair out again, it suited her.

"Not Snow." Emma grumbled. Red whipped around and examined Emma. Sure enough on closer inspection she could see the different eyes…but that was about it.

"Woh." Red gasped, unable to say anything else. "I could have sworn you were your mother. Your hair! It's just like hers! Why did you dye it?"

"This is the natural hair." Emma explained. "The blond was the dye. I forgot I hadn't told mom and dad that and they walked in on me dying it. Mom guilt tripped me into letting it go black again whilst she let hers grow. That's why I've been wearing a hat or had my hood up all the time." Now Red understood why Emma always had something on her head. It was winter, so she got away with it going unnoticed. But the change in hair wouldn't be so easy to hide. Just then, the bell chimed signalling that someone else had came into the diner. Charming and Snow strolled quite happily inside with baby Neal in his pram. They spied Emma up at the counter and came over to join her.

"Hey Red." Snow greeted her friend warmly before squeezing her daughter's shoulder affectionately.

"Hi." Red returned the greeting, looking between the mother and daughter. She shook her head. "This is far too creepy."

"What is?" Snow asked, trying to act nonchalantly. Charming rolled his eyes, Snow knew fine well what Red was referring too, but she loved having people point it out.

"You and Emma, you look like twins! It's-it's uncanny!" Emma went slightly pink at the remarks whilst Snow's grin broadened.

"Yeah. So we've been told. She's got a lot more than my chin, huh?"

"Boy I'll say!"

"Oh would you look at the time, my lunch break's over. I'd best be heading back to the station. I'll see you all later." Charming suddenly announced. He quickly kissed both Snow and Neal on the cheek, squeezed Emma's shoulder then made a quick exit. Red gave her friend a questioning look. Snow just laughed.

"He's still in a bit of a huff over it. All this time he thought Emma had his hair and turns out she has mine. I think he thought it would help her be more of a daddy's girl if she looked more like him-"

"Mom!" Emma called out, mortified. "I'm a grown woman! I'm nobody's girl." She huffed. Red bit her lip to hold back her laughter.

"Yes, sorry Emma." Snow said half-heartedly. But when Emma wasn't looking, Snow turned to Red with a triumphant grin. "Total mama's girl."
