Under the influence

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snow and Charming taking care of a drunk Emma. Also, Melissa asked for a drunken Emma sitting on Snow's lap saying she's her baby too so it made sense to combine the two.

Guest: Check out "My baby's baby" parts 1 and 2 for Emma telling her parents she's pregnant.

Sofi/IShipCaptainSwan: Need a bit of clarification. Emma was a baby in the first curse, do you mean the one Peter Pan caused?

General note: Please, if you're going to ask for Emma and the Snow Queen could you link it in with another Charming family member? I don't like having Ingrid as Emma's main paternal figure, sort of takes it away from the Charming family. Thanks guys :)

Snow and Charming heard loud giggling coming from the front door. Frowning, Charming checked his watch.

"It's only quarter to twelve. Isn't it a little early for her to be coming home like that?"

"Do remember it's been a while since she's drank." Snow pointed out. For the moment the town was peaceful. People were beginning to relax again. Red took the opportunity to organise a girls night out. Snow politely declined, still uncomfortable with leaving Neal for extended periods when unnecessary. But since Henry was staying at Regina's and Emma could stumble back to her parents' house, she accepted.

Snow and Charming heard her grumble as she tried to get her key in the door.

"Maybe I should give her a hand." Charming decided, thinking she wasn't going to get the key in any time soon. Snow nodded in agreement, gently rocking Neal back to sleep (he'd just finished a feeding). Charming grabbed his keys and opened the door for Emma. She stared in shock for a moment at the open door. Then she looked up and saw her dad.

"Hey dad!" She said merrily. Charming couldn't help but smile.

"Hey Em. Why don't you come in and sit down. Try and keep it down, your mom's trying to get Neal to sleep.

"Oh." Emma said in a stage whisper, putting her finger to her lips to signal she had understood. "Ok." Emma took a few swaggering steps by herself before Charming gently guided her over to the couch and down beside Snow.

"Hey Emma." Snow said quietly, carefully putting Neal in his Moses basket. "You're home earlier than we thought?" Emma nodded, trying to stifle more giggles behind her hand. Snow and Charming were very bemused. Emma wasn't normally quite so bubbly.

"Red gave me a loooooooot of shots." Emma told them. Snow rolled her eyes.

"I thought as your godmother she would be trying to help you avoid getting into this state, not be the one getting you into it." Snow complained. Emma's face screwed up in confusion.

"Red's my godmom?" She slurred. Charming and Snow looked at each other. Of course. They'd never told Emma.

"Um yeah, we picked her and Grumpy before the curse hit…I guess we never actually mentioned it." Charming told her. Emma nodded.

"That's right…because you're my parents." Charming and Snow nodded slowly.

"That's right honey." Emma then pointed to Neal.

"And he's not your only baby." Emma said. Suddenly, she clambered onto Snow's lap. "I was the first one!" Charming nearly fell onto the floor laughing. Snow was more than a little shocked.

"Er that's right honey." Snow said, patting Emma's shoulder. "You're my baby too." Emma again fell into a fit of giggles. Snow and Charming shared amused looks. This was quite a different side of Emma. Snow and Charming had one of their silent conversations, deciding it was time to get Emma to bed.

"Ok then baby number one." Charming said, bending down and picking Emma up bridal style. "Let's get you upstairs. Your mom can put Neal to bed and then come and help you out."

"Weeeee! I'm flying! Hey dad, look, how am I doing this?" Emma asked, astonished. Charming chuckled lightly.

"Yeah, pretty awesome kiddo. Come on." Charming carefully carried her up the stairs and into her room as Snow put Neal to bed and grabbed her a glass of water and some aspirin for the morning. Charming gently set Emma down on the bed. "There we are." He said. "Boy are you going to have a sore head in the morning…"

"That's what there are for." Snow said, coming in and setting the glass and tablets down on Emma's bedside table. She had also brought a bucket, just to be safe. She then went over to Emma's wardrobe and pulled out a pair of pyjamas. Charming kissed Emma's forehead.

"Night angel… Hope you don't need the bucket." Charming said, grimacing. Emma was in much too merry a state to care. He smiled gently at Snow before going down to their room.

"Ok Emma." Snow said, helping her to her feet. Snow was having to take an awful lot of her weight, Emma was very unsteady. "Let's get you changed and into bed."

After about five minutes, Snow had successfully helped Emma into her pyjamas and got her under the covers. "Night Em." Snow whispered, stroking her cheek. Emma held onto Snow's wrist, the emotional side of her coming out.

"I do love you both, Neal too." Emma slurred. "You're my mama. Daddy's…well, my daddy." Snow smiled at terms of endearment.

"We know angel. We love you too." Snow told her. "Not get some sleep. I think you're going to need it."

Emma awoke the next morning with a groan. She sat up slowly, squinting at the light. Out of the corner of her eye she caught the glass and the pills. She saw there was a piece of paper with something written on it beside the glass. Morning baby! Emma read over the words wondering what on Earth they meant…then she started remembering. Emma slumped back against her pillow. She had been a bit of a mess.

After half an hour Emma decided it was pointless putting it off anymore. She slowly trudged down the stairs and made her way into the kitchen.

"Morning." She mumbled. Both parents turned and smiled.

"Morning Em. How you feeling?" Her dad asked her.

"Uh fine…sorry about last night. My mouth tends to run away with me when I'm a little under the influence…in fact, my whole mind seems to run away if I'm remembering things correctly." Emma cringed, had she climbed onto her mother's lap? And said something to her dad about her flying?

"Don't be. You didn't do anything that bad. You were kind of adorable actually." Charming said with a smile. Snow had told him about the mama and daddy. Emma rolled her eyes. She had a feeling that she wasn't going to be allowed to forget this anytime soon.
