Bad habits
A guest asked for a oneshot of Snow noticing Neal is picking up some bad habits from Grumpy and tries to nip them in the bud.
Snow stared horrified at her son. But it was too late to stop it. Neal had gathered up the saliva in his mouth and spat as far as he could. When he finished he looked incredibly proud of himself. Snow was far from proud.
"Neal Nolan!" Emma bellowed out from the kitchen window to where he was standing in the garden. "What on Earth do you think you are doing?!" Neal jumped, spinning round to face his mother.
"Uncle Grumpy taught me, I was just practicing." He defended himself. Snow sighed, rubbing her temple.
"Well stop it. It's disgusting."
"But Uncle Grumpy-"
"I don't care what Uncle Grumpy told you Neal. I'm your mother and you are not to spit. Is that clear?" Snow fixed her son with her sternest look. Neal sighed, folding his arms across his chest and nodding.
"Got it." He grumbled.
"Good." Snow said dangerously, pulling her head in from the window. This had been the third incident like this in a month. First it had been belching loudly with no excuse me, then picking things out of his teeth and now this. It had to stop. Snow had gone back to work in the school, which meant she had to stay an hour or two after the school day to make sure she was ready for the next day. Charming and Emma were at the station so someone had to be there to pick up Neal. Grumpy volunteered as his godfather but it appeared he'd been teaching her son filthy habits. She didn't want to stop Grumpy watching him- Neal loved it. But Snow didn't want her son acting so rudely. Maybe it might be best to write up some behaviour rules for the pair. And they'd be remarkably similar to the rules Snow had drawn up when she stayed in the cottage with the dwarves…
