CHAPTER TWO: LORN

"I'm not broken, I'm ruined. Do you understand the difference? With broken maybe you can fix things. Ruined? All you can do is wait to bury me."

[Day 1︳Oct.16︳X784]

MOKA'S EMERALD ORBS anxiously focused on the pair that stood before her in the quiet room. Moka didn't know what to make of these people who informed her of where she was. They seemed kind and compassionate, but she was smart enough to realize that "trust" plays a considerable role when strangers approach her.

"So, Mister Makarov-" Moka started.

"You can either call me Makarov or Master. Besides, the mister part makes me sound old." the old man chuckled.

Moka could only sweat-drop, along with the woman. 'That's because you are old.'

She shook the thought out of her head before speaking up. "Master Makarov, if you don't mind, I'd like to know the name of the person who brought me here," she explained, slightly moving out of the woman's arms.

"Very well, then. You were found by one of our guild members, Natsu." the old man answered.

"Natsu?" she repeated, wondering if that was the name of her savior. "Is he- or she the one who brought me here?"

"Yes. And just in case you are wondering, he's a boy. Well, a reckless boy for that matter." the master chuckled before looking at her, his expression turning serious. "But enough about all of that for now. May I ask what your name is, young lady? I suppose that I can't call you anything else if I do not know of it."

Moka's eyes roamed themselves down to her hands in thought. She didn't know what to call herself, now that she was supposedly "dead" and the inner side of her is alive with the same name as hers. "M-My name is Moka..."

"Moka...' the woman that was holding her repeated with fascination and admiration. "That's a really pretty name, you have. My name is Mirajane." the woman named Mirajane smiled. "But you can just call me Mira."

"Mirajane..." Moka repeated, loving the sound of her name. "Yours sounds pretty too...I guess."

Mirajane only giggled. "Why, thank you."

"I know exactly where I came from..." Moka answered, twirling around with her thumbs. "But I don't know how I exactly got here."

"You don't know how you got here?" Mira inquired, looking at the girl in her arms, confused.

Moka shook her head. "No, I don't. Before they killed me, all I remembered was losing consciousness and waking up in this world you call Earthland," she explained. "It's kind of complicated to explain, but that's all I can remember."

The master closed his eyes. "I see." There was a long silence before he gave her a big smile. "Then, how would you like to become a new member of Fairy Tail?" Makarov suggested.

"Me? Become a member here?" Moka inquired, becoming very confused.

"Why, of course. You seem like a nice young lady who needs somewhere to stay." the old man praised. "I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing another lovely face around here." he chuckled.

Moka shook her head with a sad smile. "I'd be honored to, Master, but...I'm afraid I can't do that. I have to find my way back home. My friends are probably still waiting for me back in the other world."

The master's grin slowly disappeared. "I see, then." he sighed with disappointment. "I respect your decision."

Moka gave a nod. "I'm sorry." she apologized. "If you don't mind, Master, I'd like to pay my respects to this Natsu person who saved me."

"Of course."

❥๑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━๑❥

A few minutes later, Moka got dressed in the clothes they had given to her. She stared at herself in the mirror, observing every inch of her body. She carefully touched her bare neck. The choker, along with the broken seal, was no longer there. 'The seal. It's gone.' she thought to herself, rubbing her neck.. 'Does this mean...that the inner side of me is no longer with me? Am I useless now?' She didn't know what to think of herself, now that the rosary was good as dead and gone. She was just an empty shell, or...just her.

~The Guild~

The master led her out of the infirmary along with Mirajane. He gestured for her to follow him to find her savior. Everything around her seemed quiet and rowdy at the same time. Half of the people in the building were quiet or having a conversation with others, while the other side was noisy and disorderly. She didn't seem to want to pay attention to anything that was going on around her. Until the color of pink spiky locks caught her eye...

From the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a pink-haired man bickering with a half-naked man. He wore no shirt, but a black vest, with a gold rim. Also, with white baggy pants, with a skirt, the same color as his vest and sandals. She narrowed her eyes a bit at his pink hair. She had this feeling that she knew where she had seen the color of his hair. A picture then flashed in her head. She saw a mass of pink hair holding her in his arms. 'That's him. He has to be the one who saved me.'

Moka silently walked up to him, slightly alerting Makarov and Mirajane. She gently tapped her savior on the shoulder.

The man spun around to yell at whoever interrupted them but froze when he saw a girl with hair the same color, almost like his, looking at him, her innocence shining at him. It was the girl whom he saved from the rain. "Um...hi. You must be Natsu, are you not?"

The guy named Natsu eyed her suspiciously. How on earth did this girl know his name? He might have found her, but he never told her his name. "Yeeaah, that's me. And you are?"

Moka smiled shyly. "I want to thank you for saving me out of the rain that day. I really appreciate what you've done. If you hadn't shown up, I would've been dead."

Natsu grinned sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "Ah, it was nothin'. Besides, you looked like you needed help, anyway."

She continued to smile before turning to Makarov and Mirajane. "And Master, I want to thank you and Mirajane as well." She bowed, expressing her gratitude to both of them.

"Oh, it is no problem, Moka. After all, we couldn't just leave you behind in that dreadful weather in the forest." Makarov chuckled.

"I'll be leaving now. Thanks for the offer, Master Makarov." Moka smiled.

"Of course. You are welcomed back here, anytime. If you ever change your mind, we'll be waiting." the old man smiled. In reality, deep down inside, it saddened him that he couldn't get this girl to join the guild, along with his children as he hoped. He silently watched the pink-haired girl leave his guild, not glancing at him or anything in return.

Natsu watched in confusion as to the girl he saved walked out of the guild. "Wait. So that's it?" He turned to the master, wanting answers right away. "We're just gonna let her walk out like that, Gramps?"

Makarov sighed. "Yes, Natsu. She has already made her decision to leave, and I very well respect that," he confirmed, looking back at the dragon slayer.

"But still. I mean, we did save her life, right?" he asked, feeling dispirited that she would so much as to not join their beloved guild in Fiore. "She coulda at least stayed and became a member of our guild hall instead of just leaving."

"Natsu, my boy, you still have a lot to learn." the master sighed once again.

"Hey, just what the heck that's suppose to mean?"

"You will have to understand that not everyone that we cross paths with has to become a member of our guild. She doesn't have to become a member if she doesn't wish to. This girl had a strong desire to leave in order to go look for her friends, whom she claims are waiting for her in the other world."

"The other world?" he repeated, becoming utterly confused now. "Whaddya mean by "other" world? You talkin' about Earthland, right?"

"I'm afraid that is not where she came from, from what she explained to me." the old man said, closing his eyes. "She is from another dimension that is called the Monster World. A world that is the homeland for monsters like herself..."

❥๑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━๑❥

~Town of Magnolia~

Moka was taking a quick journey through the town of Magnolia, deep in thought. 'I'm in a world called Earthland and a country called Fiore.' she pondered, walking past the surrounding people, who either greeted her or smiled at her. 'Just how did I get here in the first place? There's no way something randomly teleported me through the rosary, that's for sure. I wonder if there's any way of getting back to my world.'

With the layout and design of the town she was in, she immediately knew she was far from home. The clothes that the surrounding people wore differed from what the people in her world wore.

The only thing that didn't seem hazy in her memory was waking up alone in a dark forest. Vines were surrounding her body as their thorns pricked at her skin. She knew it was impossible to travel here from Earth on pure feet. If she did, it'd probably take more than that for her to be here...in a world full of unusual things. 'Tsukune...everyone. I hope you guys are okay. Just wait for me...I'm coming.'

"Hey, Mika! Wait up!" shouted a familiar voice from behind her.

Her eyes widen, her face lighting up at the sound of the voice she longed to hear. 'Tsukune!' she squealed with joy in her head. She spun around with a cheerful smile on her face. However, her smile instantly faded when her expectations were false. Instead of expecting Tsukune as she hoped, she was met with the one person running towards her. Her savior.

She watched him let out heavy pants of his breath, his hands resting on his knees. "Good thing I caught up to ya before it was too late," he said in between heavy pants. "I heard what happened from Gramps."

"It's Moka. What do you want?" she gently demanded, upset she mistook her savior for Tsukune.

"Well, the master wanted me to see if you had anywhere to stay." She roamed her eyes down to her feet, not sure if she wanted to answer him. She opened her mouth to speak up, but he beat her to it. "Because if you didn't, we wanted to know if you'd like to stay in the guild. Well...er, until you find a new home is all."

Moka tilted her head to the side in confusion. "He's giving me somewhere to stay?" she repeated, not sure of what to do. She knew he wasn't exactly saying she had to join, but until she could find somewhere to stay, she could stay in the guild for as long as she wanted. She wouldn't have to stay out on the streets, lonely with nowhere to go. But Moka had to search for a way back to her world and friends. They were probably worried sick about her. "I'm sorry, but I have to get back home. Besides, I already declined your master's offer."

He frowned at her answer. "You traveled here alone, right? Don't ya think that's pretty lonely for a girl like you? I mean, don't you want to have a place where you have lots of friends?"

"I didn't travel here by myself." She said, turning to look at him.

'I woke up here by myself.' she corrected in her head.

"Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but I already have friends that are waiting for me at home," she answered, trying to make it clear to him. "I'm sorry, but I have to get going now." Eager to get away from him as soon as possible, she quickly strode away from him, ignoring anything else he had to say. She walked silently through the crowd of people, her thoughts pondering around in her head. 'How can I get back to where I came from? There has to be some way I can get back. When I woke up, I was in a forest. So if I go back there, it'll probably come back to me how I got here.' She halted when she felt like she was being followed. It could be anyone around her who could be following her. Just anyone. She looked behind her to see that the guy she thought she brushed off nicely was following her. She watched him panic when her eyes caught his figure and hid in an alleyway. She shook her head and just continued her search for the forest. 'If I go back to where I woke up, I may-' She walked faster when he continued to follow her.

When she felt his presence behind her, she turned to look at him fully. "Stop stalking me." the pinkette admonished, softly glaring at her stalker.

"Hey now, I ain't stalkin' you!" he comically denied. "That's a pretty messed up accusation you makin', right there. Don't ya think?"

Moka continued to glare at him. It didn't take a genius to know that he was stalking her from what she could tell. "Oh, so you're not suddenly walking behind me and hiding in dark places when I'm not looking? That sounds a lot like following to me. Which pretty much means you're stalking me, and that makes it illegal in every way to where it can get you arrested without a single thought." she stated.

Natsu opened his mouth to give a remark but only found blank words to give her. He scratched the back of his head, grinning sheepishly at her. 'Well, she kinda has a point there.' he thought. "Would ya at least try it? If you don't like it, you can leave."

"I already told you! I don't want to join your stupid guild! Now leave me alone!" she snapped.

"Alright, alright, I get the message! Sheesh, I'm goin' out of my way to help you, and you go totally ballistic!" he retorted with an angry expression. "Is this how you treat people who save you? Huh? By being this bitchy to people?" he questioned without thinking at all.

'Bitchy?' Her eyes narrowed at him, her anger radiating in her body. "I don't need your help, and I'm pretty sure I don't want it. I can take care of myself. Don't come near me again if I'm so "bitchy" to you." she firmly said, this time running away from him.

It was then he realized what he said was wrong. "Hey, wait! I didn't mean-" He was too late when he saw no trace of her. "Crap. Guess I might've taken it too far," he said, scratching the back of his head in slight guilt. "Cute girl, but her attitude just sucks." He just didn't understand how someone can be so pretty and have an icy heart at the same time.

❥๑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━๑❥

Moka ran through the crowd of people, anger silent in her system. 'I can't believe that I thanked him all for nothing. What a jerk.' She paused to think for a moment. 'But still...all he was trying to do was help me. Maybe I shouldn't have yelled at him like that.' As much as she didn't want to admit it herself, Moka did indeed felt like she was a little "bitchy" towards him. Better things would've happened to her if she had just accepted his offer to join with him. But then again, she knew all of that probably would not last long if they ever knew she was the one species people feared; a shinso vampire. She shook her head, trying to get those theories out of her head. What did she care, anyway? She had friends and a lover waiting for her back home. 'No. I can't be thinking like this. I have to get back to the forest.' She glanced towards the sky and saw that the sun was settling down below the town. 'The sun is setting. I have to get there before it's dark.' She resumed her search for the dark forest.

~A few moments later~

The shinso vampire leaned against the tree, tired from the long journey from the town called Magnolia. As Moka panted out heavy breaths, she looked around for the spot she had first woken up from. "I'm here. Now all I have to do is find the spot where I woke up." She carefully sought around for the spot. She shivered from the cold the darkness gave off. "It's freezing. Good thing they gave me clothes before I left. Now, it has to be around here somewhere." she muttered to herself, looking around the forest.

"My, my, how lovely." spoke a male voice behind her. She looked behind her to see a slim, yet muscular man with spiky blond locks leaning against a tree. He had slanted red eyes and a scar on his right eye. She couldn't deny that she found him reasonably attractive; however, he was not in her preference. "Tell me. What's a beautiful girl, like yourself doing all the way out here alone?"

"Who...Who are you?" she inquired, feeling slightly uneasy about his presence. 'I don't like the looks of him. His aura seems dark.'

He smiled cockily. "I could ask you the same thing, you know?" he replied casually, leaning off the tree and walking towards Moka. She slowly backed away in slight fear. "Relax, I won't hurt you. Now, I'll ask you again." He gently took hold of her chin, turning her face to look at him. "What are you doing here all by yourself?"

'Why do I feel so scared, just being near him? He's only trying to be nice...so why do I feel scared?' She tried to move half of her body, but it did not wish to cooperate with her. 'Why can't I move my body?' she thought as she tried to move. A churning feeling had developed at the bottom of her stomach. "I...I was going home," she said, hoping it'd be an appropriate answer for him.

"Really? In the middle of the night? In the forest? From what it looks like, it doesn't seem like you were going home," he remarked, now smirking. "I bet you tell that to every guy that has an interest in you."

Moka looked at him with disbelief before shaking her head. "Look, I have to get going, okay? My friends are waiting for me."

"Whoa, there. Hold it." He grabbed a whole of her wrist, spinning her around. He smiled down at her, his crimson eyes burning deep into her soul. "Do I at least get your name first?" The pinkette glared at him, now becoming frustrated. "Just tell me your name and I'll let you go. That's all I ask." he bargained, putting himself in her personal space.

Moka knew that somewhere in his eyes, she saw nothing but ill-intentions within them. That was enough for her to know that this man was up to something. And it did not seem good. First, that Natsu guy and now him. She shook her head. "No. I really need to go. Now." With nothing else left to say, she tried walking away, but he only held onto her wrist. When she felt his grip tighten, a winced allowed itself to escape past her lips.

She watched as his face twisted in anger, his eyes glowing blood red. "Playing hard to get, are we? You think you're better than me?" he growled, squeezing her wrist tighter. "You think you're too good to talk to me, is that it?"

Moka desperately tried to free herself from this persistent man. "Stop it. You're squeezing too tight." She cried out in pain when he increased the grip on her arm. "Let go! You're hurting me!"

His face was filled with disgust and amusement. "You must enjoy playing mind games, don't you?" he sneered, violently pulling her to his body. "Who do you think you are, you feculent whore?"

"Let go of me!" she screamed, pushing him away from her with much force so hard that he hit a tree. 'I used too much force.' she pondered as she watched him slid down the tree, unconscious. 'Good. Then, that means I still have my powers left, even though I don't have my rosary anymore.'

"You will regret ever doing that..." he chuckled darkly. Moka whipped around to see him behind her with a much darker expression. What frightened her the most was that red aura glowing around his body. His hands tightly gripped her top before ripping it open, exposing her chest to the world.

She instantly backed away from him, terrified. "W-What are you doing?!" she shrieked, covering her bare chest. Her eyes widened when she saw a sphere of lightning generating around his hands. 'What is he doing? Just what is he?' She knew he could be far from being human. She gasped when the sphere of lightning came towards her, tearing through the rest of her clothing. The only thing left behind were her panties. She glanced at him in horror as she watched the surrounding aura grow even stronger and terrifying than before, the electricity around his hands still generating as he stalked towards her.

Overwhelmingly frighten at the sight before her eyes, she instinctively made a run for it. 'Just who is this guy? He's not normal from what I'm seeing.' Moka rapidly sprinted through the woods, not caring she might collapse from the little stamina she had left. She couldn't stay here...she needed to get away and fast. Glancing behind her, she noticed he was nowhere behind her. But somewhere inside her mind, she knew this deadly game of cat and mouse would not end. To her, it was more like a predator and prey. He was the predator, she was his prey he was hunting for, and the predator would not stop until he hunted her down. She sharply hid behind a tree, gasping out shallow breaths. The sound of his heavy footsteps filled her ears as she tried to conceal her presence behind the tree. Her hands covered her mouth to silence her heavy breathing. 'Don't make a sound. Don't make a sound.' Moka silently told herself in her head. She was too afraid to do anything at the moment. The only thing left for her to do was to stay put and not make one sound or even a squeak.

"Where are you, my lovely rose?" taunted the voice of her attacker. "You know you can't hide out here forever. Someone like you could die if you stay in a place like this." Tears were now leaking out of her eyes. Moka didn't know what he wanted, but she wanted it to stop right here and now. Her nerves relaxed as she heard his footsteps descend away. When she took this as an opportunity to escape, a hand suddenly shot out and grabbed her by the waist. She felt herself being whirled around, only to be struck harshly in the face. Her body fell to the ground, her hand holding her cheek in pain. "Didn't think I'd find you, huh?"

Moka carefully scooted away from him in fear. There was nothing left for her to do now that her attacker captured her. 'Is there anything I could do? Does this mean I'm completely useless now?' He interrupted her thoughts when he pinned both of her arms above her head. Her immediate struggle to break free only became futile because of his relatively firm grip on her wrist. "Let go!"

"Hold still," he growled, grasping hold of one of her breasts. "Lovely you." A hiss of pain left her lips as his nails dug into her skin, effectively drawing bits of blood in the process. Her legs begin to shuffle themselves around underneath him to break the concentration that he had on her. "Lie still, damn you," he whispered impatiently.

Refusing to cooperate with him, Moka opened her mouth and put her voice to fair use. "H-HELP! HEEELLPP!" she screamed out in hopes that somewhere and someone in the forest would hear her cries. When she only heard her own voice echo back at her in response, she once again cried out. "LET GO OF ME! S-SOMEONE…HELP! H-HELP ME!" Her screams ranged through the dark forest, but the silence was the only thing being received. "GET OFF ME!"

The man above her chuckled darkly with amusement at her efforts to escape. "It's useless," he said dryly. "You can try your hardest to scream all you want. We're practically in the middle of nowhere, so no matter how loud you scream, no one will hear you." he finished sadistically, leering down at her body.

He leaned for and licked the nape of her neck.

Moka shivered with disgust from his tongue caressing her skin. Tears did not resist falling from her eyes. She felt helpless. Downright pathetic. This was not how she wanted her fate to be. To be killed and wake up in another world, only to be met with this kind of future. 'No. I don't want this. This isn't how I wanted it to be. Is this my punishment for dying?' Her hands turned into fists. 'Please...Tsukune...if you're out there somewhere, please help me. I don't want to end up like this...' She felt numb all over. She felt ruined, that she was letting him take advantage of her. She didn't move an inch, even when she felt him stroke her knees before parting them open.

When he saw that his prey was no longer resisting, a sinister smile crept across his demonic face. "It seems that you've finally given in to temptation. I can only assume that you have accepted what is to happen next." She made no move to retaliate. The thing only she could do was pray and hope that all of this was a nightmare. He ripped apart her panties, revealing her sacred place. "You truly are a beautiful girl. How very fortunate," he uttered with twisted admiration. He took his precious time leering at the body of his victim. "Now, now, try not to be scared. I'll take you nice and easy." He leaned over and kissed her roughly, forcing his tongue through her mouth. Ultimately revolted, Moka bit down as hard as she could on his tongue, making him withdraw his tongue. The man growled and struck her hard across the face. Before she had a short time to recover, she felt another fist come in contact with the other side of her face leaving a harsh sting. The taste of metallic and salt filled her mouth. He glared at the helpless vampire with a share of his own blood on his lips. "Do you want to try that again, you little bitch?"

Moka only stared at him, terrified with fear. Before she had time to think about anything else, he brutally pinned her arms above her head. "Try anything clever and it'll be a lot worse than what I did," he whispered with sinister in his voice, a dark aura radiating off his body. A gasp left her throat when he cupped her breast with his free hand.

Moka bit into her lip, refusing to make a sound. She realized she had no control and, despite herself, trembled. However, she knew that he, of all people, didn't have any interest in allowing any modesty. A faint whimper escaped past her lips at the feeling of his clawed finger dancing lightly over one coral nipple, making it instantly hard. "That's right," he encouraged, "make noise for me." He pressed her nipple between his fingers very hard but did not release.

Moka thrashed in pain, her fangs sinking further into her mouth. The sudden feeling of cold air hit her entrance. Expecting what would come next, she juddered her head back and forth.

Her eyes closed themselves just as she felt him release her. "Don't close your eyes," he growled threateningly. "Look at me. Look me in the eye. Your humiliation excites me further." He pressed his fingers against her entrance. "I said look at me, damn it." However, she did not look at him. She refused to take in the sight of him. "Tch. Fine, have it your way. If this is how you want to play this little game, then I'll just have to show you how it's played." Her eyes shot open when she heard that sentence. She shook her head as a sign of telling him she didn't want him to continue. Of course, "no" was a straightforward answer he refused to accept when she felt his manhood near her entrance. "I'm going to enjoy this," he whispered in her ear, sending chilling shivers to go down her spine.

She looked at him with pleading eyes. "N-No! Please, don't! I'm begging you! Stop!" she begged, only to have her mouth covered by his hand.

"Don't worry. It'll hurt for a moment." The man smirked. And then the awful moment came...he entered her. A muffled, agonizing scream of pain broke out into the silent forest. It hurt so much. Both physically and emotionally.

He immediately thrust into her, hard and long. Moka shut her eyes tightly as she felt the pain repeatedly come in her lower region along with every thrust. Her body writhed painfully underneath him and he groaned in pleasure. Tears fell down her face as brief screams tore from her throat as the pain reached its way to her soul and filled it with hate.

This wasn't how she wanted to lose her virginity, to be cornered and forced into intercourse for someone's sick pleasure. Something snapped inside of her as she watched the man move above her. Moka knew she would never be the same after this. And even if she wanted to, she knew she wouldn't be able to forget about this traumatic experience. It wasn't a casual encounter, nor was it love. It was sexual assault.

As the monster above her continued to have his way with her, she only laid there in silence, her eyes becoming emotionless with tears. Her soul had mentally left her body behind, trying to escape the horrors of what was taking place. Her pupils focused on the sky patterned with tiny stars, honing in on them to distract her mind into thinking what was currently happening to her wasn't genuinely happening to her at all. She was no longer there, not the one enduring the cruel ravishment from the sadist of a man. The guilt and fear only prevented her from screaming out and fighting back like she previously wanted to. At this point, she knew it was too late. There was nothing else she could do. Lying still and praying silently to herself that it will be over soon was the choice she wanted to make. It was too late.

She felt nothing anymore...she couldn't feel anything anymore—no pain...or pleasure.

Just pure numbness.

After a few minutes or so, he quickened his pace, her body slightly jerking a bit. She didn't bother trying to resist any longer..that man stole an essential part of Moka from her and she could never retrieve it back. While he drilled himself through her, he pulled back and dived his face into her neck, sinking his teeth into her skin. With one last thrust and a loud growl, he spilt his seed inside of her. Her body twitched as he quickly pulled out of her.

"N-No...what have I done…?"

However, she didn't seem to hear his words of regret as she was too wrapped up in her despair. His presence abruptly leaving her behind went unacknowledged.

Desolation filled her heart.

Her flaccid body lay on the ground unmoving, her wearisome eyes focused on the dark skies of the night. She made no move to wipe the crimson liquid that leaked from her mouth and between her legs. Not even the newly fresh tears that gracefully crawled themselves down her inexpressive face.

Her entire body felt shut down. The only thing that was working was her soft breathing.

For what seemed like an hour, her eyelids fell shut. She fought to keep them open as she did not wish to fall unconscious in the horrendous forest. After the horrible experience she had to endure, she did not trust the trees in shadowing over her body, and passing out in the chilly night was the last thing she wanted to happen. She wanted death to overcome her than to allow herself to fall prey to the surrounding atmosphere.

She had the powerful will to get up and find a shelter to rest in, but unfortunately, sleep was what her body desired as she currently felt deliberated. She wanted to sleep and to hopefully never awaken again for the remainder of her life.

Unable to keep her eyes open, she allowed them to fall shut slowly…

"I...I'm...sor...ry..." she said.

Tsukune's eyes immediately tore away from the chaos that ensued to the girl he held in his arms. Her beautiful, but dull eyes were staring up at him, blood dripping from her lips and onto her beautiful white dress.

"Moka!" Relief immediately replaced his sorrow at the sight of his beloved barely alive, but breathing.

"You've regained consciousness, Moka! That's gr-"

"I'm...sorry..." she apologized once more, cutting him short. "You want to create a world where humans and monsters coexist in peace... That's what you've always said, Tsukune..." she recounted hoarsely. "But now all your dreams are all shattered...because my seal has been broken... I'm sorry..." she finished, tears now falling as she closed her eyes.

"Wh-What are you apologizing for, Moka?" he asked, trying to put on a brave face for Moka through his tears. "Don't try to talk. Let's go to the others so they can treat your injuries..."

Moka continued to stare at him, having no other answer to give him. She allowed her eyes to close, letting a small smile come across her face. "No, it's okay... I know better than anyone that...it's too late..."

"No! That's not true! It can't be!" he cried, refusing to accept her response.

"Anyway...you know the truth now...don't you? I'm just an artificial personality...created by the Rosario..." she explained through her weak voice. "My only purpose...is to protect the seal...But now that the Rosario's seal has been destroyed...there's no reason for me to exist...all that's left for me...is to disappear..."

Meanwhile, Alucard, the monster now revived, roamed the city of the Human World. Tokyo's human citizen displayed great fear at the giant being who intended to kill all of them without a single thought. Valuing their lives, they ran away to any place that could bring them safety.

Tsukune shook his head in disbelief at the words that came out of her mouth. "No! D-Don't say that!" he argued, still holding the vampire in his arms. "Don't say there's no point in your existence anymore! I...I need you! I won't let you disappear!"

"Tsu...kune..." she whispered. "Until I met you…I had nothing… My life was meaningless. But...you changed that! You made every day bright... You taught me the meaning of life..."

Hearing this made Tsukune smile. "I love you, Moka." he confessed, tears falling freely from his face. "I love you and I love you and...I can't imagine a life without you anymore."

"But…I'm…just a fake…" Tsukune only looked down at Moka with love-filled eyes through his tears. "Heh… I'm so happy...so much so...that I feel as if...I could come back to life..."

Through her blurry vision, she watched the person she loved slowly lean in towards her face and gently pressed his mouth to hers. Moka allowed her eyes to fall closed slowly and tearfully returned the kiss. Both of them cared little of the blood that soiled their lips. They cared little about what was taking place worldwide. This very moment mattered to them the most.

"I love you too. I've loved you from the moment...we met..." she responded through their kiss. "I don't want to... disappear...I want to...with you...forever and ever...Tsukune..."

Once their kiss was over, Tsukune gently embraced the vampiress to his chest. "Don't worry...I'll always be by your side..."

"Tsuku..." His name never got to leave her lips, for she had taken her last and only breath. The heart that beat a few times within her chest came to a complete stop. Her hand that rested on his shoulder fell lifeless beside her body.

Dullen emerald eyes fluttered open as she felt the gentle heat of the sunlight radiating on the skin of her body. She gently turned over on her side and pulled her arms to her, curling up into a small ball to hide from the sun.

It hurts.

Everywhere on her body hurt. Every small move she would make caused her discomfort. Moka felt heavy, uneasy, like a ball of lead weighing her down.

Get up.

Get up.

She mentally told herself.

She'd be damned to allow herself to be chained down any longer. It made her feel weak than she already was. With a sharp intake of her breath, Moka slowly and carefully eased her upper body from the cold hard ground. Next, she turned to the side to get on all fours and brought her strong leg forward, knee bent with her opposite hand on the grass surface. A grunt left her lips as her throbbing muscles reacted negatively to the movement. Lifting up, she placed both hands on her front quad.

Moka stayed in that position for a while to rest for a quick moment before using the strength of her thigh and upper body to push back to a standing position slowly.

After standing there to take in her surroundings for a minute, she began to walk somewhere unknown, trying to keep herself from losing balance on the way.

The shinso vampire trudged through a full, yet quiet city. She ignored the stares and whispers of the surrounding citizens. The words that the people uttered didn't matter to her. Modesty was the very last thing that she cared little for now.

Everything she once had was gone.

Her home.

Her friends.

Her innocence.

Tsukune…

She felt utterly powerless. With her virginity stolen from her entirely, Moka felt ruined. Ruined for all men that can be the man she'll give her heart to, one day. Even for her Tsukune.

Her feet came to a sudden stop. She stared ahead of the surrounding people with a blank stare. In her head, she was alone. No one was around but her. No footsteps. No chatter of the town folks. Everything was quiet.

"Excuse me, Miss," sounded a male voice. "Are you alright?"

However, his voice of concern went unheard, for she was too focused in her own world. Her eyes fell closed, shutting out everything in sight. Her body fell forward and made contact with the hard surface.

And just like that, she was somewhere full of darkness…
