Happy New Year

Happy New Year guys! Currently feeling a little sorry for myself after getting a little too merry at the street party last night… Anyway, a special Snowing New Year's oneshot. Things might be a little scarce in the next few days as I cannot procrastinate writing my essays any longer!

Snow relaxed into her husband's side, basking in the warm glow of the fire. Another year was finished, with the excitement of the year ahead in front of them. They had exciting milestones from Neal to look forward to and moments to make up for with their daughter and grandson. They would make this their year.

"Here's to a year of not having to find anyone in this family." Charming sighed, planting a small kiss on Snow's neck. She sighed in return, nodding.

"I'll second that. That's all in the past for this family. Here's to quite literally keeping out of the past and looking forward to a bright future instead."

"Agreed." Charming said, one of his hand's slowly moving up Snow's thigh. Snow grinned mischievously, knowing exactly what he was up to.

"Well, it's far too late. I think I'm going to get some sleep. Night dear." She said, placing a small kiss on his cheek. She bit her lip to stop herself from laughing at the disgruntled look on his face as she walked towards their bedroom.

"Of course, " She said, pausing at the doorway. "You could always come join me?" Charming grinned, getting up quickly.

"Well best start the year as we mean to go on." He joked, coming over and wrapping his arms around her waist before pulling her into a heated kiss. There was the faint sound of fireworks in the background, but the lovers were totally unaware. They were far too interested in a different type of bang.
