Prom

A guest asked for a oneshot of Henry going on his senior prom and Charming giving him advice so his moms won't worry.

"There." Charming said, as he finished doing up Henry's bow tie. "Perfect."

"Thanks Gramps." Henry mumbled, nervous. He would be going to pick up Grace soon. "Is everyone else waiting for pictures and stuff downstairs?"

"Yeah, but before we go, come sit down a minute." Charming said, sitting down on Henry's bed and patting the space beside him." His eyebrows furrowing together in confusion, Henry sat beside his grandpa.

"It's nothing to worry about. It's just…your moms asked me to have a little chat with you." And by asked, Charming meant Emma had told him if he didn't Charming wouldn't be seeing any of his grandchildren for a month. Henry went slightly pink, hadn't this been covered already? Charming smiled, knowing what was going through his brain. "Nothing that bad, I promise. Just the basics. Number one: I'm sure there'll be plenty of people who've snuck in alcohol. I'm sure those people will make you feel uncool if you don't drink it. Trust me, it's not worth it. You want to be able to remember this night and not have a pounding headache tomorrow morning. Besides, I don't think you want your moms throttling you." Charming grimaced at the image. He wasn't bothered with alcohol anyway. "Number two: If Jefferson gives you a time to have Grace home by don't be late. Not even a second. Trust me, if I had raised your mom and someone brought her home late there would have been Hell to pay so don't push it, ok kid?" Again, Henry nodded. "And finally, make sure if you go to kiss her or anything it's not a surprise. Give her a chance to pull away if she wants. She might be too nervous."

"I will." Charming promised- he didn't want to upset her. Charming smiled, getting up.

"Well then, that's everything. Come on, let's get these photos out of the way." Charming laughed at Henry's grimaced as they left his room and walked down the stairs. Henry was immediately greeted with everyone telling him how dashing he looked. All Charming was greeted with was a raised eyebrow from both Regina and Emma. He gave a slight smile and a subtle nod. They both relaxed, and so did Charming. He didn't want either of them throttling him either!
