Surrounded by love

A few people have asked for a continuation to "Special delivery".

Emma sat exhausted on the hospital bed. She couldn't believe her daughter was finally here. Of course both she and Killian were upset that he wasn't at the birth, but both understood the circumstances couldn't be helped. Besides, he was here now, and he was here to stay. He was currently standing not too far from Emma with Eira in his arms, cooing down proudly at her with Henry peeking over Killian's shoulder to get a good look at his baby sister. Neal was in Henry's arms, also trying to get a good look. Charming and Snow had each had their turn of holding their granddaughter, and knew it wasn't fair to take her off him just now. No matter how adorable she was. Instead, they settled for sitting either side of Emma on her bed, letting her know just how proud they were of her. Emma thought it might take a bit more time for her to be able to look her mother in the eye. She would feel that way about anyone who'd stuck their hand up where they shouldn't, it didn't matter that it was her mother. Her eyelids were beginning to droop, but Emma fought it. She didn't want to stop watching Eira, just in case. Charming chuckled, pulling the covers over Emma and gently pushing her back.

"Sleep, you've more than earned a proper rest. Eira's with her daddy, perfectly safe. Besides, we're all here too. Nothing is going to happen to her. You'll wake up when she wants fed." Charming assured her. Both he and Snow knew what was going through her mind. This family may be full of love but it didn't exactly have the greatest track record with babies. But still, Emma knew she could not keep her eyes open. At least she knew when she opened them, she would not be alone. At the very least her daughter and husband would still be there if not her parents, brother and son. So with a peaceful smile, Emma closed her eyes and slept.
