Darkness- part 2

I think I've had more requests for a sequel to "Darkness" than I've had for any other chapter. So thanks to Fusion Palace for the original request!

Snow and Charming rushed towards the Snow Queen's lair. They didn't want Emma or Elsa under her spell a second longer than they had to be. The Blue Fairy had arrived not long after the Snow Queen had left taking Emma and Elsa with her after sensing the giant surge of magic. She had managed to release the Charmings and heal both Kristoff and Regina. She conjured up a pair of magical scissors for Snow and Charming that would break the ribbons. They took the scissors and now here they were, rushing towards the lair.

"We need a plan." Snow hissed as they came close to entering. "We can't just waltz in there and cut the ribbons.

"We need to gain Emma's trust." Charming whispered. "Make her see that we mean no harm. We need to promise her that if once the ribbon is off she wants to stay with Ingrid she can." Charming saw Snow's eyes widen in horror at the idea. "I know you don't like it. Neither do I. But it's our only hope." Snow could see that he was right and nodded, gripping the scissors tightly.

Together, they approached the lair. They could hear the three woman laughing inside.

"We are outside and coming in!" Charming shouted. "It is just Snow and I. We mean no harm. Please do not harm us!" Charming and Snow took the sudden silence as a sign that they could enter.

"What do you want? I thought I'd made myself clear earlier." Emma hissed.

"We want a chance for you to think clearly." Snow placed the scissors on the floor in front of her. "Those scissors are magical. You can't take that ribbon off by yourself, the scissors are the only thing that'll allow you to take it off. It's affecting how you think. All we ask is that you take the ribbon off and then if you still want to stay with Ingrid we'll leave and never come back as long as you're happy." Emma rolled her eyes. They just wouldn't quit. Couldn't they accept that she loved Ingrid more than them? Emma couldn't see the panic on Ingrid's face beside her.

"Fine. I'll take the stupid ribbon off and then you'll see that I don't want to be with you…" Emma started to walk towards them, but Ingrid caught her hand.

"No Emma. Don't trust them. They will have enchanted those scissors with more than the power to cut through the ribbon."

"Emma we swear to you that's all those scissors are for." Charming promised. Emma looked at him and could tell that he wasn't lying. Emma shrugged Ingrid off.

"He's not lying. Let's just get it over with so they leave." Emma was reaching for the scissors when Ingrid tried to grab her neck and pull her back. Snow stopped her by pulling her shoulder back.

"Never lay your hands on my child." Snow snarled. Emma turned around, fuming. How dare Snow try and hurt Ingrid! Charming could see Emma changing her mind. Not wanting to miss their chance, he grabbed the scissors and cut the ribbon off. Emma gasped, the spell broken. She realised what she'd done- how she'd been behaving.

"No!" Ingrid screamed. She was about to blast Snow when Emma froze her to the spot.

"Ingrid, stop. You've lost…" Emma screamed out when an icicle suddenly pierced her back. She fell to her knees on the cave floor.

"Traitor!" Elsa snapped. Emma quickly healed herself and used her magic to send the scissors flying at Elsa's wrist. The caught the ribbon and tore it from her. Elsa shook her head, also realising what had happened. She moved forward to try and attack Ingrid, but Emma held her back.

"It's not worth it!" Emma told her. She conjured up a cage around the now furious Ingrid. "I'll send the Blue Fairy back to decide what to do with you. I don't want to ever see your face again." Emma spat, turning and leaving the cave with Elsa hot on her heels, both ignoring Ingrid's cries of their names. Snow scowled at the woman in the cage.

"This is more than you deserve. You had no right brainwashing them like that. They could have killed someone that they loved."

"But I love them!" She wailed, sinking to the floor. Charming tugged on Snow's hand, getting her to leave with him. Ingrid was beyond their help. Right now they had to focus on their family, and keeping it in one piece.
