Stay
A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing finding Emma in the forest instead of Henry. The incident at the mommy and me class is brought up. She tries to run again but Snow stops her.
"There!" Charming called out, spotting Emma through the trees. Emma's head snapped up as she saw her parents running towards her.
"Stay back!" She warned as they came closer. "I can't control it." Snow and Charming slowed their approach, not wanting to frighten her.
"We're so glad we found you." Charming said, his worry beginning with ease. They could see Emma obviously didn't believe them. "Emma, we can sort this-"
"Oh really?" Emma snapped. "We can sort this? Do you have magic spilling out of you?!" A small blast came from Emma's hand causing her to stumble back. "Go away! You're just making it worse!" Snow and Charming stood their ground.
"No, we won't leave you like this." Snow said calmly. "You are scared, and it's causing your powers to play up. You just need to try and calm down..."
"Calm down? You think it's just that easy? Besides, you didn't care how I felt earlier. All you cared about was that your precious baby was nowhere near the uncontrollable monster." Emma snarled. Snow of course felt a pang of guilt in her chest. She knew she'd reacted badly.
"Emma, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry." Snow said sincerely. "We're all still getting used to your powers..."
"You pulled him away." Emma said, voice laced with hurt. "You didn't even trust me to hold him." Snow daringly took a step forward.
"If I could go back and change how things happened I would Emma. It was wrong of me to make you think I would ever be frightened of you or that I don't trust you with your brother. Please, give me another chance. Come home with us." Emma could see the pleading in both her parents' eyes. But she couldn't go home- not like this. She would hurt someone. Emma shook her head, stepping backwards.
"No, no. I can't go with you. It's too dangerous. Besides, that look you gave...I can't ever see that look again. I'll be better on my own." Emma turned to run, but Snow wasn't having it. She bolted after Emma grabbing her wrist and spinning her around. Her hands were still glowing bright red, but Snow didn't care. Before Emma could say anything Snow pulled her into a tight hug.
"You will never see that look again." Snow promised. Charming came over and joined his wife, wrapping his arms around both Emma and Snow. Emma could feel the magic dulling, and as it did her energy began to fade. Snow could feel Emma leaning more heavily against her and realised what was happening. She gently maneuvered Emma so she was leaning against Charming. He took the hint and picked her up. Charming looked to his wife.
"Let's go home."
