Grandparents- part 3
Quite a few people have asked for a part 3 to Grandparents. This will be the last I'll write in this mini series.
"So you really met them?" Snow asked, awe struck. Emma nodded.
"Yes, all three." She confirmed. "I even saw you as a baby mom. You were sleeping dad. But I spent more quality time with your mom. I think your dad thought I was trying to kidnap your mom and you, mom..." Emma told her family who all laughed.
"Did they look like they do in my book mom?" Henry asked excitedly. He had been the most excited to hear about Emma's adventure in the past.
"Mostly kid." Emma answered him, ruffling his hair. "They looked a lot younger when I saw them. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with them to examine them closely, I just wanted to come home to you guys." Charming reached over and took one of Snow's hands. Each shared a warmth in their hearts as Emma explained the whole trip to them. They were both glad their parents got to spend time with at least one of their grandchildren- even if it was in a very unorthodox way.
"They would all have loved being proper grandparents to you Em." Charming told his daughter, not missing the way it made her lightly blush. "It's true, you would have been so spoiler by them. My mom made these amazing scones when we had enough wool to trade for sugar. They were the most delicious things I ever tasted. I know you would have grown up in the palace with more food than you would have known what to do with, but I think you would have loved them. You too Henry." Henry grinned, appreciating the mention.
"I'm sure I would have." She responded, touched. Emma truly believed her father that they would have made great grandparents, just like they were great parents.
