Just one touch

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snow remembering who she really is after picking up Emma's baby blanket.

There was something drawing Mary Margaret to the little woolen blanket. It was like it was the anchor to her ship. She was sure she'd seen it before, but how could she have? Mary Margaret just had toe overwhelming urge to pick it up...to bury it against her face. She looked cautiously over her shoulder, just to make sure Emma wasn't there. She would never be able to look her roommate in the eye again if Emma caught her with the blanket. She walked over slowly and placed her hand round out. She gasped, her mind exploding with pictures and sounds.

"Emma"

"Wardrobe"

"Curse"

She knew this blanket was familiar, it was her daughter's. Emma was her daughter! She wasn't meek little school teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard. She was Snow White, rebel Princess. Charming's wife. Henry's grandmother. Emma's mother. She had to find them. Regina was out there. Snow had no doubt that Regina had never been cursed, she always knew what was happening. If Regina found out that she was remembering Snow couldn't guarantee her family's safety. She had to go out and find them. But what then? Henry would be fine, he had been right all along with the curse. Snow suddenly felt guilty for not believing the little boy. Her little grandson. Yes, explaining to him that Snow remembered who she really was wouldn't be a problem, it was Charming and Emma that she would have issues with. Charming was still cursed, he still believed he was David Nolan. Sure, he liked Mary Margaret, but would that be enough? Would true love's kiss be able to break this curse? And Emma... that was a whole different ballgame.

"Sorry, I forgot my walkie!" Emma called from downstairs. Snow's heart leapt inside her chest. That was her baby. She had to see her, had to hold her. Snow sprinted out the room and down the stairs and practically rugby tackled Emma into a hug.

"Woh there!" Emma yelped, not expecting the sudden contact. She wasn't sure she really liked it. "What was that about?" She asked when Snow let her go.

"I'm sorry...I just needed a hug." Snow lied. Emma could tell straight away that she was lying, but didn't say anything. She obviously had her own reasons.

"Ok then..." Suddenly, Emma's walkie talkie crackled into life.

"Emma, I need you down at the station. Can you get down here as soon as please?" Graham asked. Emma could have kissed him for saving her from this awkward situation.

"Yeah, coming now." She quickly responded. She clipped her walkie onto her trousers and looked over to her roommate. "Well...I have to go now...see you." Emma shuffled out of the door, still wondering what the Hell that was. Snow stared at her, watching her leave. Her little girl. Things weren't going to be smooth, Snow wasn't naive enough to believe that. Emma was going to have a lot of rage at her parents, and that was completely fair. But Snow was confident they'd work it out given time. And possibly Regina's permanent imprisonment.
