Noel asked for a oneshot of the curse never happening and Emma and Neal running away from their parents after a fight.
"Have you got your pyjamas?" The little four year old girl asked her three year old brother. He nodded.
"And Mr Snuff." He said, patting his little satchel. Emma rolled her eyes. Neal couldn't go anywhere without that stupid bear. "Why can't Rosie come?" He asked again.
"We've been through this." Emma sighed. "Rosie's too little. We can't look after her. Her nappies are way too smelly anyway. She didn't get into trouble either. You can't run away unless you got into trouble and she didn't get caught taking some cake. No Neal, it's just you and me. We can go stay in the forest like mommy used to. We can hide from any bad men." Neal's bottom lip quivered, the plan suddenly not seeming so fun anymore.
"Don't like the forest." He whimpered. "Scary." Emma took her little brother's hand.
"Don't worry, I'll look after you. Now come on, we don't want them finding us." Emma pulled him out the door, placing a finger over her lips to signal that they had to be very quiet. They tiptoed out of the massive front door. Emma was grateful it was already partly open. It was very heavy and it would have been hard for her and Neal to open it without an adult. They kept going, heading for the front gate. Little did either of them know both their parents were standing watching them from one of the towers having heard them discussing to run away. Well, Emma discussing and telling her brother they were going. They also seemed oblivious to the guards that were tailing them waiting for the tots to decide it was too cold to run away and they'd rather be with mommy, daddy and Rosie getting read a story and having cuddles.
